I started your Great Taste No Pain plan a few weeks ago. To my surprise the very next day I was pain free, no lie!!! I use to eat the normal breakfast meal as well as lunch and dinner. I would be so ill and just didn't know what to do without Anti-Acids over the counter and that which my Doctor gave me. Two days after starting your plan, I was admitted in the hospital for surgery.
The food that was given to me was the same old foods that I use to eat that made me ill. I looked at the meal and only ate the choices from your Great Taste No Pain plan. I was happy and pain free. Right after surgery I ate only the choices that I saw on your plan and in that order. I was happy and pain free.
The combination of foods that was given me would have sent my body into constipation right after surgery. I'm so sick of the way hospitals serve foods that I plan to write a book on How to prepare your body for surgery and after.
It's sad that Hospitals are now serving foods to keep you ill rather then foods to help you recover. Maybe you can send your plan to Doctors and Hospitals, They need it or many people will suffer after surgery not knowing which combinations to eat. Your pain free plan is very much needed.
Thank you Sherry,

Dear Sherry,
My symptoms started last summer with a dry, burning sensation in my throat. After going to my doctor, he sent me for a MRI and soft tissue scan, and then I had an endoscopy all to say that I had acid reflux. My doctor prescribed Prevacid and after reading about its side affects, I determined not to take it. When I told the doctor, he gave me "the look", so I said write me the prescription and walked out with it and promptly threw it away.
I found your website and started to apply your Great Taste No Pain plan and immediately began to improve. It is amazing. I found a natural doctor who pretty much asked me to begin the same diet and I feel sooooooooooo much better. My weight usually goes up in the winter. I have maintained and even lost some weight.
Thanks again for a new beginning.

Hi,
Yes, touch wood, since following your Great Taste No Pain plan.... I have stopped suffering with stomach pains and acid reflux has been greatly reduced
Can't believe it, how quickly it worked for me. Before starting your food combining recipes I was put on medication. I was taking 5 strong antibiotics and 2 anti-inflammatory tablets per day, which made me feel dizzy, ill and depressed.
I have spread the good word around as I feel I have to help my friends and acquaintances suffering!
Thank you,
Annamaria
Hi Sherry,
Last year 2009 I was really sick with the flu and similar type symptoms from January until March. At the end of that time I was left with a chronic cough that did not get any better or any worse. I had a chest x-ray just to make sure it wasn't anything serious.
At Xmas time my cough seemed to "freshen-up" and it was keeping me awake
at night. It didn't get any better so about a week and a half ago I went to the Doctors to see what the problem might be.
The Doctor immediately diagnosed reflux, it never occurred to me that this would be the cause of my cough as I did not have any of the other symptoms you discuss on your website or in your emails with regard to indigestion or constipation etc.
The Doctor prescribed Somac (pantopraxole) tablets to take, I had the prescription filled and it cost $33 about 3 times as much as my blood pressure medication.
Given that I am only 46, I don't really like taking more medication than I need to and being curious I decided to search the internet on "reflux cough". In the course of looking for information with regard to my diagnosis I found your website and your Great Taste No Pain plan.
I thought it was worth a try, so I started on your plan last Saturday and today will be my 7th day of using it. I have slept cough free for the last 3 nights!
I must say I am still amazed that it could have worked so quickly, luckily I was not over weight and we eat fairly well as my husband was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes last year so I really only had to rearrange the order in which I ate foods and cut out the dips and biscuits!
I've really enjoyed your buttermilk pancakes and the carrot and cilantro soup. I am looking forward to trying out more recipes.
All the best.
Lisa
Dear Sherry,
I was diagnosed with acid reflux two weeks ago. I went to my doctor with a multitude of minor complaints. I've had 3 colds since November, I've been constipated, my sinuses are so bad that my eyes look like those of an 80 year old when I wake up every morning, and I've had terrible gas pains.
My doctor diagnosed the acid reflux and the went on to prescribe 5 medications, 2 for allergies, one for acid reflux, a stool softener, and Milk of Magnesia. I knew I didn't want to go that route so I came home and did a lot of research on the computer. I learned that all of my symptoms can be related to the acid reflux. I found your Great Taste No Pain plan online and thought it to be the simplest solution, including traditional and alternative medicine.
I figured I had nothing to lose, and I was right. Yes, I was pain free in a day. The heartburn and most of the burping were gone. I now have been on your plan for a week and I feel a little better every day. The weird feeling I get when the acid comes up, the mucous in my throat and the dry cough are slowly but surely going away. I also enjoy the informative emails you send.
My friends say I look wonderful. I'm less puffy and bloated. I don't have a weight problem, but could lose about 5 lbs, 2 came off without effort in the first week.
Thanks,
Sue
Hi Sherry,
At first, I thought what you wrote was literally "too good to be true."
My mother often suffered from indigestion and, since my pre-elementary school days, I also used to have stomach ache for which I could not figure out any reasons.
When I was little, the abdominal pain used to come from nowhere and would disappear in a short while. By my college years, however, bloating and gas would often come with or before the sharp pain in my stomach.
I tried different herbs, meal plans, exercise, meditation, etc.; they did help, but never solved my problems, which continued to grow bigger. During the past 7 years, added to my list of problems was frequent burping. And finally, my GI doctor gave me the diagnosis of acid reflux. Piling up the pillows or not eating/drinking 3-4 hours before sleep appeared to me neither very manageable or worthwhile at all.
Last Friday, I decided to try your Great Taste No Pain food combining. What a change it brought about! I could not remember when was the last time that I had had such a pain/discomfort-free feeling after a meal!!! It was amazing!
I have been telling my family and friends about you and your Great Taste No Pain plan with much excitement! It makes me feel so happy to look forward to my future pain-free and healthy years with great anticipation!
Thank you so much for your wonderful work and wish you all the success!!!
God bless.

Hi Sherry,
Had accepted that I had inherited a tendency to indigestion from my father, who I remember as constantly pressing his fist into his chest, presumably as an attempt to suppress the discomfort he was feeling.
My 'indigestion' has been steadily becoming more frequent and painful over the last few months and then I was getting an acid reflux effect after almost every meal. It had also started waking me up at night. I had started carrying indigestion tablets around with me wherever I went.
I discovered your report Great Taste No Pain plan on the internet and thought it must be worth a try - even if some of the claims for it seemed optimistic. Usually, I'm skeptical about claims for instant cures but on this occasion I had every confidence that it work even before I tried it. And it did, on the first day. Such a simple process, such a simple remedy. The pain and discomfort of acid reflux has turned tail and fled without a fight. I only wish I could have helped my father!
Thanks,
Best wishes,
Peter
I just want to tell you that as soon as I started eating the way you say in your Great Taste No Pain plan my stomach pain and heartburn went away. If I mess up and don't follow your directions, I get reflux and some pain. I never had reflux until I started using a CPAP machine and face mask for sleep apnea. Now, I have reflux sometimes just from drinking water before going to bed. I have known for years that I have a hiatal hernia and diverticulitis [or diverticulosis, whichever is the one that is there but not causing problems], but had not been bothered by them until recently. I also have asthma, COPD [with never having smoked a cigarette], and Sarcoidosis. I have had asthma since childhood, but it is currently under control.
Thank you for your help and information. It has been helpful.

For many years I have had a problem with acid. One day I thought I just had to do something about it. I prayed that God would help me find out how to decrease the acidity in my system.
I had the thought to look on-line and found your website. I tried you Great Taste No Pain plan and in one day and began following it with some success. I was impressed, the recipes look great.
Thank you for making it easy to understand.

My husband who was having constant stomach pain and acid reflux and popping antacids constantly...is now pain free...and antacid free as well.
