A good friend of mine started your Great Taste No Pain program, as he had pre cancerous esophagus decease, as a result of years of acid reflux, and was on continual prescription antacid medication. His acid reflux was immediately gone, and he amazingly dropped 35 lbs in 45 days! Thing is he claims he eats the same portions as always, pretty amazing and I think you may have saved his life.

My wife and I are both started up and want to thank you for what is truly life changing and really so simple and obvious.

My name is Mark Gutierrez. After several weeks of debating I reluctantly purchased your Great Taste No Pain plan. The reason I say reluctantly, is because I have tried everything from Medications, nutritionist even fasting, and nothing has helped me. For the last several years, I have suffered from severe stomach and back pain as well as severe acid reflux and IBS. I have been told I need my gall bladder removed and that was the reason for my pain. I had no reason to doubt that was the sole reason for all of my pain, until I started using your plan.

After the first day of eating the way your plan says, I felt better right away. The most noticeable change for me was at night. Every night for the last year I would wake up with sever mid back pain, and nothing would help it. The first night following your plan I had very little pain and the next day I had none. TO ME THAT WAS A MIRACLE. It’s still hard for me to believe that just by changing how I eat, can make such a big difference.

Dear Sherry,

Some 10 years ago: I lost my voice and it was due to a nodule on my vocal chords that was removed by surgery- it was benign and remove and was diagnosed as being cause by acid reflux. I am one of those who do not get heart burn symptoms. However after a few months on a PPI I simply controlled it by not going to sleep for 2-3 hours after my meal.

Fast forward to two yeas ago: A couple of years ago, this did not help, and I started getting early morning sore throats and was put on PPIs again. For two years I went on and off PPI’s and towards the end they were not working. Recently, I got a result of osteoporosis in my bones (on a bone density scan) a side effect of PPIs. My physician recommended another drug for this and warning me not to bend or do anything for a few hours after taking it, as it could burn my esophagus. If needed she would double the PPI dose I was taking. By now I was taking nexium..and now she wanted to double the dose!!

This was the last straw...more medications to undo side effects of , and some more again!

I came across you website: I started your Great Taste No Pain plan. In a few days, no sore throats, and my digestive system felt calmer. It has been over a month now. I am now symptom free and some 8 pounds lighter.

MY GI ,although a very nice man was somewhat skeptic about the plan: He wanted to ensure I was really fine. He recommended a 24 hour pH test in which they monitor acid levels (using a tube threaded down my nose all the way to my stomach, with sensors at all point along the way, and attached to a monitor- uncomfortable but very OK) while you eat, sleep etc, .They also monitor non acid levels (what does that mean, I am not sure, but something that is relatively new and only done at the hospital I went to?)

Today I got the results: Today I got the results All my levels are well within normal ranges. He also wants to know the plan I followed :)!!

I would like you to know my story.....I had acid reflux for over 10 years and on Prilosec for that period of time.

I researched recently and found out about your Great Taste No Pain plan. I ordered the plan! I feel like I am in a dream world......No more acid reflux or prilosec.

Dear Sherry;

A little over two months ago I began to experience an intense burning sensation behind my sternum radiating outward to the sides of my chest and a burning on the insides of both my arms from the biceps to the wrists. My esophagus felt like it was literally on fire!! And the pain was so intense I could do nothing, absolutely nothing, until it lessened or subsided, which it rarely did.

Within a few days of that initial occurrence I was unable to eat anything without the conditions returning. I went to my doctor and was prescribe Protonix which I readily took to get relief. I then did some research on the drug and condition and discovered the dangers of the pharmaceuticals, all of them, and the severity of my condition. The actual drug itself provided no relief after the 10 tablets that took!

A few times the burning became so all consuming while driving I had to pull over and stop until the burning and pain in my arms and legs subsided. My sleep position was in a chair, upright and uncomfortable and averaged 2-3 hours per night for two months. No energy, no motivation, eating very little, loosing weight, irritable, lots of swearing, and some crying.

While searching for more information about this condition, I happened across your website, Sherry. I read the material you offered there and realized how much common sense it made and after "combining" all the medical information I now had about this disorder , I realized that, " This just might work!", so, I ordered your Great Taste No Pain plan.

And it did, after using your plan just One Day. In EXACTLY ONE DAY, I was having no symptoms, and actually slept through the night for the first time in the last two months. I almost cried upon awakening that next morning out of pure joy. Actually I did..

I have been following your plan closely, not feeling deprived or limited by the foods I can eat. When I explain it to others, I don't have to cut out the foods I enjoy, I only combine them in the proper way for the digestive system to function how it is supposed to function.

Your plan is filled with relevant information about the logic behind your plan and what the realities really are to eating the way millions of us have for years. I am so very grateful to have found your site and now to be free from this disorder and have my system coming back into balance!

This was something that was totally new to me, not having experienced acid reflux during my lifetime. I am 69 years and after having researched this disorder feel very sorry for the many thousands of sufferers that live with this condition daily. I hope many will find their way to you, Sherry. I know those I talk with will!!

I have acid reflux. It's very uncomfortable in my throat, the burning sensation, or something stuck in my throat with chest pain at time. I was on Nexium and did not want to be on that pill for the rest of my life. I researched on "combination of food" and found your website.

I have been on your Great Taste No Pain plan for 5 days and I am feeling a change in my throat and stomach. What is amazing from you is that the plan is free and is easy to follow.

Thank you so much for your Great Taste No Pain plan. I've been following your suggestions for 10 days now and I've been amazed at the results!!

Having suffered from acid reflux for years and more recently from a hiatus hernia I'm now pain and medication free!!

4 weeks ago I went back to my doctor because I was having so much acid reflux and all he did was to double my medication and told me to take Gaviscon as well! I've been taking Omeprezole daily for the last 4 year and I was very worried about the long term effects so I searched the internet and found your site.

I'm feeling much better than I have for years! And I'm losing weight!

I have been following your book Great Taste No Pain VERY carefully, and I am having unbelievably good results. I say "unbelievably" because I was beginning to think that nothing could help me.

My stomach "issues" started back in 2001 when I was forty-three years old. I would get terrific stomach pain AFTER I ate, BEFORE I ate when there wasn't much food in my stomach, AND during the night - the pain would wake me up. I had tried so many things over the years: Aloe, Glutamine powder, DGL black licorice tablets, Zypan, Tums, Gaviscon, and Tagamet. Then last summer, I started vomiting up acid (the vomiting started again last month) and ended up in the emergency room. I was given a prescription for Prilosec.

I was determined that I didn't want to take Prilosec for the rest of my life. . . . I was on the internet one day and found your website. I have ordered your Great Taste No Pain plan and am SO excited and hopeful thinking that proper food combining is the answer to my prayers. Like I previously mentioned, I am following your suggestions very carefully. I believe my body is in need of quite a bit of healing, and I am determined to get and stay healthy again.

I have been off the Prilosec for over two weeks now, and I have not had any stomach issues so far: no acid reflux, no burning in my stomach, no vomiting up acid, and no constipation. I am getting so much more rest now . . . I am not up at night battling stomach pain. I have so much more energy . . . I used to struggle to keep my eyes open around 2:00 in the afternoon every day. I feel GREAT - better than I have in a long long time.

Thank you, Sherry, for sharing your knowledge with those of us who are tired of suffering from digestive issues . . . and there must be many of us. (In the past five to ten years, an entire wing was built onto a hospital in my area that is devoted just to digestive problems!)

Your Great Taste No Pain plan is awesome. I suffered from acid reflux for over 2 years. I was taking 20 mg of Omeprazole and recently had the dosage upped to 40 mg because I was experiencing a bad sore throat again. After about a week of taking 40 mg, my stomach and body just didn't feel right. Plus, I don't tolerate meds very well.

I searched for a more natural, holistic approach to managing my acid reflux. I came upon your site and tried your plan. Well it took about 6 days before I really started to notice a significant difference. (I think going cold turkey off of Omeprazole may have been the culprit in taking a little longer!)

It has been almost 2 weeks and I have no reflux. I am following your meal plan and doing great. I am a pretty fit person but could never get rid of the extra few pounds that I always wanted to shed. (I am a runner and exercise 5 times a week). So far, I have lost 5 pounds and hope to lose 3 more to get to my 33 inch waist again.

I look forward to reading all the info from you to help continue with my transition to eating healthy and feeling great. I have forwarded many of your emails to family and friends that have suffered with Gerd, IBS and other stomach-related problems.

Hopefully they heed your advice and try your Great Taste No Pain plan
