Dear Sherry,

I am 58 years old and I recently had some digestive problems and was diagnosed with IBS and went on medication to help. It didn't help as much as I would have liked, however since I started your program I stopped taking it and I have IBS under control. I also have not had to take any medication for my acid reflux since I started using your program. I've been taking acid reflux med since the mid 1980's. I feel so good that I hardly believe it. Keep up the good work. I had so much success I told my sister about it, she has diverticulitis. She is feeling great.

Your program is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. I can now enjoy the summer again.

Thank you oh so much.

Carol S.

Hi Sherry,

After a bout with diverticulitis and a G.I. suggesting surgery I tried your Great Taste No Pain program. I never expected results so fast, within days I felt better, my energy returned, and discomfort gone. Learning about the PH factor in our body, which physicians never mention made so much sense.

I am in the medical field and do a lot of entertaining. Just reading your material and gaining a sense of awareness has turned me into a savvy diner. In time, just by practice and reading, your program will form a habit for me and sub-consciously I will follow it.

Many thanks

Ira W.

Hi Sherry,

I am a diverticulosis sufferer and a few weeks ago I felt an attack coming on. For months and months preceding this I suffered from a general discomfort in my entire digestive system, nausea, constant headaches and post nasal drip. I decided to explore the internet to see what I could find, specifically what I should eat, as my doctors had given me no advice when I was diagnosed in the middle of a diverticulitis attack 18 months ago.

I found your great taste no pain site and immediately ordered your Great Taste No Pain Plan. I have shared this with everyone I talk with for more than 3 minutes and am an ecstatic and enthusiastic convert. My headaches are gone, my allergy symptoms have all but disappeared, and my abdominal activity is blissful. I have found my family to be the least interested and in fact even a little threatened when first I mentioned my new eating regime. Mom came home from the doctor with a new acid reflux medication and I cringed. I am hoping they will see the proof that this works through my continued health and try it for themselves.

My quality of life, my renewed energy....wow what a dramatic improvement.....thank you thank you....and so easy too....everything tastes better now. Maybe that is because I have less anxiety about eating now that my food is properly combined and my PH is more amenable to my body's needs!!

Thanks from,

Angela

Dear Sherry,

Well, I've been wanting to write you for quite some time now, but it seems like everything I intend to do gets procrastinated. Like so many others that have had their lives changed by your advocacy, I feel like I'm another one of those success stories, and discovering your site when I did, after having searched on 'diverticulitis' many times, is nothing short of a miracle for me!

I had just had a very untimely attack on June 19th of last year, the day we were planning to take all four of our Oregon grandchildren to the Portland zoo. I woke up that morning with yet another dreaded attack of "dive," as I call it, because diverticulitis certainly diverts your life, and knocks your plans right out. Yes, my wife and I took the kids after all, but most of the time I was doubled over with cramping pain, calling my Dr in AZ to get all my horrid (but temporarily effective) antibiotics transferred to a local pharmacy and limiting myself to a liquid diet (that translated to ice cream, and not much else at the zoo), much to the envy of my g'kids.

It was just the latest in a series of attacks that had been plaguing me every four to six weeks for the last six months, meaning just when I was getting my life back to normal, i.e., a healthy diet including lots of fresh veggies and regular exercise, another one would hit.

On the way back home to AZ, I called my GI Dr for yet another consultation. Several days before the appointment, as I said above, your website finally came up. I decided to try your Great Taste No Pain plan. I saw how easy it is to adhere to your eating plan, started eating as you recommended.

When I told my Dr about your plan, he said it didn’t matter what I ate, it was too late for me, and referred me to a surgeon who going to excise a foot of my colon. Not being one who wanted to have my gut cut, I continued on your plan, enjoying your recipes and taking the wait and see approach. Colon resection surgery was not something I wanted to jump into. After almost two months without an attack, I happily cancelled the consult with the surgeon, and have never looked back. The day before Father’s Day, and our 46th anniversary, I will be celebrating one full year without an attack; in fact not even a murmur from down ‘below!’

Sherry, I am, and forever will be, so grateful for the professional and common sense advice you have given to me, and the tens (or is hundreds?) of thousands of other followers that have seen a merciful end to their grievous, painful and unremitting digestive problems. I have recommended your site to everyone I know who’s suffering any kind of digestive problem, and unfortunately, these days, that’s just about everybody.

Warm regards,

John D.

Hi Sherry,

I read about your Great Taste No Pain plan and decided it was worth a try. I have been using it now for about a month and every day I feel better. It has been the answer I have always hoped for but didn't think existed. How wrong I was, my life has changed around.

I have never felt so full of life my Diverticulitis no longer controls my day. Now I stick to the food combining and great recipes in your books.

I am sixty two and live in Victoria Australia and I have E-mailed my seventy six year old sister in Maryland USA and she has already purchased your books. We are currently passing this information on to our other sister in Western Australia and her family who like us have suffered digestive problems. I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful recipes and real answers to our problems,

God bless you,

Frank

Hi Sherry,

I just want to thank you for the last 5 pain free month. I too have diverticulitis for the last 10 years. In January of 2010 while having yet another attach I decided to go on line and see if I could find something that would help me with the pain. I found Great Taste No Pain and ordered your plan. I have been pain free since receiving these wonderful books.

Not only is the pain gone but I have lost 15 pounds and gone from a size 14pant to a size 8.

What a great feeling.

Thank you.

Sandy G.

Sherry,

I have been following your plan for the past few days, just coming off an acute case of diverticulitis and finishing up my antibiotics. There was a lot of infection in my colon but thankfully nothing had abscessed. I am incorporating many of the great ideas I have been learning about using the Great Taste No Pain formula. I still have a long way to go to cleanse my body and soon will be off my 3000-mg of daily antibiotic use and on the road to being pain free.

I have noticed that my high blood pressure has dramatically improved, and I am starting to feel more energized and having less abdominal pain.

Thanks for the fantastic advice and help!

Sincerely,

Lynn B.

Sherry,

My doctor told me that had diverticulitis about two weeks ago. I was always in a lot of pain day and night. At night I would be up in pain walking around. I decided to search the web and I found your great taste no pain site and tried it. On the first day my pain was basically gone.

I enjoy eating pain free and the food taste great and also can eat out with family and friend. Also, excellence in weight loss.

Thank you.

Johnnie

Hi Sherry,

In November 2008 after a colonoscopy I found out I had diverticulitis. I did the usual meds, better - attack, meds better and so on.

I did a search on the internet and found you website. I ordered your Great Taste No Pain Plan in March of 2009 and things have just been better since. I am 46, 5'8" and in November 2008 I was 224 pounds - I was measured for a tux in July 2009 for my daughters upcoming wedding in September and worried that it wouldn't fit come September - well in September I was down to 160 pounds - the tux did fit, but a little big (this is better than what I was afraid of. By about November 2009 I had lost 65 pounds (down to 159 pounds) - here it is May 2010 and I stay between 154-158 pounds. The weight is staying off and the best part about that is that when I started your eating plan it was not to drop any weight that was just a welcome extra.

As for the diverticulitis, I have not been back to the doctor or on any medications since June 2009 - I had gone to donate blood for battle of the badges and I was denied because of being on meds. I went home that night and stopped taking them and really focused on following your eating plan. I still get a little pain on occasions, but it only seems to happen when eat wrong and that seems to be if I have too many sweet deserts several days in a row.

My wife and I have cut out almost all processed food and stopped drinking pop, water is the beverage of choice and my wife has 30 pounds on this way of eating and is now off of her cholesterol medicine.

Thanks for all of your help - I share your information with anyone who happens to ask what I been doing to lose weight.

Michael R.

Hi Sherry,

I have been following the Great Taste No Pain plan for almost 2 years now. I started the program because my doctor mentioned the word ""surgery"" after my third major diverticulitis attack in three years. As a 49 year old female, I am very attached to my intestines and would like to keep all of them around - you never know when you might need them! Your program has allowed me to do that. I have not had another diverticulitis episode since starting the program. All those foods doctors tell people with diverticulosis not to eat, including popcorn, nuts, seeds, berries, etc? I can eat them ALL (properly combined) with no ill effects. I feel like I am HEALED.

Instead of waiting and worrying about my next diverticulitis attack, I am living the life of a healthy person. Thank you so much for figuring this all out and sharing with the world. I thank you and my intact intestines thank you.

Sincerely,

Winnie
