Hi Sherry,

I started on your Great Taste No Pain plan a couple of weeks ago. I am a long time Diverticulitis sufferer with recurring infections treated by antibiotics. Recently I added to that what seemed like the beginnings of an ulcer. After two days of stomach pain I went to my doctor. He told me I seemed fine and I began to faint as I was leaving his office. They lay me down. I turned white and broke into a sweat as my blood pressure began to plunge. They called 911 to take me across the street to the hospital. I was admitted and there received a CT scan and an upper GI exam. This showed signs of ulcer-like irritation but no bleeding and also some irritation of the pipes leading out of the stomach. They gave me some heavy duty ulcer medication and put me back on antibiotics due to an elevated white count that might be another diverticulitis attack.

I followed up a one night stay at the hospital with a colonoscopy a week later. I also started poking around the internet and found your Great Taste No Pain literature which I purchased. I have had no stomach pain or constipation or infection since I began the program about a month ago. Mainly I try to stick to the food combining principles, carry my wallet size reminder. The only pain I have had since has been when I have DISOBEYED THE RULES.

Hello Sherry,

After having a major surgery about 12 years ago I have suffered with constipation, out of mind stomach pain, visits to the ER with no resolutions. Doctors thought it was all in my head, that I was just an "emotional woman". A Colonoscopy shows that over those years I have developed diverticulosis/diverticulitis and IBS. I had tried most everything including change of diet, but not until I tried combining my foods have I found relief.

It's been about a month of combining my foods that I am seeing some relief from pain, constipation, gas, bloating, etc. I have lost weight; my thinking has cleared up and have much more energy. Who would have thought that the great American diet is killing us.

Thank you for your research, for sharing with all of us who had lost hope in doctors. Thank you for a listening ear as there are few professionals that want to hear or help those with intestinal problems, let alone spend time on research.

I will continue this new way of living and hope to share it with others that are suffering.

God Bless,

Bev Baron

Dear Sherry,

Thank you for publishing Great Taste No Pain. I too suffer from IBS and severe diverticulitis. Six years ago I had to have 2 1/2 feet of my colon removed. Since then I've been pretty good, so I thought until two weeks ago, I had another severe attack that put me in the hospital. It was like a knife stabbing pain in my right side this time. I had a cat scan and found that I now have abscesses and severe diverticulitis on the right side. I went to see my surgeon to see what he thought. Of course wants to remove the rest of my colon and that means having a colostomy bag which I do not want.

After two tear filled days at home in my robe and in bed, my daughter in-law got on line and did some searching for me. That is when she told me about your Great Taste No Pain plan and said to check it out. I thought; what do I have to lose. I can’t hurt worse than I have already do. I tried you plan. I am felling much better since I’ve been on it. No pain. I thought I would start to hurt because some of the foods are items I have stayed clear of in the past because they made me really gassy, bloated, and constipated.

Thank you so much for all your research Sherry. I am making a plan to stay on it for ever.

I had not known before what was causing my problems. I am 61 years old and I have had some kind of digestive problem all my life. I had no idea what to do or even what I was doing wrong before I read about food combining. I was taking laxatives every day just to get a bowel movement. I was always eating "good" food, but the combinations were killing me. I haven't had an upset again with the diverticulitis, period! It's hard to believe something so simple could help so much.

I received and started your Great Taste No Pain plan on the evening of July 23. Since that very evening I have not had a single twinge of discomfort of any kind. I have been hesitant to write so soon, as after suffering from debilitating attacks of diverticulitis for the past 4 years, the very notion that I could be pain free in a day seemed impossible to achieve. However, it is a miracle for me and to feel this great right in the middle of cherry and blueberry season in NJ. It doesn't get any better than that.

My real problems began with arthritic pains in my knees for which I took Vioxx for years and that medication seemed to have kept all my aches and pains under control. However, when that was removed from the market and I realized how much pain I was in, I started taking over the counter medications. This of course eroded the lining of my stomach with a massive hemorrhage as a result. So with nothing to help other than " a high fiber diet" I have suffered immensely. My knees were treated with Prolotherapy and are now fine but my diverticulitis attacks had raged out of control. Then I found your web site and the rest I truly believe is history.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH !!!!

Dear Sherry,

I am a 61 year old guy who recently experienced some terrible pain. After finding out I had diverticulitis and ended up in ER for an abscess and extreme pain, I was informed I would need a resection of part of my bowel. Well, having been under the knife before for gall bladder and also gunshot wounds from Vietnam, I had no desire to do that anymore. After several days with a bag tied to my side to remove the abscess, I got to researching the Net and found your website. I tried your Great Taste No Pain plan shortly after my antibiotics were gone. At first I was afraid, because of the twinges I was feeling in the left side of my guts. But nothing bad happened and I started to get into the program in full spirit.

I had suffered from IBS and Spastic Colon most of my life, until I moved to the Philippines for 4 years. My IBS disappeared almost completely from eating the bland diet of mostly rice and chicken or small amounts of other meats. I moved back Stateside a couple years ago.

I had had no other problems until this last trip there. I returned home and was attacked a few days later by the pain.

To make a long story a little shorter, I want you to know that I have defied the doctors and followed the plan you described. I have more energy now, am maintaining or losing some weight and I feel like I have a handle on things.

God Bless you and your book, keep up the good works.

Dear Sherry,

In February of this year, I was in the hospital for four days recovering from diverticulitis. When I returned home and opened my e-mail, the first thing I noticed was an e-mail from you.

I wondered about the timing of the e-mail for days. However, I continued to read your e-mails and I have to admit SCAM was the first thing that came to my mind. Meanwhile, I was still suffering off and on with the same pain. During this same time period, my insurance company decided they didn't really want to continue to pay anything at all toward my Nexium medication.

Finally, I decided that losing 5 hours trying to get my stomach together every morning was literally taking quite a bit of time out of my day and my life. I knew there just had to be a better way to get through life and enjoy food again.

Consequently, I made the decision to order your Great Taste No Pain program. Thank God for you and your research. My first day on the program was a success! I am 56 years old and I have suffered with IBS, GERD, constipation, and diverticulitis since I was in my twenties. You have done what many, many doctors have not been able to do for me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Regards,

My step mother introduced me to your Great Taste No Pain plan. She has suffered with diverticulitis sending her to the hospital several times in severe pain.

She has had trouble with constipation and pain in her stomach for some time now and has had trouble losing weight. Since following your diet, she no longer suffers stomach pain, has dropped 13 pounds and feels amazing with lots of energy. By the way, she is 79 years old.

I have since purchased the materials and am already noticing a difference.

Dear Sherry,

I cannot express in words the amazing difference I have felt since I started your Great Taste No Pain plan. My husband is running for the State House and my schedule has really been busy. I have used the Great Taste No Pain plan to help put together on the road foods.

I have lost all the bloating and weight is now starting to shed. BUT the point I really want to put across was HOW much it scared me to eat foods that for years have been a NO NO. Since I started ONLY putting foods together that you have listed I have been pain free for six (6) weeks now. Thank you so much for ALL your research so that so many people can be bless with NO MORE PAIN.

I am one of those people who had a diverticulitis attack and if my doctor would of waited until morning to do my surgery I would NOT be here today. Thankfully, through God's Blessings, I was able to have a second surgery to put me back together. For three years now I have not left my home much and afraid to eat, putting on weight but eating little was depressing me. Now I bounce out my door and thankful for each day I have without pain or worry.

Thank You again and I Thank God for leading me to your website.

Hi Sherry,

I have diverticulosis, and the doctor is not sure if I had a flare up of diverticulitis. But after 8 weeks of feeling crampy, bloated and not knowing what to eat. I sent for your Great Taste No Pain plan. It took me a few weeks to stay on the plan 100% as I kept cheating. But what I found out was the days I stayed on your plan like I said 100%, I was pain free, no constipation and ate most of the foods I enjoyed, so why would I want to eat any other way. I have lost 5 lbs. and I am feeling great.

I have learned how to eat in restaurants, although I do not care to go to restaurants very often as I'm not sure what they actually put in their foods. I would encourage anyone with diverticulosis to try your plan. They have nothing to lose except pain!

Thank you. I can see myself living on this plan for the rest of my life. It's just a matter of making some changes to the way you combine your foods. It is not hard once you make the decision.

Thank you again.

Elaine
