A few days ago, my friend and I went out to a nice dinner. We had fish, mashed potatoes, a spring vegetable mix, garlic bread and several glasses of red wine. I knew that my stomach would revolt now and then for no apparent reason, and that night proved to be a bad one.
On Sunday, January 4, 2009, after passing a terrible night, I decided to go to the internet to look for answers. I searched the internet for foods safe for people with diverticulosis and wound up looking at your website.
Thank God I looked at the site and found just what I was looking for; the Great Taste No Pain plan. I found foods that would not upset me. I discovered food combing and have been on the program for a week now. I am so much better! Thank you so much.

Sherry,
I read your website on the internet while looking for food I could eat with diverticulosis. I was so miserable; I tried your Great Taste No Pain plan and have not had a pain or any symptoms since. I have stopped all medication for my stomach problems. Thanks so much.

Dear Sherry,
For almost 6 months I've had embarrassing episodes of belching and flatulence. Every now and then I would have fresh blood in my stool. It came to a point where I just had to visit a gastroenterologist, who advised me to get a colonoscopy. The result showed a single polyp and a solitary diverticulum. Although the bleeding stemmed from hemorrhoids, the news that I had a diverticulum and was at risk of getting diverticulosis and all its accompanying complications was alarming, to say the least. My doctor recommended a high-fiber, low-meat diet.
I wanted to know more about diverticulosis. My online search led me to you. I followed your Great Taste No Pain plan, several days after, I can say that I've been symptom-free and feel healthier than ever! I basically adhered to your prescribed plan, always carefully monitoring the combinations of the food I eat.
I could not thank you enough for sharing the results of your research, particularly Great Taste No Pain, to people like me.
Happy holidays to you and your team!
Best regards,
Adora McDonald
Dear Sherry,
Thank you so much for the eating plans you sent me, I cannot thank you enough for the way it has changed my outlook on life.
One morning I woke up with severe lower abdominal pain. I sort of ignored it thinking it would go away and I went to work just to leave the office again at 10:00 to see a doctor. I saw my GP who examined me and then phone the Gastroenterologist to see me straight away. He examined me and told me that I have to stay in hospital and that he
would administer a very strong antibiotic intravenously. I was diagnosed with Peritonitis. I was admitted on that same day and booked for a CT scan of the lower abdomen later that morning.
The C-scan revealed extensive infection caused by diverticulosis. I remained in hospital for a week on the strong antibiotics and for two days after I got home. I was given a month's supply of Spasmopep.
When I returned to the office a colleague of mine, Vanessa James, forwarded me your details and I am forever grateful for that. I started the Great Taste No Pain plan which I followed with ease as there are not "special foods" involved. I am a new person! No heartburn, no bloated feeling and I have so much more energy and strangely enough, I
am much more tolerant with the usual daily irritations!
Thank you!

Hi Sherry,
I have been on your "diet" for about a week and already noticed less discomfort with my diverticulosis, less flatulence, less craving, and more regular bowel movements. Thanks!

Hi Sherry,
I found out that I have diverticulosis and my doctor gave me an antibiotic which helped me out a bit. But I decided to go on line to try and find out how I could help myself out without all those restrictions and pills.
I found you. I will admit I had a hard time trying to follow the plan to a tee, but I did do the best I can and it helped me out a lot. So much so, that I haven't had any more pain. Thanks for letting me find you.

Hi Sherry,
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and did I say THANKYOU?!
I was diagnosed with Diverticulosis 2 years ago and haven't been able to find the right way of eating since. By "right" I mean a way in which I feel I can express my culinary skills AND remain compliant.
Well, friend---I cannot tell you what making the shift and following the framework of what you have put forth in your plan has done for me- Sherry, I did not realize how much pain I had actually suffered and accepted as "matter of fact" each and every day until it STOPPED!
I must admit, I have made some minor adjustments, but even with THEM, I haven't felt this healthy and clean inside since I cannot remember when--and oh, I have lost about 20 lbs!
So - much appreciation and gratitude to you for this valuable information that has contributed and enhanced the quality of my life so greatly. Keep up the good work!
Many, many blessings and good health and happiness to you, Sherry!
With Love & Gratitude

Dear Sherry:
I spent the day in the hospital with severe abdominal cramps. Then I discovered Sherry Brescia. The information was just what I needed to make corrections in my life style. For a long time I have been plagued with GERD. I am a singer with a persistent red throat.
No more. Since I began following the recipes and combinations of your Great Taste No Pain recommendations I could go to my colonoscopy with confidence and read the report with positive joy. The polyps were benign and while I may have diverticulosis there is no diverticulitis.
My daughter-in-law is a great cook and writer. You may follow her blog in Tall Kate's Kitchen. Soon after I discovered you I told her of the new love in my life. She has become a convert to your thinking.
Thank you for all you do.

Hi Sherry,
I have not suffered for years like many of your clients, but after three very bad attacks of diverticulosis and upon being told by my doctor that there is no cure I decided to look on the web for further info.
I found your plan and tried it for four days. I am very happy to say that I have not had any stomach pain since I started the plan and am delighted that I have lost a stone in weight and have lost that bloated feeling. The 'down' side is that I have to buy new slacks and skirts!
Thanks Sherry,
Maureen Cummings
Dear Sherry,
I did indeed follow your Great Taste No Pain plan as I have diverticulosis/diverticulitis. After being on it for two days, I had absolutely NO pain. I was still a little sore in the lower abdomen, but by the fourth day I felt like a million dollars!!!! I'm following your food list and doing wonderfully. Thank you so much!!
