In July of 2008 I began your program as a result of being told I had Diverticulosis that showed up in my age of 60 Colonoscopy test. I have never had any painful problems. At my request had an Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) done at the same time because I was having trouble swallowing and still had heartburn issues. For three years I have complained and never received anything more than Prilosec and Tums which I took sparingly because I do not like taking medicine. After the test results I was diagnosed with Esophagitis (inflammation of the esophagus) and given a prescription for Pantoprazole Sod for the rest of my life. I also had an esophageal stricture they fixed which was causing the swallowing problem. I had no idea I was in such a mess other than the heartburn for years. Add to this a Hiatal hernia and you can see why I was having difficulties!
I went on line to educate myself on these issues and found your Great Taste No Pain program. I ordered it and began my road to healing. I have no heartburn, and have quit taking the pills. Since I have never had any Diverticulosis problems, I know that I am also healing there.
Best of all, I have now discarded all of my size 10 clothing as the 23 pound weight loss has me in a size 6. The other benefit of losing the weight at this age is that I no longer have all of the creases in my upper lip that were beginning to bother me. My Dermatologist was suggesting a procedure to take care of the creases.....never a word about losing weight to take care of the problem. People have told me that I look so much younger around my mouth, so it really is noticeable. Most importantly is the vast amount of energy that I now have. I am truly a different individual because of your plan. I am a great marketer for you as I tell all of my friends and family about Great Taste No Pain. Thank you for being on line and educating me about how to heal my body through proper eating.

Dear Sherry,
About six weeks ago, I was having one of the worst bouts with my colon that
I'd ever had. I've had IBS for years, but this was different. I had chills
and fever, terrible cramps in my whole abdomen. Then after a couple days of
that, the pain settled into my left side. I knew to cut back on eating
regular foods. I was having liquids: chicken bouillon, warm tea, dry
toast; just one thing at a time, until I was better.
About 5 years ago, I'd had a colonoscopy which showed "diverticulosis."
I knew that when it turns into "diverticulitis" it is dangerous and needs
attention. And I believe this was the first time I really had
diverticulitis. I had read online that when it settles in the left side,
and fever is present, I should go to the ER! So, I was scared, but I didn't
want to go to the hospital, if I could possibly avoid it.
On the third day, with my phone in my hand, I went online again to see
what I was to ask the doctor. As I looked for the site I'd seen earlier, I
passed yours--then backed up and stopped and read it. I spent at least an
hour reading, re-reading and trying to decide what to do. I finally decided
to order.
I'm here to tell you that you CAN teach a 74-year old something new!
(My oncologist says I'm a young 74!) I've survived breast cancer twice: in
1992 (with chemo & radiation) and in 2006 (with radiation). Both were
lumpectomies. So, I certainly want to stay as healthy as possible and
avoid any other cancers.
I feel God's continued care and finding your plan are helping in that
goal. By the way, I can't keep from telling others about food combining.
It's a whole new concept to me. If I slip back to the old way once in a while,
I realize what a difference the new way really makes!
Thanks for making it available.

Hi Sherry,
Thank you for your health system.
I am a nurse, so I am aware of the clinical symptoms and adverse outcomes related to digestive conditions. My mother had one of those inflamed sacs burst and that resulted in a temporary colonostomy following surgery to remove the affected colon. I was
in agony watching my mother in that terrible pain never thinking that it could happen to me.
I found out that I had diverticulosis following a kidney ultrasound some years ago and had one painful episode that took me to the urgent care 2 years ago. I have been self-treating the more frequent episodes at home (not recommended) until last week when
nothing worked and I had the most severe pain yet.
After a CT scan and definite diagnosis of diverticulitis I began taking the medications that were supposed to take the pain away.
The side effects from Cipro and Flagyl were worse than the original symptoms and I could not force myself to stay on them for more than 36 hours. I felt that they were "poison" to my system.
I searched online for help and found you. I am so thankful that you took the time to write down your story and share it with the many people who have and will benefit from it.
I purchased your program and followed the diet for 4 days. I was surprised that I was not hungry and enjoyed every meal and snack in a new wondrous way.
I will continue this way of eating and I am sharing this new information with others, because I believe that our health is something that we can influence and we will be more energetic and happy as a result.
I am so pleased with how great I feel and my increased energy. My husband can't believe that I am staying awake longer at night.
Thank you!

Sherry,
I have used your Great Taste, No Pain plan for three weeks, am virtually pain free, have lost three pounds and have boundless energy. I no longer take the three medications prescribed by my doctor and just thank you from the bottom of my heart.
When I first discovered your website while researching information on diverticulosis I tried to discuss it with my doctor. He was neither informed nor interested in hearing about a food combination plan.
I ordered your program and it has been life changing. Thanks so much. I just want to share it with everyone I know who has digestive problems. It is so wonderful to get up in the morning and know that it will be a great, pain free day.

Hi Sherry,
Thank you so much for sending me your Great Taste No Pain system. I have been following the regime for 10 days and it is working wonders (I am a long term sufferer with diverticulosis with ALL the related symptoms). Most are already considerably improved or have disappeared - though I still await further relief from flatulence and constipation - but I can see improvements there. Bloating, my arthritis has virtually disappeared - I don't need to use face creams any more. I can wear high heels again without feeling tired. My energy levels have shot up - in fact I am a new person.
Many thanks.
Best wishes,
Isabel Potts
Dear Sherry
I thank God for your eating plan. 3 weeks ago a young man prayed for me to be healed in our church service. As a result of his prayer, which was very insightful, the next day I decided to look up Gastritis and Diverticulis Disease on the internet, as I believed that Jesus would indeed be my healer. I straight away found your site and started the plan the next day. I came off Nexium 40mg on the second day, I immediately felt better, and have not felt this well in over 2 years. No more stomach pangs, or lower abdomen gripes. No more excessive gas. No more chest pain. I am also losing weight. I am so thrilled. I told the young man who had prayed for me on the 2nd week and he was delighted that God had answered his prayer for me. I confided in him that I was still a little afraid that it would all come back, so he prayed for me again not to be afraid! I am over 3 weeks on now, and still delighted. Thank you so much for passing on this knowledge. I believe that God intended me to find your site, and since reading all the testimonies, I don’t think I am the only one He leads to your site.
Thank God and thank you Sherry. Bless you.

Hi Sherry,
While my diverticulosis symptoms have significantly reduced through following your diet advise, I am even more excited about how great I am feeling, have heaps more energy, and have lost 5kg - now down to my 'fighting weight'. All this in fewer than 10 days this is fantastic.

Hi Sherry,
I have been on the Pain-Free system off and on for over a week and can literally tell you that there is a remarkable difference. As a matter of fact I am scheduled for a barium enema test this week and I was thinking of cancelling it; however, I also want answers on what caused the pain I endured since November but is barely noticeable with your eating plan unless I cheat and eat as before.
I have been suffering from various intestinal and digestive problems since I was a child. I remember regurgitating bile as a young child and being scared of what was coming out of me. I progressed to different gut problems and the doctors would all tell me that it was a nervous stomach or a nervous bowel. Yeah right! Now what? They don't say the same anymore, doctors and gastoentologist tell me I have IBS, spastic bowel, acid reflux, diverticulosis, colitis and the icing on the cake came this winter when I contracted a bacteria called C-Difficile from which they are checking me for crohn’s now as well. I was hospitalized on four different occasions and took antibiotics for four months. This bacteria caused my bowels to be so badly inflamed that there were pockets of puss visable in the partial colonoscopy that I had done in January. Right after this colonoscopy they removed my chronically inflamed gallbladder. So this winter was not a trip South but a trip inside my gut.
After all these months of suffering and eating bland food that depressed me, I started searching the Internet and fell upon your site and have tried the Pain-Free system. Well would you believe that the major pain that was causing me so much suffering decreased and if I follow your plan it completely goes away.
I am in the process of reading and highlighting everything in the Great Taste No Pain system that points to the end of the tunnel of pain and suffering that I have endured for so long. I love your recipes and plan on using this system for as long as I live, as I surely don't want to experience another period of suffering like I just went through.
I thought I was eating properly as I had made so many changes because of my various problems but it was not enough. I knew that I had to change the way I ate but I didn't know how and where to start. The week I found your Internet site, I told my naturopath that she should give lessons on how to feed ourselves to good health. Thank you so much for answering a need that all of us gut sufferers have. How could we know about food combing being the culprit for all our gut problems? This course is so great because it is teaching us to treat our gut right. I am very enthusiastic and talking to other sufferers about the Great Taste No Pain system. Let's hope that they won't wait until they live the same or similar experience I lived before they decide to change their eating habits, now that they know better. Thank you again Sherry.

Hello Sherry,
I am so pleased so say that only after ONE week of following your eating plan I am finally pain free! I just wanted to thank you & let you know I am sharing with everyone who has a colon issue that your plan works!
May I say that I have been in agony only a brief time... taken to the ER while traveling in Waco, Texas last Nov with extreme pain... and I mean PAIN (the child birth kind!!)
The CT scans revealed the dreaded diagnosis: Diverticulitis and Diverticulosis. Yikes!! What in the world did this mean to me? With a surgeon on standby; heavy pain meds and IV pumping large amounts of antibiotics into me I began to pray.
I was very afraid of the impending news from any surgeon. I tried to remain calm, eating or drinking nothing by mouth for 4 days; gradually I was put on the wonderful liquid then soft diets...you guessed it... "combining" this stuff brought me nothing more than more... you guessed right again… pain...
I was released with narcotics & more antibiotics and told to stay on a soft or "bland" diet. I attempted on my own to eat baby type foods... thinking again, I gotta get this under some kind of control. Traveling was making matters worse but I was trying to make it work aboard our RV in my own kitchen. I blended, mashed and "combined" the wrong stuff... still in pain...
Then I researched the disease and found your site. I didn't believe you at first. I was a “doubting Thomas." I began to eat & combine foods again, thinking the little pain was okay to live with... then another Whammy in February - I passed out in a restaurant; rushed again to an ER...
I consulted a Gastroenteritis Specialist. We did the colonoscopy and more CT scans and more meds... more anti spasm stuff and more antibiotics... nothing was working. He told me I ought to consider the removal of the infected part of my colon with the infection and disease. I burst into tears. A bag for a couple of months then I could go back in & have it taken out... Oh my!! Oh, how I was NOT going to go there unless he told me it was life or death... he couldn't. I began to remember you, Sherry & your website & your story directly after leaving his office. I decided it was time I lived pain FREE...
I am TOTALLY PAIN FREE and even losing more weight. I wanted & needed to lose this last 45 lbs I have been packing around. 4 years ago I weighed nearly 300lbs & had high blood pressure that was out of control. In short I was a mess. I have lost almost 90 lbs to date and my blood pressure is under control. This week I cleaned out my pantry and gave away all the "bad" processed stuff to a food shelter.
I am ever indebted to you Sherry!! My only desire now is to share this with others and that one day I may have the honor of meeting you in person!
May God Bless you & your wonderful encouraging words and your eating plan. I am a changed woman today!
Blessings! With much Gratitude & a Thankful Heart, I remain pain free,
Carol Haines
Hi Sherry,
Ever since my mom passed away in 1999 from stomach and bone cancer, I noticed a trend of illnesses within the family and thought for me, I need to get checked on a regular basis. I was diagnosed with Diverticulosis in 2003 and began to take charge of my health. I read on what to take and eat and figured I would conquer this. Well, on a regular basis, I would exercise and get yearly checkups. On January 7, 2008 I had a near fatal car accident. I suffered a broken left clavicle, 4 left broken ribs, fractured left pelvic and hip and my left ankle swell up double. On my right arm, I have 2 broken bones and the surgeon replaced both with 2 stainless steel plates. As a result of this I was hospitalized for over a month, continuous therapy twice daily 6 days a week for 3 weeks. Once discharge I had home care and therapy.
So yes, I have been through it all. I went back to work on June 2, weaned myself off the meds that were heavy and quite severe. So finally in November I began to feel nausea in the stomach and just didn't feel like myself. I was back on my health kick taking my vitamins and eating healthy, I thought. Since my check up and endoscopy, I was diagnosed with two ulcers and chronic acid reflux. After the doctors visit I went on line and discovered you!
What an impact in my life....I started the GTNP plan the following day and you can not believe the results. You are absolutely correct 100%. I feel much better and energetic. I love the food plan. It truly works! I get better sleep and don’t feel sluggish. With a family history of breast cancer, colon cancer and heart disease, I can say there is a way to conquer your problems. I sit at work and talk about your GTNP plan. I have called my family and with all said and done, I am a living testimony.
Thank You Sherry! I will continue to use your plan forever, even when my ulcers are gone.
