I've had Hepatitis C now for 10 years and I feel fatigued all the time, physically and mentally. I had gotten to the point where I spent more time in bed, sleeping, than I did awake. Food had become a problem too by creating more fatigue and indigestion. Because of little activity I began to be constipated more often and my belly protruded as if I were pregnant. I had some horrible abdominal pain a month ago that led me to my doctor. She ran some test including a colonoscopy and told me I had diverticulosis and that the infection and inflammation was causing the pain. I responded with antibiotics.
I looked up diverticulosis on the internet and found your site. I ordered your books and to my amazement after 2-days I felt a great sense of well-being and comfort each time I ate a meal. My bowel movements are very easy and are often 2 or 3 times a day. No more indigestion and your recipes are outstandingly GOOD! No tweaking necessary. But the best part of all is now after 2 weeks I've lost 10 Lbs. and only need to take a 2 hr. nap during the day versus most the day like I had needed. I'm able to get things done around the house and I'm more clear-minded.
Oh, THANKYOU so much, Sherry for your work and research.

Dear Sherry,
How does one thank you when you live so far away.
I returned home after a colonoscopy very sore and sorry for myself. I have Diverticulosis through the bottom half of my colon and the test besides removing a small growth had really stirred things up.
I found your Great Taste No Pain plan on the internet and decided that what the heck. I could try something else, as all the pills and medications were just not helping the situation of the pain I still was going through.
I had had this pain for over a year and I had quite given up being pain free.
All I can say is THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
I have now been pain free for 8 days and just can't believe the freedom I now have just by following your wonderful, eating program.
I find your recipes exciting as they are quite different to what I have been having.
Your plan is all I use in the kitchen. Thank you once again.
Regards,
Carol-Anne Whinray
Hi Sherry,
I would love to share my story with everyone. First I went on line to find any info I could about acid reflux disease which I have had for a number of years. I was always in pain in my chest and stomach. I even thought I had heart problems many times but every time I went to the emergency they found nothing. I was also diagnosed with diverticulosis but never took any medicine for anything. I should mention that I will not take pills of any kind as I believe a lot of people are over medicated especially the older folk.
I was so thankful when I found your website even though at first I thought it was another gimmick.
Thank you and God that it really works and I feel sooo much better. At first it is hard to believe it happens so quickly.
I just love your recipe book and have tried many of them already in less than two weeks. They are absolutely scrumptious and I am sure I will enjoy staying on this proper way to eat the rest of my life.
Thank you,
Mary Campbell
Sherry,
For the last twenty or more years I have had occasional bouts of abdominal cramps and diarrhea. I always attributed this to a stomach "bug" or something I had eaten and didn't think too much about it. However, this year and especially in the last two months, the diarrhea was becoming much more frequent, to the point of dictating my activities because I didn't want to be too far from the nearest bathroom. The episodes were sporadic and unpredictable. I became exhausted from trying to figure out what to eat and what not to eat. I was hungry a great deal of the time, but was hesitant to eat very much. My doctor diagnosed me with diverticulosis about three weeks ago and told me to take Metamucil once or twice daily. I found that hard to accept.
I began researching just as you had done and found your website. I immediately ordered your Great Taste No Pain program and have been putting into practice all the principles.
For five days, I had no diarrhea, nor those stomach "rumblings" that signaled that I would soon have to "dash" to the bathroom. Last night I met with two ex- workmate friends for dinner. I forgot to bring the little restaurant guide in the back of your cook book. Still, I did pretty well.
I am extremely grateful to you for your research and have already passed this information onto my friends, most especially a colleague whose mother has diverticulosis and has been told to “stay away from seeds". This prompted me to give her your website. No doubt you will hear from her soon.
Again, thank you so much.

Hi Sherry,
My husband was diagnosed with diverticulosis, something that has been bothering him for a long, long time. I knew nothing about this disease so decided to check to see what I could find online. It was just by chance that I came across your website and was impressed by what I read. Although I was reluctant to try your Great Taste No Pain plan we both started your plant on Monday.
After four days, he enjoyed the meals, lost 5 pounds plus the bloated feeling after each meal is gone. I'm anxious to see how he'll feel after another week.
Keep up the good work.

Dear Sherry,
For several years I had dealt with extreme pain in my breastbone and unable to eat much except oatmeal and bland foods. Over the years I had been diagnosed with diverticulosis, IBS, chronic constipation, hiatal hernia, acid reflux disease and probably a few more I am forgetting. I have never been given much hope from medical doctors or much guidance and direction; but I have been given a number of prescriptions.
It’s time I tell you what a God-send you have been to me. After 4 days on the Great Taste No Pain eating plan I was a believer in this as a way of life for me. For the first time in years I was able to eat fruit! I ate it on an empty stomach and had no pain or difficulty whatsoever; now I eat grapefruit or pineapple or whatever I want. I am truly amazed. I have your whole package and have been living successfully by it for 6 months now. I have cooked almost every recipe in your cookbook and they are delicious!
Over the years, I had asked my doctors (including a gastroenterologist) for a diet or some guidelines for what food to eat many times over the years. The answer was always for me to just watch and see what foods give me difficulty and then to avoid those. Frustrating! Never gave me any help because it wasn't the foods I was eating, it was the WAY I was combining them with other foods. WHY? WHY can't doctors latch onto this wonderful help to give their patients?
I used to have a problem with extreme "fullness"; I would eat a small amount and would feel as if I had eaten a ten course meal. Now, as long as I follow Sherry's plan I never have this problem. I also never have gas, even though beans are a regular part of my diet; this is nothing short of a miracle! The proper combining of foods has been the main help for me; but I also do best heeding the other given guidelines as well.
Sherry, I have told so many people about this way of life! I am just a strong believer because of the help that I, personally, have received. I can't thank you enough! Thank you is not a strong enough word!
God bless you and keep you and allow you to continue to help so many who suffer and who the medical field is failing

Sherry,
Your Great Taste No Pain plan has been a blessing and thank you so very much. I was diagnosed with Diverticulosis last month and have been following your plan and it
has worked wonders. My Mother, suffered from Diverticulitis and had a part of her colon removed. My maternal Grandmother had colon cancer and all I could think of was, not me too!
In doing research I found your website and it has helped me to understand how to overcome this condition with the proper eating plan. My heartfelt thanks to you and ""Great Taste No Pain!

Sherry,
I was suffering with diverticulosis or diverticulitis for several years. I loved peanut butter sandwiches and the doctors told me that I could never have them. Since I've been on your Great Taste No Pain plan I've not had another attack. It's been over a year since the last time I went to the doctor for any kind of stomach problems. Mixing the foods correctly has made a huge difference.
Needless to say that I have more energy and sleep better through the night.
Thank you for dedicating your life to better ours.
May God continue to bless you in your journey of helping others to a pain free life.
Hugs,
Lourdes Pommerencke
Dear Sherry,
I have always had what I call a sensitive digestive system. Anything out of the ordinary, such as a vacation, change of daily schedule, stress, etc. would cause diarrhea. Recently, I was getting heartburn almost every day. Antacids did not help. This past year it got worse. I had my first colonoscopy. Diagnosis was diverticulosis.
Last week I woke up with sharp pains in my stomach that made me double over. I spent the day in bed and went to the doctor the next day. He said it was constipation and I should take Milk of Magnesia. That's when I went on the internet and found your website. I have been following your Great Taste No Pain program for a week and have not had diarrhea or heartburn since. I even spent two days away from home and found it easy to eat out in restaurants.
I am so happy to have found a plan that I know I can stick to because of the best incentive there is: feeling well!

I am pain free, bloat free, acid free, nausea free and constipation free when I follow the Great Taste No Pain Food Combining plan.
This would be hard for me to believe if I hadn't of experienced it for myself. I have had IBS since I was 16yrs and I had gallstones at 16. I have had acid reflux off and on since I was 30. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis twice in 2009. I didn't even know I had diverticulosis. A couple months ago began having almost constant extreme bloating, acid reflux, upper left abdominal pain and nausea. Doctor's said that is could be IBS or that it could be peptic ulcer. They prescribed acid medicine and colon spasm medicine and scheduled me to have colonoscopy and endoscopy.
I ran onto the Great Taste No Pain website the day of my doctor visit and thought that anything is better than taking more pills. I didn't really think it could make a difference, but I tried it and I am here to say when I follow the plan my digestive system is fine and symptom free. If I deviate from it (for me right now it only takes one deviation) here we go again, the pain, bloating, nausea, indigestion are all right back.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with those of us who need it so desperately.
