Dear Sherry,

Your Great Taste No Pain plan of eating has helped to alleviate pain (diverticulosis). Once in a while I get off track and eat something that reminds me what pain use to be or neglect to eat my # of needed fruits and salads. I have told many people of you Website.

Thanks for you help and knowledge.

Respectfully,

Suzanne Atkinson

OK Sherry here goes,

I am still suffering from pain in the abdominal area but please understand that I am still recovering from a ruptured in that area. What I would like to say is that I am following your Great Taste No Pain plan religiously and the bloating that I have had has gone down quite a lot and for me this is a big improvement.

I believe in what your plan can do for me. Eating healthier food is a real good start plus it makes a lot of sense. My wife has been preparing for me meals from your book, please understand that my diverticulosis was extensive and it went beyond the lower intestinal track but I have to take my successes in small steps and any improvement is a God send,

Thanks so much

Ernest

Hi Sherry,

I would like to share my story of healing with you. I am a 68 year old woman. I have suffered with "stomach" problems most of my life. My mother used to tell me that from birth I was "allergic" to cow's milk and had to be fed goat's milk. My father was a foreign correspondent for Time/Life Magazine so I grew up in most of the major capitals in Europe. As a child I was constantly plagued with "worms", intestinal problems and bacteria’s even though we did not drink the local water. I even got Typhoid Fever in spite of the precautions taken. In my early adult life when I was married and began having the first of my five children I had on and off "stomach" problems, including esophageal spasms and at 22 had gallstones, gangrene of the gall bladder and then a cholecystectomy I weighed between 85 and 100 lbs. most of the time. The story goes on...

Today, I am divorced, a retired nurse, and am active and basically healthy in spite of the ongoing "stomach" problems which had been getting worse over the last year. Most of it I ignored and just kept on tolerating the discomfort. The problems were not severe but quite bothersome. Recently I began having nausea, chills, leg aches, frequent bouts of urgency diarrhea, and extreme fatigue. I do not normally see Western doctors but seek out Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, and Homeopathy. Six weeks ago I went to my Primary Care Physician who thought I had Hyperparathyroidism but all my blood work came out in perfect range. So she recommended I have a Colonoscopy (never had one before) and felt that I had the classic symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I went on the diet she recommended which involved eliminating much of the foods I enjoyed. The diet helped but I still felt tired and had occasional diarrhea and chills and nausea. The Colonoscopy showed normal colon except for some Diverticulosis which is common for people my age.

Still frustrated, I went online and found your Great Taste No Pain plan at the top of the long list of info for IBS. I ordered your program. For five weeks I followed Great Taste No Pain plan. I kept a diary of all symptoms and everything that I put in my mouth. Things began to improve almost immediately.

I saw my doctor last week and she was amazed at my progress. She asked for your website since she herself has problems with GERD! She was so impressed that with just your program of food combining that I can avoid taking any medications that she would have suggested. My urinary pH is now 7.5! And I have several friends who have problems with their joints and with edema who are beginning to move towards your way of eating.

I am so very grateful for your work. I also researched the art of food combining and saw that this goes back to the late 1800's!

Thank you for caring enough for yourself and for others to bring this program to today so that we can take responsibility for our lives and for our ease in living. I belong to a Buddhist sangha and along with meditation and daily walks on the treadmill I can now walk the rest of my path in life with freedom and ease to do good for others.

Thank you, Sherry!

Sincerely,

Michele Hobby

Dear Sherry,

Thank you for your research and your "Great Taste No Pain" plan. I just completed four days on the plan and I feel better than I have in two years! I have had back joint and nerve pain for the past two years with little relief from conventional medical treatment. I take OTC counter NSAIDs and a few prescription pain meds. For several months I have had lower abdominal pain and constipation and cramping (not surprisingly). I started taking more OTC medications.

I recently had a routine colonoscopy and found that I have diverticulosis. I certainly do not intent to go there! I refuse to have to have surgery and possibly even a colostomy. About the same time I was diagnosed with Lupus. At that point I was a little overwhelmed. After spending a day feeling sorry for myself I decided to begin some research on the web.

I found your website and it all made sense. I was skeptical but thought that I'd give it a try. I could tell the difference in one day! I am not longer taking the stomach and intestinal medication. I still have back and joint pain but perhaps if I can do this plan for good then maybe I can get some relief there too.

Again, thanks so much!

Hi Sherry,

I have Diverticulosis and have had it for over 10 years. (That is when the pain in my side started). I didn't know anything about Diverticulosis and went to see my doctor in April of 2002. I was in pain pretty much all of the time and would have spells of sharp pain every day.

I thought I had a cyst on my ovary and wanted a sonogram to confirm and let my doctor do something for the pain I was in. Upon having a sonogram and then a biopsy I was told that I had endometrial cancer. I went through surgery and thought I would never have that pain again. Before I even left the hospital, you guessed it, the pain started again. When I asked my doctor about it he said "so what do you want me to do?" I was stunned, to say the least. After a few more years of living in pain I finally broke down and went to see my doctor again and he sent me for a test and it was confirmed I had Diverticulosis. My doctor gave me two RX and a list of food I could never eat again. Four days later he wanted to put me in the hospital because I became so sick from following the "diet" he gave me. That was almost two years ago.

About three weeks ago I was hurting, a little more than usual, and sat down at my computer and decided to do some research on Diverticulosis. I came across your website and thought, "what the heck". I changed a few things in my diet and I kid you not I have been pain free after ordering your books. I have been working on a lifestyle change in my eating. I have been amazed at how I feel. NO PAIN!!!!! My thought process is clearer, my skin looks better. My husband says that I'm not as grouchy.

I thank you for doing this research and finding a solution for my problem.

Thank you again,

Staci Young

Sherry,

I have been suffering with acid reflux and diverticulosis for about twenty years. I have been taking Prilosec for about fifteen years (can you believe that???)

Last month I had an Endoscopy with the result of a hiatal hernia. I came home and was in so much pain I couldn't sleep. It was two a.m. and I began surfing the internet and I believe God sent me to your web site. I ordered your Great Taste No Pain program without hesitation and have been following it ever since.

I have not felt this good for many many years, why do the Doctors not know this? I can't thank you enough, Sherry, for the relief you have given me. You have given me my life back. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Dear Sherry,

When I was little I was teased by my siblings because I would rather play with my food than eat it. This caused so much stress at the dinner table that I began eating whatever was on my plate even though I didn't want it, and instinctively knew something wasn't right. I developed allergies with itchy eyes and runny nose at meal times, gained weight, and I've had a bloated stomach and gas for 50 years.

As a young adult I sought remedies and found relief only when I went on fresh juice fasts, always discouraged because within a week of ending my fast I'd be gassy again. I remember being so frustrated because I didn't eat much but still either gained or couldn't lose weight. And constipation has just been a given in my life. I learned just five years ago after a colonoscopy that I have diverticulosis, which my father had also, and he had terrible stomach problems though he claimed to have a cast-iron stomach, which means he developed a very high tolerance for pain.

After my diagnosis, I began taking acidopholus/probiotics and that helped a lot, but it wasn't the cure-all. Your food combining finally is the cure-all. I've also dropped weight effortlessly and my stomach, for the first time since I was ten, is flat. Now I feel relieved and grateful and I tell everyone with health complaints about you.

Thank you for your dedication.

Best wishes,

John Wards

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I had just begun to suffer with severe indigestion, bloating (that I looked a few months pregnant!), constipation, gas and no appetite for about six months. The symptoms would come and go especially with stressful situations. After a lower GI, tests and a verdict of diverticulitis/losis, and a sentence of bland foods with no nuts, etc., I was forty and wanted to do something for myself.

I searched the internet and found Sherry's website. I tried your Great Taste No Pain plan and was pain free in two days. I have more energy, lost a few pounds and swear by this plan. I am trying the recipes and will not cheat on my health ever again!

Sincerely,

Brenda Lucca

Hello Sherry,

After having a major surgery about 12 years ago I have suffered with constipation, out of mind stomach pain, visits to the ER with no resolutions. Doctors thought it was all in my head, that I was just an "emotional woman". A Colonoscopy shows that over those years I have developed diverticulosis/diverticulitis and IBS. I had tried most everything including change of diet, but not until I tried combining my foods have I found relief.

It's been about a month of combining my foods that I am seeing some relief from pain, constipation, gas, bloating, etc. I have lost weight; my thinking has cleared up and have much more energy. Who would have thought that the great American diet is killing us.

Thank you for your research, for sharing with all of us who had lost hope in doctors. Thank you for a listening ear as there are few professionals that want to hear or help those with intestinal problems, let alone spend time on research.

I will continue this new way of living and hope to share it with others that are suffering.

God Bless,

Bev Baron

Just a note to let you know of my progress with your eating plan, Pain Free In One Day. I had been having "attacks" of diverticulosis for about 15 years, although to be honest, they were not a constant thing. When they came, it was horrendous. Constipation was a regular thing and I was hospitalized with a bowel blockage which was a scary thing and the ER almost missed it - can you imagine???

When I began with your Great Taste No Pain eating plan, I felt wonderful "well being" sensations in my abdomen. Can't really explain it other than that way. No cramping, bloating and all the uncomfortableness always there after eating. Another great result was that my weight began to fall off!! Haven't been able to budge it for a number of years in spite of exercise and "dieting", when all along I was consuming the wrong combination of foods.

A heartfelt thank you Sherry for caring enough for people to share your program. I'm sharing it too!!

Thank you again
