Dear Sherry,

I have suffered with diverticulosis for many, many years. At times, I would feel better, but the past three months have been almost unbearable. A CT scan recently showed I had "extensive diverticulosis." I have never received any real help from doctors. When I began doing research, I thought I had three problems....diverticulosis, adhesions from a previous surgery and bladder pressure/frequency. But I wondered if it was all one problem or three.

I tried your Great Taste No Pain plan for four days now. I don't have everything "down pat" yet, and I still have a lot to learn. But I can actually say that I feel good today. It's been a long time since I could say that.

I am 75 years old, a former school teacher and now work two part-time jobs, so I am interested in feeling good and being able to keep on keeping on. I do exercise regularly.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Sherry,

I was diagnosed with Diverticulosis and Gluten intolerance (but not Celiac disease) and IBD two years ago. I was 48 years old. My sister suffers from Diverticulitis and has had one operation already. I fear my diverticulosis has turned into Diverticulitis and that is why I went searching and found your web site. I have been in a lot of pain. Drinking water could sometimes even bring on the pain in my left lower side and I lost ten pounds in one week. Everyone thought I was anorexic because I was afraid to eat, I wanted to. I was just scared. Believe it or not I think my whole problem started because I took amoxicillin and put topical Erythromycin on my face for two years ten years ago. The Dermatologist was trying to cure a rash on my face that I realize now was caused by my digestive condition, which as I look back, I have had all my life.

When I read your information I just said yes. I sort of sensed that it was the way I eat as well as what I was eating that was contributing to my pain. You know conventional nutritional information says "never eat a naked carb." Even Dr. Jordan Ruben says that, so I was very leery of eating fruit. I now eat them in the combinations or alone at the times you show in your book and it is really okay. I feel much better. I may never gain the weight back but I look healthy and I feel healthy and even though the list of things I can eat is pretty short if I continue to combine them the way you prescribe I don't get the pain. I am trying to get my sister to go on your eating plan and hopefully she will soon.

Thanks for the information and sharing it with the rest of us.

Hi Sherry,

I have diverticulosis, and the doctor is not sure if I had a flare up of diverticulitis. But after 8 weeks of feeling crampy, bloated and not knowing what to eat. I sent for your Great Taste No Pain plan. It took me a few weeks to stay on the plan 100% as I kept cheating. But what I found out was the days I stayed on your plan like I said 100%, I was pain free, no constipation and ate most of the foods I enjoyed, so why would I want to eat any other way. I have lost 5 lbs. and I am feeling great.

I have learned how to eat in restaurants, although I do not care to go to restaurants very often as I'm not sure what they actually put in their foods. I would encourage anyone with diverticulosis to try your plan. They have nothing to lose except pain!

Thank you. I can see myself living on this plan for the rest of my life. It's just a matter of making some changes to the way you combine your foods. It is not hard once you make the decision.

Thank you again.

Elaine

I am very pleased to tell you that your Great Taste No Pain plan has really worked for me. I am a senior who has suffered from constipation for most of my adult life and now has Diverticulosis.

It only took me 2 days to be pain free and a couple more days to start being regular. I was simply amazed and feel so good now. I have a lot more energy too.

Thank you so much for your help.

Hi Sherry,

Your Great Taste No Pain plan is working for me and my husband. About two months ago I had addressed my own digestive ups and downs, getting proper nutrition, reducing fats, proteins and increasing vegetables. I felt better, my energy increased, but I still had occasional reactions and heartburn. They were much milder, far less frequent, but they still occurred. Nonetheless, I was feeling pretty good about things when about a month ago my husband began experiencing abdominal pain that wouldn't go away. He went to the doctor and they took some blood, a urine sample and said it might be a kidney infection and gave him antibiotics. The pain didn't go away. It got worse. So he went to the emergency room. After he had two CT scans, one with die, the doctors couldn't definitively say what was wrong. It was probably gastritis, maybe there was a spot on his intestine, but it was getting better and they recommended a bland diet (rice, chicken, white bread, jello, etc.) and told him to schedule a colonoscopy with his primary care physician to be on the safe side.

Bland is bland and I was sure there was a better way to approach this so I got on the Internet and found your Great Taste No Pain plan. We began it jointly. My husband's pain vanished. I continued to feel good. We have been following your recommendations since. I have had no reactions, no heartburn and my husband feels great, though he is not wild about giving up sweets! He did have the colonoscopy - not a bad thing since he is 61 - and it showed nothing except what may be diverticulosis - no inflammation. We have insurance, but we still will be roughly $1,000 out of pocket. It's only been 10 days since we began, but we believe that your food combining recommendations work and have integrated them into our eating habits.

Dear Sherry,

I have been on the "Great Taste No Pain" food combinations for a month. I have been diagnosed with diverticulosis and I was in terrible pain. I find eating these food combinations quite easy to follow, and I am able to eat all the foods I enjoy without pain. It is unbelievable that simply by changing food combinations you can feel so good, but it is true. I am 75 years old and I feel like I am 30 again. Thank you for your plan . I am so glad I took a chance and ordered it.

Sincerely,

Val Hannon

Hi Sherry,

I am 77 and was recently diagnosed with diverticulosis. I didn't know I had it until recently when I just couldn't get rid of my stomach pain for a whole month. It was so easy - I just looked up "diverticulosis" and there you were. So, I decided to try your Great Taste No Pain plan. My pain was completely gone.

Thank you again so-o much - I feel better all around, sleep better, have more energy and no pain. You are definitely a blessing to many and I have shared it with my friends, one of which was just diagnosed with diverticulosis and is trying it.

Thank you again for making my autumn years so much happier.

Sincerely,

Lori Lemire

My husband has diverticulosis and got into a bad spell two weeks ago. He was diagnosed with it 4 years ago, and told he just had to live with it. He took antacids every night. By using your food plan in conjunction with colloidal silver and acidophilus we were able to avoid going to the doctor and the antibiotics routine. In just one short week we were able to turn his whole digestion system around.

Thank you for making the plan so simple to follow, we are both eating better and feeling better.

Dear Sherry,

I have been on your Great Taste No Pain plan for 4 days now. It is hard to believe that this diet could change all the symptoms I was having, but it has. I have been feeling so much better. I have never been diagnosed with IBS but have been told I have Diverticulosis and often I got diverticulitis because of the inflammation in my bowel. I also had my gallbladder out because of the terrible pain, but many times I would still feel that my gallbladder was still there because I still experienced pain. I also have a hiatus hernia which gave me a lot of trouble. I haven’t been taking any Rolaids, Tums etc. since I started this plan.

I am also happy to say that my bowels are almost normal again as long as I follow your plan.

I can't thank you enough Sherry.

Dear Sherry,

While looking on the internet for help for IBS I came across your website and started your Great Taste No Pain plan. Seeing all the whole foods used I was disappointed because I was told NOT to eat what you were prescribing because of diverticulosis and two very severe episodes of diverticulitis and 30 years of IBS. As a result I sadly did not begin the Great Taste No Pain program then, but continued to receive and read your email updates. My diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, gas, bloating, (and fear of going out in public because of those symptoms) continued. I had given up on taking medications; I found they only made things worse. Finally I began searching for a gastroenterologist and surgeon to intervene. I was desperate because of the pain and how it interfered with my ability to live healthily, joyfully and energetically. The surgeon I wanted did not take Medicare, so I began to pray for God to provide a doctor and looked online for another MD when I received an update you sent on diverticulitis. I believe it was an answer to prayer and God provided through you what I needed to heal.

I began the Great Taste No Pain program immediately and within one day felt better than I had in years. I have been using it ever since -- about six months now. I can eat all the foods I loved for years but was afraid to eat without painful abdominal consequences, have no diarrhea, bloating is gone, and symptoms of IBS are gone. Two of my friends who also have IBS have seen my improved health, weight loss, increased energy, fibromyalgia symptoms being minimized, increased ability to sleep through the night and have begun the program also. We share meals so we cook less but continue to eat better than we have in years. I think we should start a Great Taste NoPain Club!

I thank God for you Sherry. You and your Great Taste No Pain plan have saved me from unnecessary surgery with all its risks and complications, and have been the major instrument to return my quality of life. Thank you, and may God bless you in wonderfully surprising ways!

May God's love, grace, healing and peace be with you,

Mary Curdy
