Hi Sherry

I procrastinated for a long time about trying your Great Taste No Pain programme. However, the catalyst for me was when a close friend was diagnosed with bowel cancer... Soon after that I started your program as I didn't want to go down that road. My Mum had also had bowel cancer too and died several years from secondary cancer.

I've now been on the Great Taste No Pain programme for two weeks and am feeling really great. The gas and bloating have gone, I eat very well and really enjoy your menus.

I stopped taking Colofac, the antispasmodic I was on after the first day and have not taken any since. I live in Britain and would urge any others reading this to try this as it's a great programme.

Many thanks

Hi Sherry,

I was hospitalized 3 months ago with 3 infected areas in my colon due to diverticulitis. This was my second attack. Thee months hence I was still having extreme flatus and diarrhea.

I started searching the internet for this problem and I ran across your website. I have experience relief after on day on your Great Taste No Pain plan. It’s been a week now on your plan and my stools are now normal. I also have lost 3 pounds.

Thank you,

Marlene Hulett

I was very skeptical about your Great Taste No Pain plan because I have been suffering with IBS since I was a young child. I am 52 years old and otherwise very healthy and active.

I have just recently been diagnosed with IBS when I was conferring with the doctor who is going to do my colonoscopy. I happened onto your website when looking for information about sufferers of IBS. The doctor told me not to worry about my diet, but instead to take Metamucil daily and prescribed meds for the gas and bloating. I decided to continue taking the meds and to look for a diet to relieve my symptoms I was having. I thought there had to be a better way.

Since following your plan my symptoms have gone. I love fruit and can know enjoy it. I have lost 6 lbs in a week and a half. I am sleeping better and feel satisfied with the food I eat.

Thank you doesn't even begin to express my gratitude for sharing your information.

Dear Sherry,

I have had a problem with bloating and gas for the last couple of years. It seems to have gotten worse the last few months. I was really fed up and starting checking the internet for some solutions. I have noticed a HUGE difference since I have started your Great Taste No Pain food combining plan.

Thank you for your help.

I'd only been suffering from Acid Reflux for about four weeks and was in despair as I'm usually in great shape. How did it suddenly happen? Well, I'd put myself on a near starvation diet in an attempt to lose tummy fat and a couple of weeks into the diet I started to experience chest pains, stomach pains and dreadful flatulence. After four weeks of swallowing over the counter medication for "wind" and "flatulence" I was about to consult a doctor when I came across your report "Great Taste No Pain" plan.

Not really expecting a miracle I decided to follow your plan. To my astonishment it actually works.

Thank you so much for giving me back my life!!

Sherry,

I'm still in a state of shock and awe!

THEN It was a popular Italian restaurant, and I'd eaten a traditional Italian restaurant dinner: bread, salad, and meaty lasagna for dinner, followed by tiramisu for dessert. Approximately an hour and a half later, I had my very first attack.

For 5 long years since that fateful night, almost every morning has begun with at least one round of diarrhea--sometimes 2 or 3--often with horrible cramping and abdominal pain. Then of course I would feel awful, and I would always have to be very careful of whatever I ate throughout the day to prevent any immediate, explosive attacks... but they would still happen from time to time. Every evening was spent trying to muster enough energy to keep functioning after a day at the office, and I could sometimes manage to make dinner but often it was brought home from somewhere else. Such was life with IBS (or so I thought!).

I started eating very healthfully a few years ago: lots of grains, fruits and veggies; very low fat content; more whole, natural foods and less processed stuff out of boxes or cans; mostly water to drink; and always careful to get lots of soluble fiber, all in an effort to control the IBS attacks. Even still, almost every meal gave me indigestion and painful gas, and "rotten" was truly the best word to describe all digestive output... I couldn't even stand my own brand anymore! Every once in a great while, though, I would have a nice, healthy-smelling, solid bowel movement... that intermittent normalcy was my first clue that it might really be the food.

During the last couple of years I developed carpel tunnel syndrome, and eventually had to resort to wearing wrist braces to ease the symptoms. Then came full-blown arthritis to the point of needing daily glucosamine/chondroitin supplements to ease the stiffness and pain in my knees, hips, and spine. My ankles started swelling up nearly every afternoon, and during just about any meal my entire face would bead up with perspiration. This year (2009) I suddenly started getting yeast and bladder infections, more often in the last nine months than ever before in all my 38 years. After getting checked out and taking the medicine to stop each of those problems, I began taking cranberry and probiotic supplements designed to help prevent them from recurring. All the while I was attributing these issues to the aging process and pre-menopause.

I started following a diet program in January, and I lost 20 pounds in 5 months but then nothing more after that. I have a fancy scale that measures not only weight but also hydration and body fat percentages via a current thru bare feet (thanks Mom!). Even as I watched that weight number drop each week over those 5 months, the hydration and body fat numbers stayed exactly the same. That was pretty disparaging...

Then in August I had what I think was either a gall- or kidney-stone attack. I'm not sure which because, somehow, I rode out the intense pain and vomiting for about 2 hours, and then it subsided almost as quickly as it had started. This happened immediately after eating a favorite of mine, a lean meat and cheese sandwich.

Thus began anew yet another search for something--anything--to make the digestive problems go away, something that made real sense to explain why food could be the cause. I can't tell you exactly how many times I've come across that same little link in my searches over the last few years, but I had seen it many times before. Just a tiny Google Ad embedded in an article, two simple, little words: "IBS cure"... a hyperlink I am eternally grateful to have finally clicked, because it led me to your Great Taste No Pain food combining program.

Now Starting literally DAY ONE, the daily IBS symptoms, painful gas, intestinal cramps, and malodorous output ended. Instantly. On DAY TWO I actually felt the increase in energy--so much energy I felt hyper! On DAY THREE the carpel tunnel and arthritis symptoms began to disappear. (I've stopped taking all supplements, including the yeast and bladder infection preventatives, for 5 weeks now and still no recurrence!) AND my ankles don't swell up in the afternoons anymore. AND my face doesn't sweat while eating anymore, either. AND I'm losing an average of 3 pounds per week. AND my hydration number is moving UP and the body fat number is moving DOWN. FINALLY!! :)

I've been keeping a food diary since January, so I know for a fact since starting Great Taste No Pain I am eating less, not because this is a "diet" but because it takes less actual food to satisfy and sustain me. I'm also drinking less water, yet I'm more hydrated(?!). I want for nothing on this program--in fact it tastes like I'm eating fantastic gourmet restaurant food every single day--and all these benefits are happening effortlessly as a result of doing nothing more than simply tweaking which foods I was eating and, most importantly, HOW I was eating them together.

Many blessings to you, Sherry Brescia, for creating this program to make food combining so easy--and for sharing it and your wonderful recipes with the rest of us! THANK YOU!!

Dear Sherry,

I was diagnosed with acid reflux and a spastic esophagus several years ago after I started to black out and have terrible pains in my chest. The doctor prescribed medication and I have been on 40mg of nexium for several years. I decided to reduce the medication to 20 mg of omeprazole because I didn't think the nexium was good for me. I was still suffering from bloating, gas and discomfort, as well as weight gain when I didn't even eat that much.

I ended up in the ER thinking I was having a heart attack after my heart started going crazy and I felt like I was going to faint. That scared the daylights out of me, but all the tests came back that my heart was fine after 4 days in the hospital. Stress and acid reflux, they said. Two weeks ago today I began having terrible stabbing pains in my lower left side. This kept me up throughout the night and the next day during work I was in such pain that I called my doctor.

I had already self diagnosed with what pointed to diverticulitis after researching my symptoms. The doctor confirmed my diagnosis and put me on flagyl and cipro for 10 days. After two days of taking this horrible medication I went back to see him and begged him to take me off this stuff. I was experiencing terrible side effects. He insisted I stay on it otherwise; I could get c-diff. He frightened me enough to stay on it. I was mentally confused, SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN DRIVING, nauseated, a nasty metallic taste in my mouth and listless. So, so sick. I finally refused to take any more of the flagyl after 7 days and it has taken me 5 days to recover from the side effects of this drug.

Which brings me to you. During the time I was going through all this, I begun researching what my diet should be to help me through all this. I found your website and no negative reviews and decided to try your Great Taste No Pain plan. After all, the doctor told me I could eat anything except tomatoes and fruit juice. Everything you said made sense and after reading all the wonderful testimonials, I couldn't wait to get the whole program. You see, this was a MAJOR wake up call for me, a life changing experience. I NEVER, EVER want to go through this again.

I have followed your plan to the letter, and have stopped taking my acid reducing medication and feel much better. I began the Super Shield probiotic about 4 days ago and am enjoying a calm digestive process. I am also losing weight!! I have lost 6 pounds in the last week and am eating better than I ever thought I could!

You are a lifesaver and a blessing sent from God. You are not overpriced considering all the money I have spent on medication, doctor's visits and so forth. I will stay on your plan forever and even have my 16 year old daughter and husband following the plan. They see me happy, looking forward to eating without worrying about pain and they are amazed at how fast the weight is coming off.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Hi Sherry,

I have been on your Great Taste No Pain program for almost a week now. I have noticed great relief from the bloating and fluctuations. I also feel better and have more energy. I have been able to greatly reduce my dependence on Zegerid for my GERD, hiatal hernia and gastritis.

Thanks,

Edna Trumbull

Hi Sherry,

Your system is amazing! Really, I have been dealing with IBS for 20 years and I finally feel like I have hope for a somewhat normal life. Last winter after going to the doctor and finding out I was pretty constipated I started taking Miralax regularly. This helped me for awhile then I would get bouts of having to go to the bathroom too much so I tried cutting back on that and then started my problem all over again.

After trying your Great Taste No Pain program for the last week I have been regular and haven't had the gas and bloating that my IBS has been causing for so long. I really hope this will continue for me. So far, so good!

Thank you for the hope that I feel.
