Hi Sherry,
Thanks for saving my life to say the least. Before receiving your Great Taste No Pain plan I was lost, in fact I thought I was going to die because there is no medical test I have not gone through to find out what was wrong with me. Each time I see a doctor, though there is something wrong with me no one seem to know exactly what it is. They keep putting me on drugs which sometimes worsen my situation and the moment I eat something the pain comes back even making more sick.
The moment I started using your plan you won’t believe it. Its just like quenching thirst, all the pain is gone. I have more energy, my bloating is gone in fact the diameter of my abdomen has shrunk by about 9cm.
Thank you for showing me what was wrong with me!
Best regards
Umar
About two weeks ago my daughter told me about your Great Taste No Pain plan. She had been told by her doctor that she should take Prevacid and felt quite ill from taking it. Her husband researched the side effects and they called me. I had been taking that medication and they were worried about what they had read. Trying to find a solution they came across your website.
I am 63 years old woman, married with three married daughters and five wonderful grandchildren. I am (was) basically a shut-in as going out is simply too risky. My only outings are (were) to my children or to church, on a good Sunday!
I was in my late twenties when I started having difficulties with my intestines. The doctor felt that an infected uterus might be the cause and I had a hysterectomy. The problem did not go away and more issues began. I was told I had loose bowel syndrome. It was suggested that I avoid wheat and milk. A year or so later, I was told I had a hernia. I was told to avoid seeds. Then I became more and more sick. It took four years for them to diagnose fibromyalgia. My own family doctor did not believe in FM and basically made me feel like a hypochondriac. I had great blood work, my blood pressure was great, no cholesterol so why was I complaining!!!!!! So he prescribed Motrin to help cope with the pain of fibromyalgia. I had bladder problems, digestive problems and all was always blamed on F.M. Then the problems with acid began and, twenty-five years ago, I started taking Losec. It was then that my doctor mentioned the danger of Motrin (Ibuprofen) on the stomach. I immediately stopped taking them and decided to cope with my pain through prayers and medication. For the next ten to fifteen years, I took Losec. The bladder problems became so bad that my doctor sent me to a urologist who diagnosed Interstitial Cystitis and told me to avoid fresh fruits and raw vegetables.
The acid was no longer being controlled by the Losec so, a few years ago, I was switched to a few others but, none seem to help. I was sent to see a G.I. who prescribed Prevacid and told me I had GERD. I must say it controlled the acid but once I started taking them, I was catching every cold or bug around me. My doctor suggested that I needed more sleep and because I was up 10 to 12 times a night, to go to the bathroom, she prescribed Desmopressin. Nothing seems to help. I caught the H1N1 flu in September and I was sick until early January.
That was my state, two weeks ago, when I decided to give your Great Taste No Pain plan. Within hours I felt better. After two days, I took a long walk, with my husband, which I had not done in months. I had energy. I quit taking the Prevacid and the Domperidone after reducing it to one every 2 days and then 3 days and have not taken any in the past four days. I can not believe the difference in my life. Last night I actually slept through the night without having to go to the bathroom. I was out for four hours yesterday without searching for a public washroom. I can stand wearing a bra and inches have gone around my stomach. I have lost four pounds yet I am no hungry. I am enjoying the fruits so much, as well as, whole wheat. All of me feels better. I have taken long walks every two days since I started your plan and there's not much to my legs.
I thank my daughter and son-in-law for answering my prayers, but most of all, I thank you for your plan. This plan, along with the wallet size card, and the recipe book are my favorite reading material for now!

Dear Sherry:
Thank you for all the information you have sent me. I love my Great Taste No Pain plan and use it every day. I feel better and have more energy than most of my friends who are younger than I am. I am 87 years old and am very active. I have tried some of your recipes and like all of them.
Thank you,
Chris W.
I love the "Great Taste No Pain" Plan. Instead of asking my doctor of a higher dosage of Nexium, I am off the drug completely. Can't tell you how wonderful it is to not have acid reflex. I have had surgery on 5 hernias and have another Hiatal Hernia so I really appreciate not having problems anymore.
What I like most about your plan is your recipes. They use common ingredients and taste wonderful. My husband even enjoys them. We have never eaten so many fruits and vegetables.
I have been food combining since December 1st and have lost 20 pounds. Love having more energy.
Thank you for your wonderful plan.
Mary
Hi Sherry,
A few weeks ago, I managed to make it through, what I thought might be, my last gall bladder attack. Last, not because I wasn't going to have any more of them, but because I thought I'd die that night. I was almost okay with that. Then, through prayer, I was led to your website. It's the first time in all my research that I found something that addressed, in one place, every symptom and experience I've had--and that offered a real, doable solution. Finally!
I've been suffering for the past six years with everything you, and others in their testimonials on your site and in your newsletters mention. The gas-pain and nausea I knew so well were excruciating and debilitating. The one thing I didn't suffer from regularly, however, was the acid reflux problem; this only occurred with me a few times...nothing serious.
I visited many doctors, as you can imagine, seeking answers for my pain and discomfort, and, ironically, it was for this, that I received prescriptions. No matter what I described, or explained or pointed to, I was ultimately sent on my way with a prescription for an acid blocker or suppressant, such as Ranitidine or Panteloc.
We knew better than to fill them, but out of sheer curiosity my husband and I enquired of a pharmacist, as to the cost of the latter...Unbelievable! At times I was even given freebies, from Periet to Nexium and beyond. Free drugs (I didn't use) for something I didn't even have!
Before all the drug offers, I had an unforgettable experience with a nearly-retired, well-respected doctor at our local clinic. He actually dismissed me from his office after telling me, "...you're cramping, just cramping!" and recommended I just get a physical some time in the future. You might imagine the look on my face.
By the way, all the doctors told me I looked too well...praise God :), so, how could I be so sick? None of them even mentioned IBS, and said my gall bladder was fine. If only they knew...
I won't even mention all the money we spent at the Naturopath. Then, when the Gastroenterologist told me, in answer to my nausea, that he could remove my Ileocecal valve, because they "...remove those all the time" I cancelled my appointment for a scope.
My valve was weak, and I knew toxins were flushing backwards into my small intestines, but I knew I needed it. How come I knew all that and a specialist couldn't tell me why? Anyway, I've just been dealing with it...do all I could when I felt well. The only time I felt really good was when I didn't eat at all. My husband and I would fast for days, sometimes.
I thought I had cancer in every organ within my abdominal cavity; we travelled five hours from our home to visit a doctor I knew of from 27 years ago. He told me I didn't have the look of someone with cancer, and he talked of food intolerances. I remember this from the first time I saw him, but I was young, undisciplined, and was left on my own to figure it out. He, incidentally, followed a man you mentioned, Dr. Abram Hoffer.
This confirmed for me, that I was definitely on the right track with your system...one I should have had back in 1983. So, I believe my IBS started a long time ago, but it fully reared its ugliness in my 40's. I'm 52 now. And, thanks to your suffering :) and your due diligence in figuring out this food-thing, I believe I'm on my way to feeling as good as the medical professionals said I looked :)
I already have more consistent energy this past week since following your system. I haven't been fearful of waking in the night with horrendous "cramping." I'm even brave enough to play a little with your recipes, but, thanks to you, and with my new understanding, I at least know what's happening to me, if things go sideways for a bit. I can now nip-it-in-the-bud...be pro-active, and have the confidence, that as time goes on, so will I...Lord willing :)
Keep your informative letters coming!
Yours, sincerely
Erin
I just wanted to say Thank you... This has been the best thing I have every attempted to do in my life. I have had Heartburn and know GERD for 20+ years. I am Obese and have tried several things to get motivated to make myself healthier. Needless to say nothing was working and I was falling asleep in the middle of the day. I had no energy to get things done or to want to do things that I used to find enjoyable.
I started your Great Taste No Pain program the week before Thanksgiving. I was scared and worried I would fall off the wagon. I must admit I did fall off the wagon a few times and I felt horrible. I was sick, sick, and sick again I told my husband I felt like I had a chocolate or sweet hangover at Christmas.
I got on the wagon again and immediately felt better. I realized that I love the way I feel and clothing started to fit looser and then I decided to do the dreadful weigh in and I was shocked I had lost 10 pounds in about a month. Two days later I thought it was just bloating or water and I thought for sure my weight would be back up to my regular weight and it was the same and my weight has the same. No fluctuation and to my surprise I have lost a total of 15 pounds in 10 weeks!
I feel great and I am in less physical pain. I am painting my home and not tired. I am getting all the laundry done and put away and cooking for 3 hungry teenagers who haven't noticed that I have changed a few things. It is great and I am so blessed to have found you website in the middle of the night when I was so sick!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Heidi

Hi Sherry,
The issue I had before trying your "Pain Free in One Day," plan, was throwing up at night. Some nights if I ended up on my back, I would get sick and end up in the bathroom on my knees. I would also have a burning in my chest and I was not regular at all. Another issue I have is I am anemic and have an iron deficiency. Because of this, I have little energy and tire easily.
After completing three weeks on your Great Taste No Pain I can sleep on my back with no problems, I am regular, I have more energy and I am losing inches. I LOVE it!!!
Thank you!!!
Sheri W.
Hello Sherry:
I've been following your "Great Taste No Pain" food plan. I have been so happy I have done this. My heartburn has gone. I am not hungry between breakfast and lunch. I have also noticed; I am sleeping much better and not awakening in the middle of the night and not being able to go back to sleep. In addition, I have a terrific amount of energy. I got up at 6:00 a.m. this morning, showered and got dressed. Had breakfast and after doing the dishes, I took pictures of the brand new layer of snow we received in Dewey, Arizona. I took my dog for a walk. I ironed for two hours, worked around the house all afternoon, and still felt energetic.
