I started on your Great Taste No Pain plan last week. In just a little over one day, I was pain FREE! I had just gotten over one of the worst bouts of colitis that I have ever experienced! I was still taking the medications that were given to me to relieve my symptoms of this flare up:
After suffering for several days, I woke up one morning to find myself searching for any sign of help on the computer! By blessing of God, I found your website! I read what you had to say and I was skeptical and really did not understand the concept that much, but I was intrigued by the fact that eating healthier could not hurt me any more than I already was!
My grandparents were a large part of my life and growing up, there was always fresh vegetables on the table, my memories started taking me back to my childhood. I remembered, I was never sick, full of energy and never was overweight as a teenager. It was only when I moved away and got caught up in the fast life-fast food world that I started having problems with digestion that only got worse, so for 20+ years I have been one of the billions of people who have spent way too much money on medications that
only masked the digestive problems.
I was scared when I saw how many salads were offered, because I always associate salads with really bad diarrhea problems. Still, I gave it a shot and YES I am very happy to say I am pain Free! I lost 4 pounds in 4 days and could not believe how much better I truly felt! I stopped all the medications on the third day! Immediately, I knew this is IT! Now I am finishing up my second round of the 4 days, I did NOT want to stop.
I weigh in the morning and I know I have lost more, I can feel the difference! My energy level is coming back, I actually feel like walking again!!! for exercise that is. The sluggishness is gone, the joint pain and back pain is gone and I am smiling a whole lot more!
I would like to say Thank You! Thank you for being a smart person and not giving up on yourself and for finding the way to help others! You have helped me and I am so grateful and excited and ready to grab life by the horns again! I just turned 43 and the light just turned on for me in so many ways, just by giving Great Taste No Pain a try!
I'm a very happy camper in Alabama!
Thanks Again!

My story sounds like all the rest. I have a hiatal hernia and have suffered great burning pain all my life. 13 years ago I was started on a proton-pump inhibitor pill and while the pain seemed to go away. The IBS symptoms started big time. The Dr. said it was imperative I continue and if one pill didn't do it I was to take a second one. Just recently the Dr. told me I was starting to loose bone mass and to take another pill. Then
he said my cholesterol was too high and he had a pill for that.
Six weeks ago I started looking for a way out and with trial and error I learned I was gluten sensitive. About this same time I found your Great Taste No Pain plan and decided to try it. It did what you said it would do in two days. The food is wonderful and I am now off all meds.
With the combination of no gluten and your food plan I lost 20 lbs. in the first week and a half. It just fell off while I ate very well as much as I wanted. My sinus problems went away, along with the IBS and half my arthritis pain. I have also learned how to live with my hiatal hernia.
Now, all the pain is a thing of the past along with my old Dr. I am now looking for a new Dr. who is not threatened by new information.

Hi Sherry,
I am 74 years old. I started out with stomach problems about twenty years ago. I was diagnosed with a hiatus hernia. I had to sleep propped up in bed. I also have type two diabetes. I have had pneumonia twice, because of the hernia. I was told that I had Acid Reflux Disease, and put an antacid twice a day. I have taken that for years. About two years ago, I had a mild heart attack. They put me on whole bunch of drugs. A little over a month ago, I started having more stomach problems. I tried cutting out certain foods, which did not help. When my stool started turning black I knew I was in trouble. I went to the doctor. He put me back on Nexium. I took one pill and was up all night sitting at the table leaning over with my head on the table. That was the only way I could ease the pain.
I went on the internet and found your web site. It has taken awhile on your Great Taste No Pain but I am now just about back to normal. My blood sugar, which was running about 160, has come down. It has been down in the eighties a few times. I was taking 6 pills a day for diabetes. I am down to five and my blood sugar is running below 150. I have a lot more energy and the arthritis in my hand is about gone.
Thank you so much for helping me and many others.

Hi Sherry!
I have been trying your "Great Taste No Pain " plan for 4 weeks now. It is fantastic! I am a 58 year old woman with high blood pressure, joint pain, horrible acid reflux and overweight. Since starting your plan I've lost 10lbs. without effort, my digestive problems are gone, my joint pain is non-existent, I sleep like a baby!
Thank you so much! You've been a blessing! I am telling all my friends about you!
Thanks again!
Sandra
Hi Sherry,
I found your website quite by accident. Since I have been suffering untold misery for the thirty five years from gastritis, I figured what the heck. Can't hurt and it just might work.
When I got your Great Taste No Pain plan it sounded ok, I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. Well, let me tell you what was going on first. (Pre great taste no pain plan) acid reflux so bad the doctor increased my stomach meds to twice as much plus it was causing my asthma to activate. I had to increase my emergency inhaler to four times a day. I was already having to use a regular asthma inhaler (Advair 250) twice a day. I have to have a biopsy on my throat because of the acid reflux.
I still have to have the biopsy, but my reflux (as long as I don't get off the diet) is gone. The usage of my inhaler is back to twice a day on the regular inhaler. I can finely sleep at night. Before it was impossible because of the asthma, made worse by acid reflux.
A great side effect of this eating plan is weight loss. Thirty pounds! I didn't even get the program for the weight loss; it was for my acid reflux. That helped my arthritis. It's just getting better and better. I will always use your program. It's a God Send.
Thank you Sherry for saving my life.
Becky
Hi ,

I have been able to stop the prilosec now for last 3 days and feel great! I was able to sleep 8 hours straight threw last night for the first time and look forward to my arthritis getting better. I know I will be doing your program the rest of my life.
Thank you so much for your research and program! I am delighted to have found you on
the internet as my Dr. said just take Prilosec the rest of your life!

Sherry,
I'm very happy that my wife found your website two weeks ago. I was in the middle of more medicine to treat my colitis when she told me she was ordering your Great Taste No Pain system. At that time I had just had a bad reaction to s sulfa drug, Lialda, and started on prednisone from the same doctor. I started on your plan and changed all my old eating habits. A week later we were absolutely amazed at the changes. I've also noticed that my arthritic knee is not bothering me anymore, and I'm losing weight. All the things you've talked about in your program are actually working for me. I keep waiting for the relapse, it can't be this easy!
Before this last attack I had endured surgery for diverticulitis and such extreme pain that I had just about given up on eating. My doctors were saying Crohn's disease, IBS, autoimmune disorder this and that. Now I say, whatever, I'm looking forward to my next meal with relish. I've never felt better. Thank you so much for having this program available.
Sincerely,
Russ Williams
Sherry,
I'm still in a state of shock and awe!
THEN
It was a popular Italian restaurant, and I'd eaten a traditional Italian restaurant dinner: bread, salad, and meaty lasagna for dinner, followed by tiramisu for dessert. Approximately an hour and a half later, I had my very first attack.
For 5 long years since that fateful night, almost every morning has begun with at least one round of diarrhea--sometimes 2 or 3--often with horrible cramping and abdominal pain. Then of course I would feel awful, and I would always have to be very careful of whatever I ate throughout the day to prevent any immediate, explosive attacks... but they would still happen from time to time. Every evening was spent trying to muster enough energy to keep functioning after a day at the office, and I could sometimes manage to make dinner but often it was brought home from somewhere else. Such was life with IBS (or so I thought!).
I started eating very healthfully a few years ago: lots of grains, fruits and veggies; very low fat content; more whole, natural foods and less processed stuff out of boxes or cans; mostly water to drink; and always careful to get lots of soluble fiber, all in an effort to control the IBS attacks. Even still, almost every meal gave me indigestion and painful gas, and "rotten" was truly the best word to describe all digestive output... I couldn't even stand my own brand anymore! Every once in a great while, though, I would have a nice, healthy-smelling, solid bowel movement... that intermittent normalcy was my first clue that it might really be the food.
During the last couple of years I developed carpel tunnel syndrome, and eventually had to resort to wearing wrist braces to ease the symptoms. Then came full-blown arthritis to the point of needing daily glucosamine/chondroitin supplements to ease the stiffness and pain in my knees, hips, and spine. My ankles started swelling up nearly every afternoon, and during just about any meal my entire face would bead up with perspiration. This year (2009) I suddenly started getting yeast and bladder infections, more often in the last nine months than ever before in all my 38 years. After getting checked out and taking the medicine to stop each of those problems, I began taking cranberry and probiotic supplements designed to help prevent them from recurring. All the while I was attributing these issues to the aging process and pre-menopause.
I started following a diet program in January, and I lost 20 pounds in 5 months but then nothing more after that. I have a fancy scale that measures not only weight but also hydration and body fat percentages via a current thru bare feet (thanks Mom!). Even as I watched that weight number drop each week over those 5 months, the hydration and body fat numbers stayed exactly the same. That was pretty disparaging...
Then in August I had what I think was either a gall- or kidney-stone attack. I'm not sure which because, somehow, I rode out the intense pain and vomiting for about 2 hours, and then it subsided almost as quickly as it had started. This happened immediately after eating a favorite of mine, a lean meat and cheese sandwich.
Thus began anew yet another search for something--anything--to make the digestive problems go away, something that made real sense to explain why food could be the cause. I can't tell you exactly how many times I've come across that same little link in my searches over the last few years, but I had seen it many times before. Just a tiny Google Ad embedded in an article, two simple, little words: "IBS cure"... a hyperlink I am eternally grateful to have finally clicked, because it led me to your Great Taste No Pain food combining program.
Now
Starting literally DAY ONE, the daily IBS symptoms, painful gas, intestinal cramps, and malodorous output ended. Instantly. On DAY TWO I actually felt the increase in energy--so much energy I felt hyper! On DAY THREE the carpel tunnel and arthritis symptoms began to disappear. (I've stopped taking all supplements, including the yeast and bladder infection preventatives, for 5 weeks now and still no recurrence!) AND my ankles don't swell up in the afternoons anymore. AND my face doesn't sweat while eating anymore, either. AND I'm losing an average of 3 pounds per week. AND my hydration number is moving UP and the body fat number is moving DOWN. FINALLY!! :)
I've been keeping a food diary since January, so I know for a fact since starting Great Taste No Pain I am eating less, not because this is a "diet" but because it takes less actual food to satisfy and sustain me. I'm also drinking less water, yet I'm more hydrated(?!). I want for nothing on this program--in fact it tastes like I'm eating fantastic gourmet restaurant food every single day--and all these benefits are happening effortlessly as a result of doing nothing more than simply tweaking which foods I was eating and, most importantly, HOW I was eating them together.
Many blessings to you, Sherry Brescia, for creating this program to make food combining so easy--and for sharing it and your wonderful recipes with the rest of us! THANK YOU!!

Hi Sherry,
Over the past week I have been making changes in my diet and following your Great Taste No Pain plan. I wanted to try your plan in hopes that it would help the osteoarthritis in my fingers. One in particular was giving me trouble - the middle finger on my right hand. The middle joint of that finger had become swollen and the finger had begun to curve inward. I am so pleased to report that the swelling has gone down and the finger has straightened up!
What we eat and how we combine the food does indeed make a difference in our entire body. Thanks so much for your Great Taste No Pain plan!
