I have had Chronic Ulcerative Colitis for half of my life. I am very fortunate that I go into remission for 8-10 year periods of time and take no meds in the interim. Yes, about every 10 years I have a flare up and go to my gastroenterologist and take Asacol and Mesalamine suspension and in a very short time, I am well again and off I go on
my way of living life.
In July, I was under a bout of stress with family and friends and wouldn't you know, I noticed changes and sure enough I had another flare up, about the 4th or 5th in my life. However, this time was different. It has been 4 months now and I am not getting well as
fast. Of course, I am 32 years older than when I had my first attack of colitis and I was 4 months pregnant at the time with my 2nd child and sitting at the pool in Hawaii. Things should be easier now. The kids are all grown and out of the "nest". However, you never quit being a mom.
I was relaxing at the Oregon beach when I came across your website. I sent away immediately for your Great Taste No Pain program. When I got home, there was the package sitting on my front porch. My husband and I have been doing the program for 12 days. We love the cookbook. Your recipes are so delicious. We both love to cook and we enjoy tasty meals. We love to eat at home because we feel we can cook better than lots of restaurants. Anyway, we have been thrilled with the meals and we both are feeling better (and he has no problems). We have both lost weight and are sleeping better. I am still having some difficulties with my colitis but the pain is gone. It is still early in our 30 day trial of your great program.

I found your website quite by accident. Since I have been suffering untold misery for the thirty five years from gastritis, I figured what the heck. Can't hurt and it just might work.
When I got your Great Taste No Pain plan it sounded ok, I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. Well, let me tell you what was going on first. (Pre great taste no pain plan) acid reflux so bad the doctor increased my stomach meds to twice as much plus it was causing my asthma to activate. I had to increase my emergency inhaler to four times a day. I was already having to use a regular asthma inhaler (Advair 250) twice a day. I have to have a biopsy on my throat because of the acid reflux.
I still have to have the biopsy, but my reflux (as long as I don't get off the diet) is gone. The usage of my inhaler is back to twice a day on the regular inhaler. I can finely sleep at night. Before it was impossible because of the asthma, made worse by acid reflux.
A great side effect of this eating plan is weight loss. Thirty pounds! I didn't even get the program for the weight loss; it was for my acid reflux. That helped my arthritis. It's just getting better and better. I will always use your program. It's a God Send.

I have been on your Great Taste No Pain plan for over 1 week now and all my relentless pain from Gastroenteritis of long standing has gone away! I have been able to stop the prilosec now for last 3 days and feel great! I was able to sleep 8 hours straight threw last night for the first time and look forward to my arthritis getting better. I know I will be doing your program the rest of my life.

I was desperate when I went on line and I found your Great Taste No Pain plan. I'm a young 70 year old. I was diagnosed about three years ago with Ulcerative Colitis and put on the usual treatment (6 pills a day forever, I was told). I hated the pills and side effects. The burning and the pain in the lower abdomen continued for three years. This year another Doctor said no sign of Ulcerative Colitis. He didn't ask about my diet, no treatment. Total frustration. Pain continue until I found you.
I am happy with your Great Taste No Pain plan. I'm so much better, the burning pain is gone, and I go the bathroom daily, sleeping better, and more energy.

This had been going on for years, Decades in fact, Bloated stomach, Painful, This is wrong, 'Why can’t "they" fix me up? Many visits to the Doctors, cameras pushed into 'uncomfortable' places, tablets that didn't work, antacids by the box full and having to avoid likeable foods all together....Gloom.
Pictures that revealed ulcers and an eventual confirmation "you have Crohn's disease"! That explained the back aches, the foul moods.

I was very skeptical about your Great Taste No Pain plan because I have been
suffering with IBS since I was a young child. I am 52 years old and otherwise very healthy and active.
I have just recently been diagnosed with IBS when I was conferring with the doctor who is going to do my colonoscopy. I happened onto your website when looking for information about sufferers of IBS. The doctor told me not to worry about my diet, but instead to take Metamucil daily and prescribed meds for the gas and bloating. I decided to continue taking the meds and to look for a diet to relieve my symptoms I was having. I thought there had to be a better way.
Since following your plan my symptoms have gone. I love fruit and can know enjoy it. I have lost 6 lbs in a week and a half. I am sleeping better and feel satisfied with the food I eat.
