My Husband & I just started on your Great Taste No Pain plan. He has severe stomach cramps. Since we have been on this plan both of us feel so much better, and his stomach pain has gone away. We exercise 4 days a week in a turbo kick class and are in great condition, and we eat fresh fruits and veggies every day.
Since we have been on this plan I have noticed my mind is clearer and I feel a lot calmer.
Thanks for your info!!

Hi Sherry,
I haven't taken a Nexium since last Thursday. I experienced burning and cramping in my upper stomach over the weekend, but today, I am not. Thanks for all the information. I believe it's going to help me tremendously!
God bless you.

Dear Sherry,
I ordered your Great Taste No Pain plan because of all the diseases/ailments it seemed to eliminate. I do get stomach discomfort or pain- (where do we draw the line?) quite often and just ignore it as well as possible. Often if interferes with the active job I have 3 days a week, or the pleasure of enjoying our grandchildren on the weekends. My memory is poor, and my determination fairly strong, so I have just gone on, hoping it will soon disappear, not tracking the frequency, etc.
I take 2 different enzymes to help with digestion, and the Dr. said if I need more it's Zanax, which I've avoided so far. It seems to certainly result from my eating, judging by the timing and the fact that it does go away after a while. When I received the info about your plan and eventually started on the program, I was thrilled to observe that I was not getting the pain! That was delightful. I figured I was being over careful, since my problem had been so minor, and went back to my poorly combined food. And back to the soreness in my gut! Telling myself how foolish that had been I returned to paying attention and eating better--Success!
It's clear as a bell, eat well, feel well; eat poorly, feel poorly! Being free of that ache makes my job so much more fulfilling, rather than anguishing silently and watching the clock as I serve my clients! Now I'm my enthusiastic, cheerful self and glad to be with them! I've eliminated one of the enzymes, the one I took after each meal, and only take one in the morning, which I could probably eliminate also, but am chicken so far.
Thank you so much for the work you've done to compile the charts, recipes and information to make this as easy as possible to enjoy the tasty foods, feel well and stay active.
Gratefully,
Mary C.
Hi Sherry,
I just started last week following your Great Taste No Pain program and using your recipes and the pain in my stomach and intestines is almost gone. I had been to a doctor who wanted me to take medication for the next month. He then wanted me to come in for all sorts of tests if I didn’t get better. Instead of taking the pills I tried some of your recipes.
Thank you so much for your information.
Thanks again!

Dear Sherry,
I would like to "THANK YOU” for giving me my life back. I am a 55 Years young woman who one week ago was in desperate need to find a solution for my stomach ache, nausea and constipation that I had for 15 years. I was tired of taking medicines, so I went on the internet and under constipation, I found your website. Hallelujah. Let me just say that I am still in disbelief. I feel amazing, Sherry. I came to the understanding that it’s the combination of foods that plays a major part in how you will feel. I am so excited! I have been telling my sisters and friends who also have stomach problems about your diet. Sherry, you are a God send for many people like me.
Thank you and God Bless You.

Dear Sherry,
I am happy to share my success story with you.
I have had digestive issues along with other health problems since I was a child. I was always very thin and had trouble gaining weight….even though I ate tons of unhealthy food. Although I was thin, I had a "pot belly" and abdominal discomfort most of the time.
When I was around 20 years old I went to a gastroenterologist. He told me I had IBS and I should stay away from all raw fruit and vegetables. I did for the most part and it seemed that it did get worse if I ate those things, but I always felt discomfort no matter what.
Years went by and along with the constant bloating and abdominal discomfort, I started having terrible stomach acid problems. No matter what I ate I would have terrible burning in my stomach and sometimes into my chest. When I was pregnant, it got even worse and I lived on Maalox.
Of course like most health issues as I got older it got worse. About 6 weeks ago I went to my PCP because I felt like I had a lump between my stomach and my throat and whatever I swallowed was getting stuck. He told me it was probably because my esophagus was swollen due to acid reflux. He prescribed Prevacid tablets in a dissolvable form, since I couldn't even swallow a pill. He also told me to stay away from foods containing acid.
After about a week, I felt some relief. I then decided to see a gastroenterologist. She told me to continue taking the Prevacid and then come back to see her in 6 weeks. She told me to stop taking the Prevacid a week before I had to come in for the appointment. She said if the pain comes back, then she would want to do an endoscopy. I knew it was going to come back, since I have had this problem for so many years. Knowing that I had to go off the medicine before my appointment and dreaded the thought of suffering with pain, I started research on the computer for natural cures for acid reflux. I came across a few different things, but the Great Taste No Pain plan seemed to make the most sense. After one day on the plan and no Prevacid, I felt an unbelievable improvement. No more burning and pain when eating acidic foods. No more bloating and discomfort in my abdomen when eating raw fruits and vegetables.
My appointment is next week. I was thinking of cancelling it since I feel better. But I may keep it just so I can tell her about GTNP.
I have been on the plan for 1 week and I am so grateful that I don't have to depend on medicine to get rid of my acid reflux. I can now eat foods that I love, which before gave me so much gas and burning. I also have fibromyalgia and frequent migraines, which have also improved dramatically. It really seems to go to be true. I have suffered for about 30 years, and then in one day, I was better, and without medication.
Thank you so much for doing the research needed to come up with the Great Taste No Pain plan.
The recipes in the book are great!
Sincerely,
Lori Luciano
Hello Sherry,
Since I have had low blood sugar, or at least known I have it, for 35 years, I was a bit afraid to try the food combining. I had found that to keep my blood sugar more even it worked best to eat differently than your plan recommended. The way I was eating worked well for the blood sugar, but apparently not for GERD and related problems! Episodes of really bad stomach cramps and nausea and some lingering diarrhea started occurring more often. I did not take the doctor-recommended prilosec or nexium, but tried several natural suggestions. These seemed to work at first but after a while did not seem to be doing any good. So out of desperation I decided to try the food combining which had so many good reports.
I sent an e-mail to you voicing my concerns and got a reply very quickly. I would like to say here that I was pleased that you or a member of your staff would take the time to answer me personally so soon. I was given more explanations and encouragement that this would work. So I began following the suggested meal plans in day 1, etc., very, very carefully, I might add. I used my glucometer several times a day and kept a very close watch on my sugar level. I had to be careful because I had come very close to passing out a couple of times early last year when my sugar dropped pretty low - very scary! But this does seem to be working after 3-4 weeks of careful monitoring. One big surprise has been that I can eat some fruit. I had almost given up eating much fruit because it seemed the acid upset my stomach or at least made it feel pretty uncomfortable.
I can say that there is definitely less gas, bloating, stomach pain, and diarrhea - and generally just a more comfortable feeling in my stomach and digestive area. It does take a lot of self discipline to not eat too much at one time and to cut out special desserts. But not having that pain is certainly worth the effort - and I have to say that eating more slowly and carefully has taught me to savor every delicious bite!
Thank you for your program and for presenting it clearly and in such an easy-to-follow manner.

Hi Sherry,
My husband and I began your Pain-Free plan almost two weeks ago. The results have been great. My husband was constantly struggling from heart burn. I was constantly struggling from bloating and abdominal pain. Well today my husband has lost over 15 pounds and I have lost almost 8 pounds. Not bad for a couple of weeks. The best part is I haven't heard my husband complain one time about heart burn or heard him getting up in the middle of the night to reach for the antacid. As for myself the bloating and abdominal pain are gone.
Although we were not on prescription medications, we were suffering daily and I now realize how much it was affecting our lives. We feel so much better. And feeling better has motivated us to improve our overall health. I know that feeling awful should have been motivation, but most of the time it just seemed pointless.
Thank you so much for all of the help that you and your program have given us.

Hello Sherry,
I just wanted to thank you for the wealth of GTNP information. I was really at my wits end! I had been diagnosed with diverticulitis a few years ago but didn't pay any attention to the diet the doctor had given me. He didn't seem concerned; neither was I. My mother had stomach problems all of her life and I had decided that living with stomach pain was just part of life.
Several times I had experienced severe stomach pains, doubling over pains. One time, I had to pull to the side of the road because I couldn't drive. I thought I was dying. I finally called my doctor and went through test for gall stones but no stone was to be found. My doctor told me to make certain I called during an attack because some of the tests would not show stones unless I was currently having pain.
Three weeks ago, after a week of camping and eating lots of camping foods, I began having such pain that I could barely walk. I kept thinking it would get better. Since I work at a desk, I was able to get through each day, barely. By the fifth day of unbearable pain, I decided to look on the internet to see what I could do for diverticulitis. I found you and the GTNP plan!
I started immediately and was nearly pain free in two days. What a blessing to be able to eat and not have the pain and not have to worry about a surgery someday, that would take away some of my intestines.
Thank you!

Hello Sherry,
I have been on the food combining plan you suggest for one week now and am already finding my indigestion discomfort has been alleviated. Thank you.
