For years, I have suffered from intestinal problems but I never knew until a month ago that I had ulcerative colitis. A CAT scan confirmed my diagnosis, which prompted me to immediately search the web to find out everything I could about this painful condition. That's when I found your diet plan. Early in March, I had spent another week of my life in the bathroom with diarrhea and lots of blood in the stool. And the pain in my gut was excruciating. I finally went to my doctor, who immediately sent me for a CAT scan and then put me on steroids, (Methylprednisolone) to reduce the swelling. He also prescribed Cipro. I was able to handle the steroids for six days, but not the Cipro. It made my stomach burn even more and caused a skin rash, so I stopped taking it. The doc also put me on a clear liquid diet for four days. When it was time for me to start eating solid food again, I asked him what I should eat and he just said to not eat chili or Mexican food. That's it. Nothing more. He also urged me to eat lots of food because he didn't want me to waste away to nothing.
When I told him I was afraid to eat because I didn't want the pain to return, he told me not to worry. Fortunately, I had already found your web site and started following your diet plan. I can't believe how much better I feel. No gas, constipation, blood or diarrhea. No headaches either. I love the fish stew recipe too. It's satisfying and tasty. My intestinal tract is actually relaxed for the first time in a long time. I also have normal bowel movements. What a relief!
I'm not taking the steroids anymore. Instead, I'm using your diet plan along with probiotics, peppermint, glutamine and a few other supplements to help my gut heal. I never feel hungry.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Sherry,
I have just finished 4 days on your program and I no longer have constipation, stomach pain, light headedness, tingling in my hands or feel cold all over and am not tired and moody. I've spent thousands of dollars trying to find the problem, and my Doctor said togive it a try. I’ve lost 14 lbs in 2 weeks. I’m a new person.
Thank you,
Robert Pallard
God Bless you Sherry Brescia,
Most of my life (I'm 64) I have suffered with all types of stomach, intestinal, and bladder problems. I was told not to eat fruit, nuts, anything with seeds, etc. The last few months were the worst I've suffered with diverticulitis; my doctor hinted that surgery might be
necessary. Oh no way I thought. One week ago I went on line and just put in the word "diverticulitis" and there you were. I've been following your suggestions and menus ever since purchasing the program. The pain has greatly subsided; I sleep better and have hope of more pain free eating experiences. There is another book that validates your findings - the Bible.

Sherry,
I'm 42 and have had stomach pain for the last 10-12 years. I thought I was doing everything right - exercising 3-4 times a week and making sure to eat healthy, which WAS to be sure to eat fruit and veggies everyday with limited junk food. I appeared very healthy & fit to people who saw me. But, around age 30, I began to have stomach cramps and diarrhea constantly, especially after meals. My husband and I still joke about how I'd drive like a crazy person and slam on the brakes to make it to the nearest bathroom. (Although, it wasn't funny at the time) My doctor said it was IBS and suggested fiber (Metamucil, Benefiber). After more pain, I then saw a specialist who diagnosed me with spastic colon and prescribed medication. He said I may need to be scoped, which I didn't want at all.
I continued on through the years with bouts of sickness, until last year when I began having terrible acid reflux, gas, and painful heartburn. I tried LOTS of over the counter pills for several months, but none of them helped. By December, 08, I reluctantly was about to pick up the phone again to call the doctor, but I went on-line instead. (Actually, I was in search of information about more medication that might be out there to help) Thank goodness I found you instead. Now, you have taught me about the harmful side effects of all that medicine. I began GTNP on Jan. 1, 2009 and I have felt great since. I want to thank you so much for helping me.
Sincerely,
Jessica Faubert
Hi Sherry,
I started GTNP after suffering from intense stomach pain for three weeks. After researching my symptoms I thought there was a possibility I had gallstones. I headed to the doctor for a diagnosis. After seeing two doctors and having them both insist I had indigestion, I did an olive oil/grapefruit juice gallstone flush and felt 100% better just hours later. Drugs have never been the answer for me and I've been healthy most of my 42 years.
Realizing I had to make changes to my lifestyle, I searched for and found your program. (I did not want a repeat gallstone episode!) I have been on GTNP for a month and have felt better than I have in years, with no more unexplained stomach aches and no liver or gallbladder pain.
What I did not expect is that I also lost one dress size, found I no longer suffer from PMS (no bloat, no tender boobs, no cramping and no irritability) and my blood pressure has gone down although it was pretty good already! I am amazed how many positive effects this has had on my body as a whole! I only wish people I passed the information on to would recognize a good thing when they see it. They all think it's too good to
be true!

Dear Sherry,
I just want to say thank you so much for this health system! Today is my fourth day of
following GTNP and I feel excellent! I hadn’t been eating solid foods for about two months prior because I had abdominal pain and diarrhea every day.
I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease about two months ago and my doctor prescribed me a huge amount of pills to be taken daily for two months and then, for five additional years, 6 pills daily.
When I heard that, I thought he was joking but he said that thousands of people are on the drugs every day and that is not something horrible. It is just cortisone - no big deal, no problem. Me, who was never taking any drugs, to be told I was now dependent on drugs for the rest of my life, sounded really shocking to me!
I felt so depressed and lost. I thought if miracle is not going to happen then there is no future for me. I could not imagine life full of drugs every day. After reading about the side effects of the prednisone and colazid I thought - there is only one way out of that disease - is just to pray to God for a miracle. So now I see that God gave me boldness to restrain from taking the medicine, be disobedient to my MD and that Jesus led me to you wonderful people in GTNP! I really thank God for you! You went before me that terrible and painful way to show me that there is healing through the vegetables and fruits created by God and also God gave you wisdom how to combine the foods correctly in order to be healed! That is fantastic! I have already spread this good news about your fantastic plan and God who works through you!
I tried all kinds of herbal teas and tried to mix food - nothing worked. I was so desperate after trying for two months to be free from symptoms and nothing worked. One evening I just began to read more on internet about that disease and I came across your site! I thought ‘I can try to follow this diet for a few days and see if that way of eating can help me’. And it did, from day 2! The first day was terrible because I cheated. The next day I began from the beginning and to my amazement I had no pain after lunch. I can see that I’m going to be totally symptom free soon. I have still some issues like inflammation in my legs but it is on the way to being gone. I’m really happy now and very thankful to you and Great God my Jesus who loves all you people! THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN!

Dear Sherry,
I ordered your No-Pain diet for my 18 yr old daughter, she had been suffering from stomach pain for about five years now. Two years ago she was diagnosed with peptic ulcers and reflux, supposedly caused by h. pylori, she was given antibiotics treatment but after that, the pain remained so she was given a special diet (no tomatoes, no citrus fruits, no fried foods, etc) and the purple pill twice a day indefinitely. She felt worst with the pills' side effects, so she decided to drop it and just follow the diet, but the pain was always there. A few days ago she started having rectal bleeding continuously but begged me not to take her to the hospital for those horrible tests again, so as scared and desperate as I felt I started praying and my answer was your No-Pain diet. I immediately started her on it and by the third day the bleeding had stopped. She has been on it for two weeks now and all her stomach pain and discomfort has disappeared.
Thank you and May God Bless You for helping others.

Hi Sherry,
Ever since my mom passed away in 1999 from stomach and bone cancer, I noticed a trend of illnesses within the family and thought for me, I need to get checked on a regular basis. I was diagnosed with Diverticulosis in 2003 and began to take charge of my health. I read on what to take and eat and figured I would conquer this. Well, on a regular basis, I would exercise and get yearly checkups. On January 7, 2008 I had a near fatal car accident. I suffered a broken left clavicle, 4 left broken ribs, fractured left pelvic and hip and my left ankle swell up double. On my right arm, I have 2 broken bones and the surgeon replaced both with 2 stainless steel plates. As a result of this I was hospitalized for over a month, continuous therapy twice daily 6 days a week for 3 weeks. Once discharge I had home care and therapy.
So yes, I have been through it all. I went back to work on June 2, weaned myself off the meds that were heavy and quite severe. So finally in November I began to feel nausea in the stomach and just didn't feel like myself. I was back on my health kick taking my vitamins and eating healthy, I thought. Since my check up and endoscopy, I was diagnosed with two ulcers and chronic acid reflux. After the doctors visit I went on line and discovered you!
What an impact in my life....I started the GTNP plan the following day and you can not believe the results. You are absolutely correct 100%. I feel much better and energetic. I love the food plan. It truly works! I get better sleep and don’t feel sluggish. With a family history of breast cancer, colon cancer and heart disease, I can say there is a way to conquer your problems. I sit at work and talk about your GTNP plan. I have called my family and with all said and done, I am a living testimony.
Thank You Sherry! I will continue to use your plan forever, even when my ulcers are gone.

Hi Sherry,
I just wanted to let you know how amazing I think your plan is! I have had stomach problems for YEARS and I've had every kind of test run; but the doctor's could only say I either hand a "nervous" stomach or I was producing too much acid in my stomach. Therefore, they gave me prescriptions of all the mainstream antacids...Prilosec, Prevacid, etc. None of them worked.
Unfortunately, I have been in so much pain over the last few months that I was literally "over dosing" on antacids. I took twice the recommended OTC Pepcid and I chewed Tums like they were candy. What did all this get me? A trip to the emergency room!
Yes, I was forced to enjoy New Year's Eve in the emergency room. I have never had such stomach pain and back pain in my life. My brother just died the week of Thanksgiving due to the aorta rupturing in his stomach. He had complained of the same pain I was experiencing. Needless to say, I was scared to death when I went to the doctor.
They ran tests to rule out the aorta problem, along with heart attack and blood clot in my lungs. Thankfully, these were all ruled out as causes of my pain. They could only conclude that I must have ulcers and sent me home. That was it, no meds, no instructions, nothing.
The next day I was still in pain and called my family doctor again. He prescribed Carafate which coats your stomach. I got that prescription filled at $218.00! It didn't help.
In total frustration I got online and found your website. I had nothing to lose; so I decided to give your Great Taste No Pain plan a try. I am totally blown away! I have been following your plan for a week and I am almost free of pain. I still have a small amount of stomach pain; but I have done so much damage to myself that I know it will take time to completely heal. I hardly belch, which much to my embarrassment was a common thing. An added bonus....I lost 7 lbs! This is an eating plan I can definitely LIVE with!
Thank you so much for saving my stomach and my sanity!

Sherry,
My husband has hemochromatosis and suffers, among many other things, from a great deal of joint pain. Last year, he was also diagnosed with a stomach ulcer. After a year of protonix and various other acid blockers with no results, I set off to find an "ulcer diet" to help him. I came across your web site and that night we began your diet.
After 4 days on the "Great Taste, No Pain" diet, he stopped taking the daytime dose of medication and after 2 weeks was completely off of the ulcer medication. It has been a month now and he has lost 8 lbs. and feels good. He is able to sleep through the night without waking up from stomach pain. In addition to the stomach pain going away, he is no longer limping. It seems that the diet is also helping the joint pain that he has suffered with for years! The hemochromatosis may never go away, but it seems that the diet is helping the symptoms.
This has been a wonderful find and it will benefit our entire family.
