Thanks for coming up with your Great Taste No Pain plan as it has really changed my life. I have always suffered with some kind of digestive problem or another for as long as I can remember. About 3 years ago this acid reflux problem started. I was having to take a Gaviscon tablet at least 3 times a day. I spoke to my doctor about it a couple of times and his answer was to stick a camera up my bottom. Which I have to tell you was not very nice and didn't achieve anything.
I came across your website. I had already had a couple of books about food combining way in the back of our book shelf so I got them out and tried to follow them but frankly I found it a bit much to take in and I sort of got the hang of it but I was only about 80 percent there. Then your plan arrived in the post which explained everything in plain language and the recipes in the cookbook are great. I've really gotten back into cooking now and my dragon pretty much stays asleep. I've lost 8 pounds, my husband has lost 12 pounds (he's following your plan too) and when I went for my hypertension check up last Friday the nurse said she could not believe how much my pressure has dropped and said I had the blood pressure of a teenager (I'm 53) So thanks again.

Hi Sherry,
Sherry, I've been on your Great Taste No Pain program. I have acid reflux real bad and have had for over 40 years. I also have high blood pressure, but not severe. The last thing I have is that I'm diabetic.
1.For acid reflux I've been taking Omeprazole. I usually take 1 capsule every morning and it last all day. I've only taken 1 in the last 2 weeks. It is important to know I have no closure in my esophagus to keep the acids down. Since starting GTNP I've had a minimum of problems and it just seems to be getting better.
2. For my HBP, I take Lisinopril (40mg) & Hydrochlorothiazide (25mg) 1 tablet once a day. My blood pressure is doing great even though I don't take the pills very often.
3. The one I'm most excited about is my blood sugar numbers. Before I started on your program my numbers were hardly ever below 160 on morning fasting. For my sugar I take Glipizide (5mg) twice a day and Metformin (1000mg) twice a day. Since starting your program I've quit the Metformin and just doing the Glipizide. My numbers are leveling out at about 119 avg. for the last month. My goal is to get off all these prescription drugs.
I'm so thankful my son Tyrone, who told me about you. Things around our house has changed drastically.
The extra added feature about this plan is you lose weight. I've lost about 8 lbs. and my wife has lost about 7 lbs. It just seems to fall off because I haven't been trying to lose it.
I've been telling everyone about this program. They are surprised to hear that they have been eating wrong all their life as I was. All I can say is keep up the good work and thank God I found you.
Thank You,
James P.
I'm 67 and have had stomach problems all my life. Four weeks ago I had to have my gallbladder removed. Then my problems really started. My bile ducts were blocked so they had to put in stints. I couldn't eat anything without getting reflux. I had to get some relief. My doctor wasn't any help at all.
I found your website and decided to give your Great Taste No Pain plan a try. I can finally sleep at night and my reflux is gone. I have been on blood pressure meds for years and my blood pressure is back to normal.
Thanks for your help.

Sherry,
I have been following your plan for the past few days, just coming off an acute case of diverticulitis and finishing up my antibiotics. There was a lot of infection in my colon but thankfully nothing had abscessed. I am incorporating many of the great ideas I have been learning about using the Great Taste No Pain formula. I still have a long way to go to cleanse my body and soon will be off my 3000-mg of daily antibiotic use and on the
road to being pain free.
I have noticed that my high blood pressure has dramatically improved, and I am starting to feel more energized and having less abdominal pain.
Thanks for the fantastic advice and help!
Sincerely,
Lynn B.
Dear Sherry,
I have been using your program for almost 3 months now. I never really had any problems that I knew of. One night I was awake all night with terrible pain in my stomach. I thought it might be gallbladder or my heart. I had company for 10 days and was eating a lot more and very different foods than usual and thought it might be something I ate. Well anyway I went to my GP and was told I had GERD. She gave me and antacid prescription and said to take Malox with it.
I came home and immediately looked up GERD and it brought me to your website and as I read I knew I would try your program. Although the medicine she prescribed left me with no pain, I am very much into holistic concepts. I purchased your Great Taste No Pain program and in 4 days I did start to feel better and had an abounding amount of energy.
Let me tell you health wise what I had been struggling with. I had a continuous cough, and a serious sinus problem. I had been told a year ago by a friend that coffee and chocolate could cause sinus and I laughed. Well since I have been eating the way your program suggests. I have no more cough (which I did read happens with GERD) and my sinus problem has cleared completely. I also have stopped taking my blood pressure medicine as my blood pressure has been perfect for a month now. Still lots of energy.
Thank you so much for all your hard work to put this program together. I love the recipes and have spent more time cooking than I have since my children were young and at home and love doing it.
Gratefully yours.

Sherry,
I've had a tough winter with high blood pressure and after 2 ER visits, and wearing a heart monitor 3 different times because of fast (over 100) heart beats and "skipping" heart beats, it was determined that I had PACS.
They couldn't figure out why. Went to a cardiologist and had many EKG's and a complete Stress Test done, and found my heart was perfect. I was put on blood pressure medication and another BP medication that would slow fast heart beats. They made me feel terrible. I was already taking high cholesterol medicine because of a cholesterol account of over 250.
My acid reflux was so severe that I was taking an OTC med 2 times a day for it and it didn't always help. I finally had a severe condition one Monday morning after eating out at a local restaurant after church the previous day. I thought my stomach was trying to spasm up into my throat. I called a gastro doctor that had worked with me to remove my gall bladder 15 years ago, he saw me the next day and I was scheduled for an endoscopy in one week. During that one week wait I was instructed to take DOUBLE of the OTC meds to quiet down my condition. Those pills gave me such terrible cramps in my intestines and severe diarrhea that I had to stop them after 2 days.
I remembered I had bought your Great Taste No Pain plan the year before and put it on my book shelf. I got it out. Read it cover to cover and began doing some of the foods that I had in stock at home. I begin to feel better immediately. I have had very little, if any, acid reflux (only a slight bit if I ate too much food), in these past couple weeks.
I have lost 12 pounds! I was over weight by 25 pounds, so this is a good thing. I've begun a new life style of eating and I really enjoy it.
Thank you for your knowledge and for telling us folks out here about how to eat! I know I have a long way to go yet, as I need to heal my esophagus from all the acid reflux from the past, but I press on and it gets a little better every day.

Keep up the great work. I have celebrated my one year on the program. My GI symptoms and sinus issues have never returned. My BP is lower but I am still struggling with my genetic high cholesterol.
I would say I am a lifer on the program!
Thanks,
Nancy
Dear Sherry,
A friend recommended your Great Taste No Pain plan to me and I am delighted with the results. I am a 75 year old woman, fit and active and I THOUGHT following a good diet until I tried Great Taste No Pain.
For several years I have been taking Losec which a GP prescribed for an annoying cough- when I tried to stop taking it the Acid Reflux hit me, constant heartburn and having to sleep propped up on pillows to ease the acid coming up into my throat. There were also frequent bouts of serious constipation and I was taking a mild diuretic to lower my Blood Pressure. Nearly 6 months ago my GP had lab tests done for me which showed that my cholesterol was 6.9 and she said I would have to go onto medication for
that as she considered it too high- this is when I decided to try GTNP. My GP was amazed when 3 months later a further lab test showed that my cholesterol had dropped to 4.7, my BP was down to 120/80 and I had lost 10 kilos.
She said she had never seen cholesterol drop so quickly without
medication and asked how I had done it. Within the first week of following
the plan the acid reflux and the constipation had gone and the weight was
dropping off.
It is such a wonderful way of eating, all food that I enjoy and the
recipes are delicious!
I've recommended GTNP to friends and acquaintances, your daily emails are
very informative and I thank you for the wonderful service you are
providing.
Best Wishes
Maureen
Dear Sherry,
I started your Great Taste No Pain program a few weeks ago. I am feeling so good in my
body. I just have to say thank you, you have certainly turned my life around. I have suffered with acid reflux and had stopped eating certain foods, sleeping upright, trying different things as not to take any medication. Within a few days of starting your program it was gone. I also suffered with high blood pressure and I have stopped taking
Amlodipine as my blood pressure is normal now.
I have been telling all my friends about this new way of eating because it has certainly made a difference in my life, not to mention my energy level its way up which I needed as my job is very demanding, after a full days work its so good to have a good nights sleep and waking up not feeling tired.
Thank you again, keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
Evon
