Dear Sherry,

I just received your Great Taste No Pain plan last week and started it. I have only been on your system for 5 days and I am feeling better already. I have acid reflex, chronic stomach problems, digestive problems, allergies to meds, type 2 diabetic on two kinds of insulin and I am a 64 year old woman, and gained 50 lbs from the insulin. I have been a diabetic for 3 years. Allergies to meds and sensitive to some foods and mold, mildew and etc.

The doctors only want to give you meds for everything. It does not matter if it is synthetic or the real thing I have become allergic to it. If the meds have 10 side effects I wind up with 7 and some into the serious ones. I have wound up in Er at least once in the last 4 yrs with a reaction to the meds the doctors have given me. The hospitals always think high blood pressure, tightness in the chest and your sugars out of whack heart attack. I have had all kinds of heart test, EKG, and etc. with a bill of 15,000 to go with it. Thank God for medical insurance.

When I would get these allergies I would have to detox myself with 100 units of Benadryl. This would sometimes work. This last month the doctor gave me a pill for my high blood pressure and of course I broke out in a rash, also gave me an antibiotic for my bladder infection which I of course had swollen tongue and throat with. Wound up in Er. Of course they thought I was having a heart attack. I told them reaction to pills. They then gave me prednisone which is a steroid. I asked them about the shot if any one every got a reaction to it. The doctor said no one has been allergic to it. Well next day my throat swelling went down but I was covered in a rash, itching and my face was swelling up. Back on the Benadryl and it took me a week to detox myself from the meds.

I am hoping with your system and the changes I have made in my eating I will be able to get off the insulin all together. I have already started lowering my insulin and started loosing weight. Thank God for you and your system, nothing else seemed to work on me.

I have started putting the right foods together. What a difference it is starting to make. I have almost stopped having muscle spasms in my lower back, and the digestive system is a lot better

I am telling and sharing the results with everyone I come in contact with. I am also giving out your website to all who want it. The website has been a God sent to me. Some of the same problems some of your other clients have had are sounding just like mine. What is so neat about you system is it is easy, safe, and simple to do and no drugs and side effects.

Thank you again for all your help and research you and your family have done to help others like myself.

God Bless you all and keep up the good work. Thank you again for the emails on people you have helped.

Very interesting reading.

Dear Sherry,

I will be 82 in November. I just happened to find your website. When I read about the way to eat I thought that sounds good to me and I sent for your book and believe me you are not getting it back.

I have diabetes 2. I never slept more than 4 hours of sleep a night. I was always tired, I have 2 painful knees and a painful left hip. I have not taken a nap in the afternoon now for 3 days. I have been sleeping 6 and 8 1/8 hours a night, getting more things done and I feel great. I'm hoping I might be able to give up the pills for my Diabetes. I will soon be going to the doctor for blood work for my sugar and I'm going to ask if he can check for other work in the blood. I forgot to say in the last two days my knees & hip are not as hurtful.

I would like to live to 100 and maybe now I might make it.

Thank you for all the information and my God bless you in everything you do.

I have been on your Great Taste No Pain plan for only 1 week. I have type 2 diabetes I have been working on losing weight this summer but have noticed a significant jump in weight loss since following this plan. I also have been exercising daily and I do notice an increase in energy. My medications were recently reduced and my hope is that I can go off them completely.

I feel really great.

Dear Sherry,

You are a godsend! Although I am sorry you had to go through so much pain for so many years (as so many of us have!) I can't thank you enough for how you've turned that into such a positive by helping others learn the simple basics of how to eat correctly.

I have lived with my daughter's family for the past 10 months after taking care of my own mother for 4 years. My body has NEVER been able to handle Western medicine, and I felt very fortunate to discover homeopathy and other alternative methods about 12 years ago. It helped with the fibromyalgia that was diagnosed by my chiropractor after a minor car accident. Since abdominal problems are a part of fibro, I figured I had finally discovered why I had negative reactions after every meal. Using only alternative methods, things were more tolerable for a few years. However, they began to get worse again, especially this past year. On May 21, I awoke feeling extremely dizzy. As the morning wore on, I wore down --- holding onto the hallway walls to keep from falling down from being so dizzy while trying to run to the bathroom for yet another "throne explosion" and vomiting.

Since my daughter’s husband is a diabetic, she asked him to test my sugar level. It was 315! That scared me silly. Long story short = I ended up in the hospital. Diabetes was diagnosed and treated somewhat successfully. However, after every "diabetic" meal and dose of medication, my body strongly objected. It was decided that the "mass" that was seen on x-rays needed to be scanned. But first I needed to drink something called Contrast. BIG MISTAKE! This led to a second diagnosis of I.B.S. (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) I was also told that I had "the dumping syndrome" = food in, food out. Sometimes within minutes. No wonder I've been so hungry all my life. Those poor little nutrition grabbers never had a chance!! I was sent home with an RX for 5mg of Glipizide to be taken in the a.m. and was also to see another doctor for a follow-up visit a week later.

During that week I discovered your Great Taste No Pain plan. It made so much sense!!! I immediately sent for it. AFTER THE VERY FIRST MEAL, I knew you were right!! NO pain, NO bloating, NO gas, NO diarrhea, NO constipation, NO nausea, NOthing!! For a whole week!!! God bless you!!!

Then I went for the follow-up visit. That doctor was very charming. Although he understood my reluctance to take medications, he stressed the "future possibilities" of diabetes and said that I had to weigh them against the present side effects. In other words, take the drugs, make myself sick and live with it. Meantime, only test my sugar levels once a week (can you believe it?!), attend the hospital's diabetic food classes, and see him again in a month. Say what?! He's going to base his plan of action on only 4 numbers?!!! And from what was offered on those diabetic food trays, well, who needs the "food education"?! The real kicker though was he actually said, "The way you eat food will have no effect on your diabetes. And, we'll treat the I.B.S. at a later date." Like they're separate issues??!!! Anyway, because of all that had happened and all that he had said, I took one dose of Metformin 500 mg. at bedtime. ANOTHER BIG MISTAKE! My plan now is to get so squeaky clean inside that ALL of my body's challenges will be overcome and there will be NO doctors and NO meds. in my life ever again!!

I had started seeing a Naturopath about 3 months ago. Together we're going to work on how to incorporate the diabetes with Great Taste No Pain. Thanks to you, I am pain free for the first time since my teens! I am now 64, and looking forward to a long, pain-free and very happy life!

With love and great Appreciation!

Hello Sherry,

Since I have had low blood sugar, or at least known I have it, for 35 years, I was a bit afraid to try the food combining. I had found that to keep my blood sugar more even it worked best to eat differently than your plan recommended. The way I was eating worked well for the blood sugar, but apparently not for GERD and related problems! Episodes of really bad stomach cramps and nausea and some lingering diarrhea started occurring more often. I did not take the doctor-recommended prilosec or nexium, but tried several natural suggestions. These seemed to work at first but after a while did not seem to be doing any good. So out of desperation I decided to try the food combining which had so many good reports.

I sent an e-mail to you voicing my concerns and got a reply very quickly. I would like to say here that I was pleased that you or a member of your staff would take the time to answer me personally so soon. I was given more explanations and encouragement that this would work. So I began following the suggested meal plans in day 1, etc., very, very carefully, I might add. I used my glucometer several times a day and kept a very close watch on my sugar level. I had to be careful because I had come very close to passing out a couple of times early last year when my sugar dropped pretty low - very scary! But this does seem to be working after 3-4 weeks of careful monitoring. One big surprise has been that I can eat some fruit. I had almost given up eating much fruit because it seemed the acid upset my stomach or at least made it feel pretty uncomfortable.

I can say that there is definitely less gas, bloating, stomach pain, and diarrhea - and generally just a more comfortable feeling in my stomach and digestive area. It does take a lot of self discipline to not eat too much at one time and to cut out special desserts. But not having that pain is certainly worth the effort - and I have to say that eating more slowly and carefully has taught me to savor every delicious bite!

Thank you for your program and for presenting it clearly and in such an easy-to-follow manner.

Hi Sherry

I am writing this for my husband, Robert Titus. We started your Great Taste No Pain two weeks ago. Following the first two days your plan helped Robert so much. He immediately had relief from the diverticulitis pain that he had been having. Taking medicine from the Dr. had not helped. Little by little the pain went away. Within a week of starting the plan he had no pain. We are following the plan as he said he never wanted that pain ever again. An added bonus, he is off of his diabetic medicine, as his diabetic numbers are good, morning and night. He does exercise, and walks twice a day.

Neither of us have the acid reflux that we had occasionally. And I have lost 4 pounds. Robert does not have to lose weight. He actually needs to gain.

I am so grateful that I went on the computer that day and looked up diverticulitis. It has changed our lives and I will be forever grateful to you.

I am spreading the word, to whomever I see or talk to, family and friends.

Thank you, thank you,

Phyllis Titus

Hello Sherry,

I know you have received thousands of these emails. But I wanted to thank you so much. I'm 47 yrs old, and have had IBS symptoms my entire life. Three weeks ago I started with severe abdominal pain. I couldn't work, I couldn't eat. After a week of no let up, my husband took me to the emergency room. I couldn't take it anymore. There I was diagnosed with severe gastritis. The doctor told me to go on the standard, bland diet, with nexium and Percocet for pain. The generic of nexium was $62.00 and I couldn't afford it. So I started taking ronitadine 6 x a day. It took the edge off, but no real relief. I still couldn't eat or drive, let alone go to work. It was that bad. So I started searching the internet for digestive treatments and I found you! The meal plan was a Godsend. I implemented the plan with what I had on hand to eat. I was so relieved with my very first meal that I cried. By the third day, all the pain and distention was completely gone. I never heard about acidosis before and what it can do to the body. I also have diabetic neuropathy and fibromyalgia. I was popping so much acetaminophen over the years that the ER doctor told me my liver was stressed. However, since following this plan and reducing my body acids, the pain from those two conditions have all gone away. I can sleep at night now. And no more drugs except for the insulin! Even my blood sugars are more stable. Thank you so very, very much.

Hi Sherry,

First of all I'd like to thank you for your website. I was supposed to be scheduled for surgery for my reoccurring diverticulitis. Before accepting an appointment I did a lot of research on the Internet. I was thrilled when I discovered your website and immediately began to follow your eating regimen. It made a lot of sense to me and had all the foods which I had already been eating but not in the combinations that you recommended.

Was I ever surprised to see the results of only a few changes! No more pain, I began to lose weight without trying and the numbers on my diabetes test kit keep going down. It seemed impossible that just the simple switching of the combinations would do all this. Now I have your books and am trying out more of your delicious recipes. I'm sharing my good news with all my family and friends. Thank you, thank you, and thank you.

Thanks again for the new me.

Sherry:

I've been following your program for the past 4 days or so. I noticed immediate results in my stomach pain. I'm taking medications for cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes. I want to beat them all! I can't wait to pass on the good news to family and friends.

Thanks so much for sharing your plan!

Dear Sherry,

My name is Karen. I am 62 years old. On December 1st, I was diagnosed with diverticulosis. My colonoscopy was 'clean' and that was a relief for me; however, the possibility of developing diverticulitis was a wake up call, so I went to the internet, found the GREAT TASTE NO PAIN... and, here I am...

I have been taking the purple pill now for 3 years, and not feeling very good about that. I am tired of pills! My goal now is to eliminate as many pills as possible. I do NOT want to spend my golden years with my prime social activities being medical appointments! And, more importantly, I want to feel better so I CAN enjoy life more fully!

Since beginning the GTNP plan, my weight has dropped 5 pounds (I'd like to drop 15 more), NO heart burn or acid reflux, I am sleeping better and LOVE the recipes. I have had sweating and a runny nose, and your explanation of that answered my question - I didn't think I had a cold or allergies! Guess I had a LOT of toxins to eliminate!

My husband has diabetes II and eating this way has benefited him also! He is NOT a bit overweight, so that is not an issue with him. He also took the purple pills. I'll keep you updated on his progress...

This healthy, common sense way of eating and staying more vital, at any age, is a life saver. Knowing that you have also consulted with experts in so many fields of nutrition and health, and are sharing that knowledge makes me feel confident that we CAN take control of our bodies by taking control of what we put into them! It gives a new meaning to, "Just say NO to drugs!"

Sincerely,

Karen
