I have been on your Great Taste No Pain plan for four days. I am already feeling much better. My diarrhea is all but gone, no stomach pain, no morning headaches and sleeping great now.
Thanks,

Hello Sherry,
A couple of years ago following a routine colonoscopy, I was told I had diverticular, and was asked if I experienced any pain. At the time I didn't and didn't think anything more about it until March this year, when suddenly after eating some meals I would experience pain of varying degrees, some quite excruciating.
And I realized here was the diverticulitis. After surfing the internet for several days I found your website, grateful thanks. And your email messages made me realize I had been experiencing symptoms of diverticulitis for several years, gas and quite regular diarrhea, however when the Dr spoke to me he only mentioned the pain, and advised the foods I should avoid, which are the foods I now enjoy, nuts, seeds, tomatoes, etc.
The pain was what spurred me on to surf the net, because I have always had an aversion to prescription medication, because I realized they were not always effective and had varying side affects. The information in your emails made so much sense; I ordered your Great Taste No Pain plan. The recipes I thought were great. I started on the plan and was relieved of the pain, plus the diarrhea and gas although not gone completely initially was reduced markedly.
I also had moderate to high blood pressure and borderline cholesterol which my Dr has been recommending I go on medication. My blood pressure is now normal as is my cholesterol, and I have lost around 8kg in weight. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank I am so grateful for my new lease on life.
Warm Regards
Margaret
Hi Sherry,
My name is Mick Elrod and I have Crohn's Disease. I had a perforated bowel
in Aug. of 2008 and had 8 inches of my intestines removed due to the
Crohn's.
Ever since the operation and hospital stay (15 days), I have had all kinds
of intestinal pain.
I ranged from constipation to diarrhea, along with bloating and gas. So I
was basically miserable from Aug. 2008 until Nov.5 2009. I couldn't go out
to eat or for that matter eat at home without fear of having an
""accident"" during the meal.
A few weeks ago I ordered the complete Great Taste No Pain package. What a bargain! After spending as much as $420 per month on medication that didn't work, I was
very pleased to find something that actually relieved my pain and embarrassment at a reasonable price.
My life changed dramatically! After the first day of the meals, I was feeling
better. For the past three weeks I have had no pain, gas, constipation, or
diarrhea. For the first time in over 15 months, I don't have war going on
in my intestines.
Oh, by the way, I have lost 5 pounds in the last 3 weeks.
I can't thank you enough for giving me my life back!
Warmly,
Mick Elrod

I am now 7 months on this way of eating not dieting by following your Great Taste No Pain plan!! I continue to feel great and have no reoccurrence of all those awful symptoms such as bloating, diarrhea, pain, sinus issues, hiatal hernia discomfort, and shortness of breath and am 20 lbs. lighter.
God bless you.

Hi Sherry,
I wanted to tell you my own story.
About a year ago, my 10-year-old daughter developed chronic diarrhea. We tried the BRAT diet, a lactose-free diet, and a gluten-free diet, but nothing helped. Over 3 months she lost 15% of her weight. Finally, a pediatric gastroenterologist did a colonoscopy and endoscopy and diagnosed her with ulcerative colitis. She was immediately put on steroids and Pentasa.
The steroids worked, but we couldn't get her off of them. The doctor’s prescribed stronger drugs - one landed her in the hospital with Pancreatitis, and the other caused severe nausea that made her throw up whenever she smelled or thought of food. I was talking with some friends at my church about this (about a month ago), and one lady mentioned that your Great Taste No Pain plan had helped her diverticulitis. I decided to try it.
I'm happy to report that my daughter is now drug-free. She has a good grasp of the food combining rules, and self-regulates what she eats.
Thanks for all you do!
Sincerely,
A grateful mom

Hi Sherry,
I have been on your Great Taste No Pain program for 3 weeks. On the first day I ate my
Egg Omelets for breakfast and continued with the menus as your book states. Even on the first day I felt No Hunger. I have my bowel movements normally and without pain. I was diagnosed with Diverticulosis like 20 years ago. I am 70 years old. I lost 4 lbs on the first week.
My only fear is that I will get careless and bored and go back to my old ways of eating, but I will try very hard not to. I was taking care of this problem with Dicyclomine, prescription for many years. It worked fairly well, but I had to really watch my body. If I took it every day, I would start diarrhea and it I didn't take it I would start getting constipated.
Thank You for your plan and your advice.

Hi Sherry,
I am lactose intolerant and a GERD sufferer. For 4 years I have been trying to outsmart my acid reflux. I gave up eating EVERYTHING I was told except for coffee and wine! I refused! That worked for 2 yrs. (medicated of course-with Omeprezole) Of course my symptoms would return on and off, then when they came back full force, I gave in and GAVE UP MY COFFEE!! All of a sudden I was able to stop taking medication. I was so happy. Although never would the gas and bloating leave me. I got used to it.
Last month I experienced daily diarrhea for 3 wks! I was getting really TIRED of this guessing game!! I had no new plan of attack, so I started thinking maybe something else was really wrong with me and I was blaming the reflux. I started looking up stomach ailments on web-m.d. and found your GREAT TASTE NO PAIN website and I thought "what could this possibly be"?
Well, the great taste no pain turned out to be the miracle plan of attack I was looking for! I am ecstatic! I cannot even remember of I EVER felt this good. Being lactose intolerant since age 17 (I am 41) has kept me consistently bloated and gassy. I couldn't remember what normalcy felt like.
The Great Taste No Pain plan explains everything and the section on "what to eat with what" is my new bible. I carry it around in my bag! It even has tips on what to drink with your meals. I appreciate the tip on when to drink wine! Thank you so much! I can look forward to Holidays instead of getting nervous.

Sherry,
I have had horrible stomach issues for years! I figured as a woman, bloating daily was normal. I would have constipation for days and the occasional diarrhea attach. The last episode lasted for 5 days in a row!! My Doctor prescribed me medication for constipation, acid reflux and then an anti-diarrheal pill.
I called in sick for the last time about a month ago, that morning I woke up and felt the need to find answers. I did an internet search on IBS. Your site was the first I looked at, and read your entire page. It was so similar to mine!! I have had EGD tests as well as colonoscopies and I am only 26!!! The only answer they had for me was IBS. Not good enough.. I didn't want a life of bondage.
So I tried your Great Taste No Pain plan, I have not felt so good in years. Your plan has changed me forever. I never thought it was possible to have a flat stomach all day long, even after eating. People look at me like I am a little nuts because I am 5'11 and 139 pounds and when I ask about nothing fried, and extra veggies they look at me like I think I am just a crazy skinny chick. It is fine by me!! I have not had this much energy in.. I can't remember how long. I have maintained this healthy weight for a while now and feel
great!!!
Thank you so much.. I have life back, I can go out to eat and actually have a good time. Not worrying about how soon I can get home and recuperate!!!!

Dear Sherry,
Thank you for all the work you have obviously put into helping others suffering with stomach and bowel problems. I have diverticulitis and was once more taking antibiotics and suddenly had another sudden bout of embarrassing diarrhea for the terrible pain and embarrassing bouts of sudden diarrhea I was experiencing, and it was having another sudden bout while taking these antibiotics that I decided to look on the internet to see what foods I should NOT BE EATING and I came upon your site. I am new to the computer as my son had recently given me his and at 73 years of age not exactly brilliant on it, but I must have asked the right question on the internet because I came upon
your site.
I was so surprised to find how much better I was after trying your Great Taste No Pain plan. I have told so many people that I am sure you must have had a lot more enquiries from Western Australia. My neighbor immediately took a copy for her nephew who has IBS. I am just about to email a relative in UK because her mother has diverticulitis and I understand is now on regular antibiotics because of her stomach pain. I must admit occasionally I have thought oh I will just divert from your plan and paid the price. I now know that your Great Taste No Pain plan is definitely the only way to go. Don't be surprises to get a request from Japan as my son is coming home on business next week, and after he sees how much better I am I am sure an order from Japan will be on the way.
I should have headed this letter THANK GOD MY SON GAVE ME HIS COMPUTER !!
REGARDS,
Joan
Hi Sherry,
I recently went through a bout of diarrhea for three weeks. I lost 18lbs in the first seven days. The pain, cramping, etc. My doctor said I had IBS and told me just to take Metamucil 3 times a day.
I made and appointment with a GI doctor and in the meantime found your Great Taste No Pain plan. The GI doctor said he didn't think I had IBS, but contacted some kind of a bug. He put me on antibiotics for 10 days. It totally helped, though the side effects were not fun.
I also decided to try your Great Taste No Pain eating plan. I thought it was going to be hard for me because I love to cook, create new recipes, bake and, of course, eat what I make. It was actually better, because I could follow your system and still create on my own. I feel so much better and confident that eating right will keep me this way.
