About an hour ago, I did an interview with a radio station
in St. Louis, MO.
The host (Steve) was quite a character and a lot of fun.
He asked about my history, so I explained how I suffered
daily from stomach agony (that my doctor labeled as IBS)
until I began eating the Great Taste No Pain way.
Then Steve asked me how Great Taste No Pain works, so I
told the story about what happens from "end to end" in your
body when you eat acid forming foods and those that don't
play nice with each other--from the mouth right down to
where the sun don't shine.
I said eating mis-matched foods causes your stomach to
squirt acid over and over like a fire hose. (He could just
about feel the acidy burps rising up at that point.)
I told him the nutrients in the food are obliterated by
all that excess acid, so even though you're stuffed full of
food, you end up hungry again an hour later because you
haven't been nourished. He blurted out, "Holy cow! So
that's why that happens to me!"
He was shocked to hear that nothing demands more energy by
the human body than digestion--not exercise, not seks,
nothing. That's why when your stomach is working
frantically releasing all that hydrochloric acid and pepsin
trying to digest poorly combined meals, you're searching
for a place to take a nap (or for a cup of coffee).
But I really wasn't expecting what followed.
When I got to the "lower end" of my story and talked about
waste from poorly digested food getting stuck in the colon
and how it can cause pain, constipation and flare-ups of
diverticulitis and Crohn's disease, Steve said, "Boy, I
understand that. I have Crohn's disease and it's no fun at
all."
Ahhh. A case study right at my fingertips.
As we spoke, he was thumbing through his Great Taste No
Pain manuals - www.greattastenopain.com/great.asp
and so every few minutes, I hear him gasp or let out a
"Holy cow" and "Oh, my gosh"... To say he was excited to
start using it would be a gross understatement.
So over the next couple weeks before my next appearance on
his show, he'll be eating great food and noting his changes.
How exciting for him...and many people in St. Louis.
So, Crohn's disease sufferers, it's time to rejoice. When
you eat the Great Taste No Pain way and your food digests
easily and thoroughly, everything passes smoothly through
your colon. That means those horrible, painful flare-ups
lessen or become non-existent. You'll feel a whole lot
better, need less medicine and have more energy for...well,
exercise or seks or just about anything else you want and
need to do.
