As I watched my son's karate class yesterday, it was
obvious to me which kids practice and which don't.
My son has a black belt mother so he practices every
week with me.
And it shows.
Mastering karate is nothing more than simple repetition of
basic techniques--the punches, kicks, stances and blocks.
There's really not much to it. It's not rocket science.
This is all it takes to create success. It makes a
martial artist out of someone who wants to "try karate."
And after enough repetition and success it becomes second
nature. A part of you. Who you are.
You might be thinking this email is about karate.
It's not.
Because repetition of the basics of ANYTHING creates
success. Sports, schoolwork, playing an instrument,
writing, reading, cooking, anything.
For example, Joe Montana is one of greatest quarterbacks
ever to lace up a pair of spikes. He didn't spend his
summers lounging on the beach (not ALL summer, at least).
No, he spent them throwing the same timing passes over and
over and over. Just basics.
Same goes when you follow what I teach in Great Taste No
Pain.
There are just a few basic principles that you've got to
follow in order to make all of your meals digest normally,
keep your pH normal and maintain a normal body size.
If you have ANY health problems, I'd bet you any amount of
money that you are acid, so these principles ARE going to
be a bit different from how you're used to eating now, but
they're simple.
And just like anything else, when you practice basic
techniques, you create success and it becomes easy.
Depending on what your particular dis-ease or problem is,
that can mean: The pain goes way down or completely
disappears. The acidy burps stop coming up. No more
constipation or diarrhea. Bloating becomes a thing of the
past. Fewer or no more attacks of diverticulitis or
Crohn's disease. Medication is needed less and less or not
at all.
Even surgery can be avoided!
Little baby steps taken long enough and it becomes who you
are.
And there are no worries about "falling off" your diet
because this isn't one.
Take control of your health. Master it. It's as easy as
1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3.
PS: Here's an ever-so-brief message that Margaret Price
wrote to a friend as she was telling them about me and
Great Taste No Pain:
"This woman is better than any doctor. It is working for
me-when I stick to it! Do read it all-it is a revelation!
