Yesterday morning I did an interview with a radio station
in Shreveport, LA.
The host, David (who happens to be a doctor), and I talked
about how hundreds of thousands of people are so used to
being sick that they just accept it as normal or inevitable.
They get so used to stomach aches, bloating, constipation
or acid rising up in their throats every day, it's seen as
normal.
It's not.
If you're getting symptoms like that, your body is telling
you something is wrong. It's yelling, actually.
Now, many people go to the doctor for answers to digestive
problems. But as David pointed out, most doctors are
"hammers"...and when you're a hammer, every problem is a
nail. And there are just two types of "hammers" in the
medical community--the prescription pad and the surgery
scalpel.
But there is another answer.
Listen to your body. If you're having digestive problems
(from either end) every day or even once a week, your food
is definitely to blame.
There are only two possible reasons: Either processed
foods or miscombinations of even the best foods.
When you eat a lot of alkaline-rich foods, ditch the
packaged stuff and correctly combine your meals for easy
digestion, your whole body responds like you won't believe.
Not only do your digestive symptoms greatly diminish or go
away, but you instantly have more energy because your body
isn't working so hard to digest your food anymore. No more
naps after eating. No afternoon coffee jolt needed.
You sleep better because you're not waking up at night
feeling like there's a three-alarm fire in your chest.
You can fight off infections and viruses better because
your body gets the benefit of all the vitamins and
nutrients in your food and can heal itself better.
You're hungry less often because your body is nourished
like it needs to be, so the hunger signal isn't triggered
until you truly need more nourishment. Less food = less of
you to love, if you know what I mean.
And for you halitosis sufferers, it also means no more bad
breath! When your body easily digests your foods and
cleans itself from the inside, there are no more foul
wastes inside you stinking up your breath. So you can
ditch the gum and mints and kiss your sweetie with
confidence.
These are just some of the fantastic changes you can see
when you stop letting yourself be a "nail" and instead take
responsibility for what you put in your mouth.
Think of how much better YOU can feel.
To your health,
Sherry

Away" shows you which foods are alkaline and which are acid-
creating so there's no guessing. And "What To Eat With
What" puts the perfect meal combinations at your
