I'm not one for tabloid news or watching the latest antics
of Britney, Paris or Lindsay, but I just heard an
interesting headline that perked my ears up.
Mariah Carey has lost 20 pounds and dropped 3 dress sizes.
She credits her eating habits more than anything for
taking the pounds off, and stressed that she has been "just
eating more healthy."
When I learned what she meant by that, I saw that she eats
the way I teach in Great Taste No Pain. Lots of healthy
alkaline foods in the correct combinations.
She did mention calorie counting too, which is not
stressed in Great Taste No Pain for good reason. When you
follow the simple guidelines of eating healthy foods with
the right other foods just until you're comfortably full,
calorie counting isn't necessary. The pounds will come off
easily and naturally because the body is being nourished as
it should be.
I could have saved Mariah some work in that regard!

First, let me tell you that I feel great. Your recipes
were very easy to follow without much work, and very good.
I love your recipe book.
Secondly, I started your program only because I got scare
after my Colonoscopy that I had Diverticulosis and Acid
reflux. Before starting your Great Taste No Pain I was
having a lot of gas (which I hated).
I have lost a few pounds, thanks to you. I thought I was
eating right, with all the fruits, grains, veggies that I
would consume each day. I exercise regularly, play golf,
and I do not smoke or drink (only occasionally). Just to
think--by just changing the combinations of foods what it
can do to your body.

I didn't believe you. It sounded too hokey, but we did
the 4 day trial. What a difference. No heartburn day 1
and 2 and 3. Yesterday I had only a little heartburn in the
