More on the battle of the bulge

Hello my friend:

Thanks to everyone for all the great feedback I received
from last Friday's email.  If you missed it, it was about
how Great Taste No Pain helps you lose excess pounds or
maintain a perfect bodyweight without counting calories.

Here's a great success story I just received this morning
from a client in South Africa who, despite eating what most
people would consider "healthy," was overweight and could
not take it off...until Great Taste No Pain:

Dear Sherry:

From my mid-thirties on, I weighed between 71 and 74kg
(156-163 lbs). This was serious, considering that even
after having my 3 children, I never gained weight.  I was
always slim.

I hated the way I looked with all the rolls of fat around
my stomach, back and other areas.  I exercised fairly
often, but that did not do anything for me in terms of
losing weight.

I also had problems with my digestive system, which I
could never figure out.  I ate mostly fruit every morning
until lunch time, drank water religiously, lots of herbal
tea, and ate lots of vegetables, so I really thought I ate
healthy.  So what the problem was, I could not figure out.

As a teenager I never got any breakouts, but in my
thirties, I started getting bad skin.  For the first time
in my life, I needed to go for facials every month, but
that never solved my problems.

Last year, an elderly beautician told me that my problem
was due to digestion, but she could not explain why
digestion was the problem.  So I could not solve anything.

When I finally came across your Great Taste No Pain way of
life, I could see that every night I was having bad
combinations of food.  So in the morning, I felt bad, my
stomach was full, my breath was bad, gas was a big problem
(frequent and stinky), and I was always constipated.

I converted to your way of life in January 2008.  I
started to lose weight, and have continued to do so.  Now I
weigh 64kg (140 lbs).  Everybody at work says I look too
skinny, and should stop the 'diet'.  Well, I suppose I
should buy new clothes, instead of changing my lifestyle.

I love my lifestyle, and those great recipes in your Great
Taste No Pain cookbook.  For a long time I never bothered
with cooking, my daughters did it for me.  Now, every
weekend I go shopping for all those wonderful vegetables
and fruits, (South Africa has plenty of these every season)
and I cook.  I am loving it!!

I must say that at 45 going on 46 years old, I look and
feel great, and my skin has improved.

Now I am trying to convert everyone to this way of life.

Thanks.

Sherry:  Sipiwe, I have news for you:  Your co-workers are
jealous!  You go right ahead and stick to your new
lifestyle and buy those new clothes--you deserve them.
Best wishes--please keep me posted on your continued success.

You could easily spend thousands of dollars trying to take
off pounds--with club memberships, doctor's visits, drugs,
supplements, meal replacement shakes, special foods--and
still watch in frustration as the scale number goes up, up,
up.

Do the one thing that works naturally with the way your
body was designed by nature--eat the Great Taste No Pain
way.  The excess pounds come off easily and they don't come
back.

To your health,

PS:  Here's a great way to enjoy an abundant summer
vegetable--green and yellow squash:

Summer Squash Sauté Serves: 3-4

3 small zucchini squash
3 small yellow squash
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
1/3 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt

Wash squashes and slice into 1/4" rounds.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.  Sauté
garlic briefly until fragrant but now browned.

Add squash slice and salt and sauté until crisp-tender,
being careful not to overcook, as the squash can quickly
turn mushy.

Remove from heat and transfer to serving bowl.  Toss with
cheese (if you are allergic or don't do dairy at all, soy
cheese is a great substitute) and sprinkle with bread
crumbs.  Serve at once.

Note:  Leftovers are delicious additions to omelets.
