A form of holistic therapy that continues to gain
popularity today is a colon cleanse.
It's not surprising.
You see, before WWII, people's meals were simple, made
from REAL food, and were, on average, a whole lot healthier
than today, so there was little need for much more than an
rare warm water enema or an OTC laxative if things got
"blocked up."
But now that many people's colons have as much waste build-
up as a sewage treatment plant thanks to today's new-
fangled designer foods, people are doing colon cleanses
almost as often as changing their clothes. It's chic.
"Indulge in a day of luxury--a facial, a body wrap and a
colon cleanse" is what the ads are likely to say in the
near future.
In the last few months, hundreds of people have asked my
opinion of colon cleanses.
So here it is.
It's essential to keep your colon clean and be rid of any
built-up wastes. Because among other things, waste build-up:
* Adds pounds
* Causes constipation and pain
* Can damage the colon wall (and lead to diverticulosis,
diverticulitis and Crohn's flare-ups)
* Creates a virtual breeding ground for toxins and harmful
bacteria which can lead to a variety of diseases
Colon cleanses are extremely effective in getting rid of
waste build-up, so they have a lot of merit. However, when
you are doing a colon cleanse, when nature calls (and it
will call a LOT), you better make sure you've got a clear
path to the bathroom at all times. 'Cause I guarantee you
WILL want to run over anyone that gets in between you and
the WC.
If you aren't lucky and something or someone does get in
your way, you better pray that you have a change of clothes
nearby.
Because you'll never live that scene down...
But the most important thing to remember is that you
shouldn't eat in a way that causes waste build-up to begin
with.
You see, eating in any way that creates more acid
digestive juices and which goes against what I teach in
Great Taste No Pain is harmful to the body - 24/7. With
each mouthful at each meal on each day, your energy and
your overall health is compromised.
Acid builds up. Cellular energy plummets. Aches and
pains start. And the perfect recipe for disease is
simmering.
So you can't just rely on an occasional colon cleanse to
"make things better." Sure, your colon will be cleaner,
but the damage will already have been done.
It's kind of like a schmoker who quits schmoking after
being diagnosed with emphysema. There's no more smoke
getting sucked into the body, but the damage has already
been done. And it's too late.
The bottom line is this: If you've ever done a colon
cleanse and it temporily helped with the pressure, that's
fine. That's all it's meant to do. Colon cleanses are not
preventative. They don't cure anything. And they're just
a prepatory step.
The next, more important step is to keep your colon clean
for life.
If you want to have easy digestion from "end to end" and
stay squeaky clean, Great Taste No Pain gives you all you
need to know. It's easy. It's delicious. And it will get
you on and keep you on the road to good health. Get it now

PS: Last year I had a colonoscopy as part of a routine
physical exam. The doctor was totally amazed that my 45
year-old colon was so clean and healthy. "... like a
healthy 20-year old" was the exact quote.
