That question comes at a great time because we've also
gotten a bunch of questions from clients asking about
diabetes recently.
Great Taste No Pain can be a HUGE help to people with
diabetes.
Let me give you a quick lesson on diabetes to show you why.
After digestion, glucose from our food gets absorbed into
the bloodstream. Glucose is our primary fuel and is needed
for cell growth and energy.
In order for the glucose to get into our cells, it needs
insulin from the pancreas. But in people with diabetes,
the pancreas makes little or no insulin, or the cells don't
react the way they should to the insulin and don't absorb
the glucose.
So instead of being used by the cells that need it, the
glucose builds up in the blood, is filtered through the
kidneys into the urine, and passes out of the body.
That's what the expression "spilling sugar" means.
People who have diabetes are at a disadvantage from the
very start. Their pancreas is not working properly and
their kidneys are getting overstressed from filtering out
all that built-up glucose. (That's one of the reasons many
diabetics end up on dialysis.)
What makes this whole scene even worse is when a diabetic
also has too an acid pH. And most do.
============
The Pancreas
============
Your pancreas absolutely cannot function correctly when
you're too acidic--it MUST have an alkaline environment.
So for someone with the pancreatic challenges of diabetes,
being acidic on top of that is like putting kerosene on a
roaring forest fire.
===========
The Kidneys
===========
The kidneys create urine and help get rid of excess acid
from the body. About one liter of blood passes through
them every single minute.
If your blood is too acidic and toxic, your kidneys are
over-stressed and unable to do their job.
Add to that the stress of filtering out the excess glucose
with diabetes and you're risking kidney failure.
============
No Nutrients
============
A diabetic isn't absorbing the glucose they need to keep
their cells healthy and working properly, and this opens
the door for other problems or diseases to develop.
When you have an acid pH on top of that, your body can't
heal itself or effectively use vitamins and minerals--and
that's even more detrimental to someone with the challenges
of diabetes.
That's why diabetics have to watch their diet so
closely.
Because not only do they have trouble using nutrients from
good foods, but an acidic diet can be positively deadly.
So it's essential that diabetics eat an abundance of
nutrient-rich, alkaline foods and properly combine their
foods like I teach in Great Taste No Pain
- http://www.greattastenopain.com/great.asp
It will keep stomach acid low and help to restore and
maintain an alkaline pH.
If you have diabetes, doing what I'm telling you to do
will give your body a fighting chance against the
challenges it faces.
And if you want to PREVENT developing type II diabetes (or
the many other diseases associated with acidity), it's time
to get at and stay at an alkaline pH.
PS: Great Taste No Pain has helped Audrey's daughter get
her life back:

Hi Sherry:
Thank you, you my hero! I always said what we eat is what
make us tick!
Out of desperation I was surfing the net and stumbled upon
your site, I thank the Lord every night!
My daughter, Natali (14), has been diagnosed with: severe
depression, peptic ulcers, IBS, sinusitis and epilepsy in
the past year! She attends only 2-3 days of school a week
because she's been too sick with tummy aches, migraines,
nausea, sore throat etc. and is forever miserable!
She's on your 4 day "no pain" plan and has attended school
this whole week, she is positive about life and I heard her
laugh for the first time in ages!
Thank you for giving my daughter back and saving her life!
