If you know anything about diverticulitis, you know that
attacks are excruciatingly painful.
They've been compared to childbirth, kidney stones, and
being stabbed with a long knife repeatedly in the gut.
And the scariest thing about them is that they can strike
at any moment--there's usually no warning.
I wrote an article on diverticulitis once where I compared
an attack to a car wreck--it just came out of nowhere and
BAM! A lot of diverticulitis sufferers identified with
that analogy.

Now, before I proceed, for the benefit of those who don't
know what diverticulitis is, I'll explain it briefly:
DiverticuLITIS starts out as diverticuLOSIS.
DiverticuLOSIS occurs when your colon muscles get strained
from trying to move along wastes that are too dry and hard.
So you end up getting bulges in your colon wall, just like
potholes in a road.
DiverticuLITIS is when one or more of your "potholes" gets
infected and inflamed. That's when you get the mindblowing
pain and usually end up in the hospital.

Pain isn't the only discomfort with this horrible
condition.
It can cause discharge, lack of bowel control, bleeding
and a major negative impact on your quality of life.
Grant knows very well what that was like, because that's
the life he lived for a while...until he discovered Great
Taste No Pain http://www.greattastenopain.com/great.asp
See what he says:

Hi Sherry,
I am at the point with my conscience where I should
briefly share my story for the help of others as I have had
so much encouragement from your daily letters.
Forgive me if this is a little graphic at some points.
In May/June this year, I was sent for a colonoscopy as a
cancer investigation to a set of symptoms--bleeding,
continual discharge/seepage, cramps, irregular tummy and
generally a life of discomfort with trousers continually
stuffed full of toilet paper.
It got so bad at one point my Wife suggested using
sanitary towels - Heaven forbid! Every outing was routed
from toilet to toilet, which was incredibly uncomfortable
as I travel a lot, internationally on business.
My Doctor was very worried, and behind my back, the staff
nurses at the surgery started to prepare my Wife for the
worst!
Thank the Good Lord it was not cancer, but Diverticular
disease. When I visited my Doctor after the testing, I was
basically ignored and very little advice was given. They
were just relieved that it was not cancer.
Six weeks later, in mid air, half way to Dubai from London
- WHAM - "the car smash" (like you described it). The pain
was incredible, straight into hospital I went, and the
first ER Doctor had no idea what was wrong.
24 hours later I was taken by ambulance to another
hospital, where the ER Doctor knew instantly what it was.
I was given pain meds and antibiotics and left a few days
later after a follow up colonoscopy confirmed it was
diverticulitis.
My Wife, who was in London, started hunting the internet
for some idea of what we were handling, and thankfully
found your plan.
Being away, I was unable to do much, but I followed some
of the very basic rules that my Wife gave me.
Not only did ALL of the "cancer symptoms" gradually stop,
but I recovered, and best of all I started to drop my
weight. I was at 131 Kgs (288 pounds), far too much for a
5'9" tall man, having been overweight for years.
When I got home, your books arrived, I took advantage of
the second book special offer, so one stays in our kitchen,
and one in my brief case! Eating out now, I look at my old
favorites and remember the pain they caused, so it's easy
now to turn away from them!
God Bless you for the wonderful work you have done and are
doing. It's amazing how many people identify with it when
they ask me what I had, and we send each and every one to
your website.
The cost of your publications was miniscule compared to
the hospital cost, and at least my life is now continually
changing for the better, and hopefully I will not have
another "car wreck."
Most sincerely appreciated.
Kind Regards
Grant D.

SB: Grant, you're welcome. It's amazing how quickly the
body responds when you feed it properly, as you learn in
Great Taste No Pain.
I commend you for carrying around the GTNP book in your
briefcase--now that's dedication to feeling great!
=====
Back to the rest of you: Grant discovered that when you
eat foods that are compatible in the stomach like I teach
in Great Taste No Pain http://www.greattastenopain.com/great.asp your digestion is
easy and comfortable, and so is the rest of your food's
"journey" through the intestines.
When your wastes glide nice and easy through the
intestines (instead of getting hard, dry and stuck),
there's no straining...and so those diverticulosis
"potholes" won't form.
And any existing "potholes" you might have are FAR less
likely to get infected and become diverticulitis.
It's simple.
See for yourself.
To your health,
Sherry Brescia
PS: Maria and her husband are amazed at her results with
Great Taste No Pain:

Hi Sherry:
Yes I have followed your plan and have had no pain in the
2 weeks since I started.
I suffered daily with pain, constipation and heartburn. I
was so depressed and afraid to go anywhere. The fear of
not knowing when the pain would hit was paralyzing.
I cried a lot and some days just didn't know how I could
face another day of such terrible pain and bloating.
The doctors diagnosed me with IBS after many tests. They
told me there was nothing they could do and that I would
have to learn to live with it. Easy for them to say!
My husband can't believe the difference since I started
your plan. He asks me almost everyday how I'm doing and he
is delighted to see the difference in me.
This problem also affected him and he hated seeing me in
pain every day and felt so helpless. He now supports my
new way of eating and is thrilled to see the difference in
me.
