Gallbladder and Appendix - unnecessary?

In the last two weeks, I've seen no less than 5 emails
from people who said they thought their stomach troubles
would end once they had their gallbladder out, but they
were wrong--things got worse.

For a very good reason.

Contrary to what many people believe, the gallbladder is
not an unnecessary organ that serves no purpose and causes
digestive problems for no good reason.

Bile, (an alkaline liquid that aids in absorption and
digestion) is secreted by the liver and stored in the
gallbladder until it's needed in digestion.  When fat is
eaten, this stimulates the gallbladder to contract and
release bile into the small intestine to break down the fat.

In addition to being a storage area for bile, the
gallbladder also concentrates the bile from the liver by
removing water through its wall like a sponge.

So if the gallbladder is removed, although bile can still
flow into the intestine from the liver, fat digestion is
less efficient because the bile isn't as concentrated.

Mistake of nature?  I think not.

The most common reason for a cholecystectomy (removal of
the gallbladder) is gallstones.

Gallstones are the result of cholesterol build up from
eating animal protein and not getting enough alkaline
forming foods.

(Hmmm.  Yet another way our bodies try to gently tell us
how to eat.  We need to listen better.)

So, removal of the gallbladder is just the beginning of
digestive problems.

Once the gallbladder is gone, it's harder to digest fats.

And if your eating habits haven't changed from what caused
the gallstones to begin with, you're opening yourself up
for a wide variety of health challenges including:

1.  High blood cholesterol
2.  Arthritis
3.  Osteoporosis
4.  Heart disease
5.  High blood pressure (hypertension)
6.  Cancer
7.  Diabetes
8.  Diverticulitis
9.  Colitis

...and many more.

Nice, huh?

Because of a doctor that either doesn't know or doesn't
care about the consequences of telling someone that their
gallbladder doesn't do anything and a medical community so
addicted to the billions of dollars that drugs and
surgeries bring in that they preach this like they truly
believe it.  Scary.

"...to do no harm" got thrown by the wayside long ago.

This is yet another great reason to eat how I teach in
Great Taste No Pain.

To keep yourself out of harm's way.

Great Taste No Pain stresses eating delicious alkaline
forming foods, and teaches you how to eat meat or other
animal protein to minimize its harmful effects.

That will help keep your blood cholesterol lower, and make
for a healthier gallbladder.

The appendix is another organ that is considered a mistake
of nature by most of the medical community.

Wrong again.

By now, are you still surprised?

The appendix is strategically placed at the part of the
colon (large intestine) where the small intestine empties
into it.

The appendix generates and secretes a powerful substance
to neutralize and remove any residue from the colon that
may become impacted and inflamed.

Does that sound like a mistake to you?

Considering the acidic diets that most people have today
that result in bad digestion and waste build-up in the
colon, the appendix is anything but useless.

The main reason for appendix removal is appendicitis.

Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix which is
caused by wastes that get stuck or an infection.

It can sometimes be treated with antibiotics and rest, but
if that doesn't work--snip, snip, out it comes.

But again, the problems will continue.

If someone eats in a way that causes poor digestion and
waste build up, or if their diet is so acidic that they're
susceptible to infections, its only a matter of time before
something else happens like diverticulitis, colitis, IBS,
or heaven forbid, colon cancer.

That's why eating correctly combined, low acid meals like
I show you in Great Taste No Pain is essential.

Easy, complete digestion of your foods means less chance
of waste build-up in your colon.

Plus when your pH is alkaline, your body can fight and
resist infections better in all areas of the body.

Sounds like a healthy appendix to me.

Remember, there are no mistakes of nature.  Our bodies
were designed very carefully by the man above and no part
of them is useless, regardless of what your surgeon might
say to you.

Remember, those surgeons make a whole lot of dough by snip-
snipping things out of you.  No snip, no revenue.

Take care of your body by eating the right way, and you'll
get to keep all of your precious organs.

To your health,

Sherry Brescia

PS:  Kathy's mom has had an incredible turnaround in her

My Mom had a major surgery over 40 years ago and was just
told recently  by her doctor that the surgery has come
undone and her pain is from the original hiatal hernia.

Because of her age (81), she could not have the surgery
again.  She has been in incredible pain and went down from
125 to 111.

The doctor told her she would have to live with the pain.

I found your website on Thanksgiving Day of 2008 and
signed up to receive your plan.

Thanksgiving Eve I started her on the plan.  The next day
I called her and she could not even get dressed and said it
was not working.

I picked her up, brought her to my house along with the
plan and bought and cooked her the foods.  I cooked her the
yummy potato carrot soup and she loved it.  By the end of
the afternoon she was feeling better and had more strength.

She kept dropping weight and wanted to get off of it.  I
encouraged her to stick with it and called and talked to
your office.  Your office explained that she was detoxing
her body and once that was done, she would not lose any

That is exactly what happened.

She just completed thirty days and her weight is up to
119.  She is eating in the correct categories.  She carries
the dining out card in her purse and is now planning her
own meals.

She is looking forward to each meal, is using your recipes
and eating fresh fruits without a problem.

This way of eating has changed her life.  Her immune
system has improved and she is enjoying life.

This is a woman that was ready to be taken to ER and now
her body is healing.  I highly recommend this plan.

Thank you - This was the best Christmas present and a
awesome way to begin the new year.
