You're officially one week into your New Years
resolutions. If you have any, I trust you are still going
strong.
And I certainly hope you've made some health-related ones.
Many people make a resolution to take off pounds, and can
you ever tell. Magazines, newspapers and the web are
flooded with suggestions on how to take off 10 pounds, how
to drop two sizes, eat this-not that, etc.
The people who make those suggestions have good
intentions, but most of them are destined to fail.
I'll tell you why:
Because most diet advice completely ignores the single most
important number in weight loss.
It's not pounds.
It's not your pant size.
It's not calories, fat grams, or carb counts.
It's not running, aerobics or weight training.
It's your pH.
Yes, your acid/alkaline balance is the single biggest
factor in determining how successful you will be in
attaining and maintaining a normal bodyweight.
You could work out for hours a day, you could eat next
to nothing, and you could still find it hard to attain and
maintain a normal weight. And many people do!
Here's why:
The single biggest cause of an acidic pH is eating too
many acid-forming foods and acid-creating food
combinations, and not eating the appropriate amount of
alkaline forming foods.
Not only does eating this way throw your pH out of whack,
but it also destroys digestion and creates a double-edged
sword that leads to obesity.
The first side of the sword is you end up with badly
digested food being forced into the intestines. It's as if
the stomach, tired from secreting acid over and over, says,
"Here--you take this mess for a while."
And that "mess" of partially digested food doesn't glide
through the intestines like it should.
This results in wastes building up in your colon...and you
packing on the pounds.
And here's the other side of that double-edged sword: The
overproduction of acid in your stomach destroys all or most
of the nutrients in your food.
Your body's hunger signal is triggered by a need for
nutrients from food--not the physical presence of food
itself.
If you're not deriving nourishment (nutrients) from your
food, you'll feel hungry again shortly after you eat, even
though your stomach may still be literally stuffed.
This leads to a wide backside.
Here's yet another way being acidic puts on the saddle
bags:
Your body uses fat as a buffer against acid.
Did you know that?
You see, your fat cells help to prevent acid from scouring
your arteries and damaging your cells, tissues and organs.
So the more acidic your diet is, the more your body will
go into protection mode, and pack on the fat to protect you
from that acid.
And of course, let's not forget the obvious here: Common
acid forming foods found in 98% of the average person's
diet are nutritionally devoid and LOADED with calories.
So, if you REALLY want to be successful with your weight
loss resolutions, get an alkaline pH. You can do that
with Great Taste No Pain.

When you do what I teach you to do, your body will cleanse
itself of built-up wastes. Digestion will be a breeze, and
since you'll be getting nourishment from your foods, you
won't be hungry shortly after eating.
Your body won't have the need to store fat cells to
protect you against acid any more.
Many GTNP clients who had extra girth report that they
can't believe how easy and fast it began coming off,
without even trying.
Even though, Great Taste No Pain was not designed for
weight loss, the science shows that it is effective (when
there is extra to lose) and thus my strong feeling is that
if you want to get to a normal weight, learn what I'm
teaching, get your pH in balance, and then whatever other
"diet" measures you are taking, they will be infinitely
more effective.

PS: Laurie is no longer suffering from diverticulitis,
and her husband has dropped 4 pounds:
*******************
Hi Sherry!
I want to thank you for "Great Taste No Pain."
I have suffered with bouts of diverticulitis for the past
four years. The doctor simply gave me antibiotics and
said, "Keep things moving and when it gets really bad we'll
do surgery."
"The hell we will," I thought, and then I found you!
I am soooo excited to report, after two weeks of correct
combining with your delicious recipes that I am pain free
and things are moving very well!
I also need to add that my husband is enjoying this new
way of eating and has lost four pounds with more to come!
So my hats off to you!
I wish more of the medical profession would treat the
whole person instead of just the symptom.
Again I thank you and my digestive system thanks you,
