If you've been a subscriber for long, you know that I am
a big football fan. All 115 lbs of me. Last night the
Steelers-Ravens game was outstanding. A battle.
It made me think of the Charlie Daniels' song "In America"
where he sings, "You just go and lay your hand on a
Pittsburgh Steelers fan and I think you're gonna finally
understand."
Even if you're not a football fan (or a Steelers fan),
there's no denying that they played their butts off.
Especially Troy Polamalu.
Attacking Baltimore's receivers like a lion. Doing
whatever it took on each play.
Why?
Because he knows that when you do what you must, good
things will happen. He knows his efforts will help spell
S-U-C-C-E-S-S.
So the work is not drudgery for him--he's having a ball.
The same can be said for eating right.
When you consistently eat healthy alkaline foods in the
right combinations like I teach, you get results.
Acidity in your body goes way down. Energy goes way up.
Symptoms of acid reflux, hiatal hernia and ulcers
disappear. You become more "regular." Diverticulitis,
Crohn's and colitis flare ups decrease or go away entirely.
You lose excess poundage.
Now, notice I said "consistently."
Some clients have written to us saying "I tried your plan
for a couple days but I still have some acid reflux" or "I
followed your plan 'almost' to the T but I still have pain"
or "I can't possibly eat all the things you suggest."
Food is like any other addiction. When you crave certain
foods and drinks, it's becomes hard to change, no matter
how much it makes you suffer.
You can't possibly "try eating right for a few days" or
"eat right 'almost' all the time" ignoring rules for proper
digestion and expect stellar results. 'Tain't gonna happen.
That's about as ridiculous as if Troy Polamalu skipped
practice or only gave a half-hearted effort when tackling
opposing receivers and expected to win championships.
If you want results, you must commit to it.
Excuses or giving up will get you what you've always
gotten--pain, excess weight, and a never-ending ride on the
white coat treadmill (seeing doctor after doctor and
getting drug after drug).
But if you commit yourself to doing this one easy thing--
and I DO make it easy (and delicious) for you--you WILL see
results.
Then you'll feel excited. A fire will be lit. You'll
experience all the benefits and you'll never want to live
any differently.
You'll smile as people comment about how good you look.
You'll love waking up each day and enjoying every meal pain-
free. No more avoiding restaurants or dining out with
friends.
You'll feel refreshed from sleeping soundly all night
(with no acid rising up in your throat), plus will have
more energy throughout the day.
Those "skinny clothes" in the back of your closet will
make a reappearance--and look GREAT on you.
You'll rejoice as you reduce and even eliminate your need
for medications.
You'll save tons of money on doctor visit co-pays, drugs,
and the expensive processed junk you used to buy in the
grocery store.
And like Troy Polamalu plays football, you'll LOVE the
whole process.
PS: Great Taste No Pain has been the answer to Dorothy's
prayers:

Dear Sherry,
I am so thankful that I found you on the internet on Sat.
the 10 of January.
I was in such pain and misery, but knew that to go to the
doctor and take all the test that they give you with these
symptoms, I needed to find another answer.
I started my new way of eating that day and by the next
day, I had no pain in my stomach and my time spent in the
bathroom was greatly cut down.
After this length of time I am so amazed that I am almost
like a normal person. I have so much more energy, and am
not having to take that nap every day.
It is wonderful to feel that you can live a normal life.
I am praising the Lord for using you to help so many
people.
