Unless you've been living under a rock the past 72 hours,
you've no doubt heard the Olympic record-breaking swimmer
Michael Phelps is in a whole lot of water...hot water, that
is.
Caught on film smoking pot just a mere couple of months
after the 8 gold medallions hung proudly around his neck.
Michael Phelps is a role model for mil-lions, especially
children. Now his status has taken a big hit (no pun
intended). After all, you can't blame parents for not
wanting their kids to emulate someone caught with his mouth
on a bong.
But... at the same time, you have to remember he's only 23
years old, world record-breaker or not.
Let's be honest--a whole lot of people have at least
experimented with drugs in high school and college.
Even our new president admits to drug experimentation as a
youth (and yes, he did inhale, unlike his predecessor).
But besides what it's doing to Michael's status as a role
model (and how it still may jeopardize his sponsorship
contracts), there is one VERY deadly consequence to
smoking ganja...
What it's doing to that athlete's body of his.
Use of marijuana and other drugs (including cocaine, crack
and heroin) is extremely acid-forming in the body and
obliterates the immune system.
Marijuana alone so incapacitates the adrenal glands and
the entire immune system that even if it's only used once a
month, you destroy your chances of having any level of good
health.
It speeds up heartbeat as much as 50%, increases blood
pressure, and poses great risk to those at already elevated
risks of hypertension and heart disease.
The smoke from marijuana contains more cancer-causing
agents than tobacco smoke. Someone who smokes 1 to 3
joints can produce the same lung damage and cancer risk as
smoking five times as many cigarettes.
Marijuana accumulates in the microscopic spaces between
nerve cells in the brain called "synapses." This clogging
interferes by slowing and impairing the transfer of
critical information in the brain.
Long term use causes the brain to stop production of the
chemicals necessary to "feel good." This causes you to
become chemically addicted to marijuana.
The short-term acid-forming "high" you get from marijuana
actually unravels your DNA. So you literally are causing
permanent damage and losing a part of who you are (and your
short-term memory) with every single hit.
Bottom line is: Getting high makes you die faster and
before you do, it literally makes you stupid.
Here's some good advice for Michael Phelps (and everyone
else who thinks a little hooch now and then isn't so bad):
Get off the stuff now.
It typically takes at least a year for the body to repair
itself from the acidity onslaught from marijuana use.
Plus the tissues must cleanse themselves from storing THC
(the active compound in marijuana) and the immune system
must rebuild itself--no simple task.
During this time, it's essential to have at least 80%
alkaline foods, correctly combine all of your meals, and
drink lots of alkaline water.
You'll learn exactly what foods are acidic and which are
alkaline, how to test your pH, and how to perfectly combine
each and every meal to keep stomach acid low.
Great Taste No Pain is well known for the thousands of
people it has helped to overcome digestive challenges.
Becoming and staying alkaline is important for everyone--
stomach problems or not.
And it's crucial for anyone with any history of drug use
to give their body a fighting chance at healing and repair
of the immune system.

PS: Louisa was skeptical at first, but became a believer
one day later:

Hi Sherry:
I have suffered from stomach problems for forty years.
You are correct--doctors are no help at all.
I came across your offer for a four-day trial for pain
free eating. I was skeptical--unfortunately, the way the
world is today many of us do not trust people we do not
know.
In one day my problems were solved. I ordered your
complete plan the next morning.
To me this system is a miracle. Following it has not been
a problem for me.
