What to eat during pregnancy

Recently we've gotten a lot of questions asking if Great
Taste No Pain is safe for pregnant women.

Answer:  A resounding YES.

It's not only safe, but the BEST way for women in the
family way to eat.

Here's why:

When a woman is carrying a child, she must nourish not
only her own body but her developing baby as well.  The
child's life and health literally depend on nutrients that
are passed from Mom to baby.

Getting maximum nutrients from foods is one of the primary
benefits of Great Taste No Pain.

GTNP teaches you to what to eat in order to get
nutritious, low acid foods in the perfect combinations.  By
keeping stomach acid low, more of the naturally occurring
nutrients in the foods are preserved and absorbed by the
body.

More nutrients absorbed means more for both Mom and baby.

Plus, GTNP shows you how to avoid empty calories that pack
on a whole lot of extra pounds that a pregnant woman
already struggling with weight gain doesn't need.

In GTNP I also show you how to achieve a more alkaline pH,
which is absolutely vital during pregnancy.

When your pH is acidic, that means there's acid in your
bloodstream too, and that acid is carried throughout your
body to your tissues, organs, bones and joints.

Well, if you're pregnant and there's acid in YOUR
bloodstream, guess who else has acid in theirs?  That's
right--your baby.

Your baby is starting life with sickness-causing,
inflammation-inducing blood coursing through its veins.
Not a pleasant thought, is it?

Another reason you want to reduce acid/stay alkaline when
expecting is the amount of energy it gives you.

Far and away, the single most energy-demanding activity
the body has is digestion.  Nothing else comes close to
taxing our energy supply like digestion--not even exercise
or sex, believe it or not.

But with GTNP, since you're no longer eating acid-forming,
poorly combined meals, your body isn't using up so much
energy in digestion.

That means much more precious energy for you during
pregnancy--a time in which your energy is greatly
challenged by the demands on your body from the developing
baby.

And probably the biggest concern of all for pregnant
women:  How will I lose the excess pounds once the baby is
born?

With Great Taste No Pain, it's easy.

First of all, if you eat the GTNP way all through
pregnancy, chances are you'll put on far fewer pounds that
you otherwise would have to begin with.

And if you continue eating mainly alkaline forming foods
in good combinations after delivery (preferably for life),
your body will continue to cleanse itself and eventually
adjust itself to a lower normal weight for you.

That's the beauty of eating this way--there is no dieting
necessary.  The body knows when it's at a normal weight,
and when its fed like it should be needs to be fed, it
reaches and maintains a healthy weight automatically.

I'm living proof of this.  Within three weeks of having my
son, I was back in my size 2 shorts.  Plus, I've maintained
an average weight of 115 for the last 17 years with no
dieting or starving whatsoever.

So to all of you who have asked recently (and others who
may be wondering):  If you're pregnant, know someone who is
pregnant or are considering becoming pregnant, it is not
only safe, but vital for the health of both Mom and baby to
eat exactly the way I show you in Great Taste No Pain.

PS:  Margie has had a great start to this new year--relief
from colitis:

*******************

Sherry, Happy New Year!

I can't tell you how happy mine has been.  I have been
using the GTNP method since the week prior to Christmas.

Before that I had spent a week in the hospital and didn't
know how I was going to get through the holidays.  I had
not purchased a single present for my kids the week before
Christmas.

After being diagnosed with colitis my Gastro just told me
to try to introduce foods into my diet to see what I could
eat.

Well, needless to say, I would find out the hard way what
would not work.  So I decided to use the world wide web to
find a colitis diet and it was like a Christmas miracle
that I found you.

In two days I was pain free.  I felt good enough to go out
and get all my shopping done.  Sherry, I sat with my family
on Christmas Eve with all my presents wrapped, my
traditional Christmas Eve party set up with all the correct
meal combinations and I even got to have a little vodka
punch from your recipe book.  I thought I would never be
able to have another cocktail again.

It's now January 21st and I have been pain free for over a
month and the super bonus is that I have lost 15 pounds.
Last week I even got on the treadmill again.

It is truly a new day!  I can't thank you enough.  You
have changed my life!
