Farrah Fawcett was an unquestionable icon with the
Pepsodent smile and the hair that EVERY woman wanted.
But she died tragically because of something NO woman (or
man) wants--anal cancer that had spread to her liver.
If there's one positive thing to come out of this sad
story, it's a hope that people will realize if it can
happen to someone like Farrah Fawcett, it can happen to you
too.
So NOW is always the time to do something about cancer
prevention--before it's too late.
It's a well-known fact that eating fiber-rich fresh
fruits, vegetables and whole grains helps to prevent cancer
in the lower digestive tract (the colon, rectum and anus).
Also, keeping your body alkaline by eating at least 60%
alkaline foods and drinking the appropriate amount of water
is crucial. Cancer cannot exist in an alkaline
environment, but thrives in an acidic one.
But there's something else you can do...
Take probiotics.
That's right.
A study conducted by Irish scientists and published in
Alimentary Pharmacology and Therapeutics suggests that
probiotics can help prevent cancer in the lower digestive
tract.
The scientists used genetically engineered mice who were
bred to be vulnerable to developing inflammatory bowel
disease and cancer. Half of the mice were given probiotics
in their milk and the other half drank ordinary milk.
Half (50%) of the mice in the ordinary milk group
developed colorectal cancer, which was typical for that
type of "cancer-bred" mouse.
But here's the shocker: Only 10% of the mice that drank
the probiotics developed cancer.
Plus, throughout the entire study the probiotic mice
showed significantly less intestinal inflammation than the
mice who had the ordinary milk.
Research aside, when you think about it, it makes sense.
Because good bacteria in your gut help to destroy
dangerous pathogens and invaders. They neutralize the
toxins and carcinogens (cancer causers) that you ingest
through food and drinks. And they protect the "gut
barrier" that keeps dangerous pathogens from seeping
through the intestinal wall into your blood system (and
infecting your other organs and body parts).
So it's not hard to see that when these important good
bacteria are overrun by bad bacteria, they can't do their
job--and you are more susceptible to illness and disease,
including cancer.
Now is the time to declare your personal "war on cancer"--
BEFORE it happens to you. Prevention is the key.
Let Super Shield help keep your population of good
bacteria strong and healthy to help fight against cancer
and other dreaded diseases. Just one a day is all it
takes.
