A glimmer of hope for Crohn's and colitis sufferers

Let's play a little "imagine it" game today.

Imagine your body begins waging war on itself.  It starts
to attack its own cells, causing sores, pus, chronic
inflammation and bleeding in the digestive tract.

Imagine having debilitating diarrhea as many as 10-20
times a day, severe abdominal pain, exhaustion and even
depression.

You might also become anemic due to the bleeding, or
experience drastic w8 loss and malnutrition.

OK, game over.  You've just gotten a glimpse of what it's
like to have IBD (inflammatory bowel disease).  My clients
tell me that it's hell on earth.

The two most common forms of IBD are ulcerative colitis
and Crohn's disease.  The symptoms for both are almost
identical, so a diagnosis can't be made until a doctor
examines your intestinal tract.

IBD is a form of an autoimmune disease.

That means that the immune system sees your body's own
healthy cells as invaders and tries to destroy them.

The standard treatments for IBD are not very attractive:

Anti-inflammatory drugs:
=======================

These include steroids, which can bring on the massive
weight gain and puffiness (called Cushing's Syndrome) that
you see in people on prednisone.

With steroids you can also develop acne and skin problems,
muscle weakness, fragile bones, high blood sugar and mood
swings...in addition to your diarrhea, pain, exhaustion,
etc.

Antibiotics:
===========

These can help somewhat because they destroy the bad
bacteria in the intestines that the immune system is
attacking.  But they also destroy the good bacteria too, so
it's only a matter of time before the bad ones take over
and rear their ugly heads again.

Surgery:
=======

Ah, yes, the knife.  An estimated 25-40% of people with
ulcerative colitis, and up to 75% (3 out of 4) people with
Crohn's can expect to go under the knife.  And that's not
even a permanent solution because surgery doesn't make IBD
go away.  Because IBD is an immune disorder.  It will just
attack another area.  Plus having enough of your intestines
removed means you wear a bag on the outside of your body...
talk about a drastic lifestyle adjustment to make.

But there is a glimmer of hope for IBD sufferers.

Probiotics have been shown in studies to protect against
IBD and reduce intestinal inflammation in people with IBD.

They also help to counteract the effects of antibiotics
used to kill the bad bacteria by rebuilding the population
of beneficial bacteria in the gut.

The bacterial strains used in the research studies include
Lactobacillus plantarum 299v and Lactobacillus rhamnosus
GG.

Those two super strains also happen to be a part of the
Super Shield probiotic formula.

You won't find these strains in most other probiotic
formulas, because most other companies use cheaper, weaker
strains.

I specifically chose those two strains to be included in
our super potent Super Shield probiotic supplements because
of their proven ability to colonize in the intestines and
fight the effects of IBD as well as irritable bowel
syndrome--IBS.  (I used to be an IBS sufferer myself).

L. rhamnosus GG alone has more than 200 research papers
that document its benefits for GI health.  Studies also
suggest that L. rhamnosus GG helps strengthen gut barrier
health, and may have a beneficial impact on autoimmune
diseases including Crohn's, Colitis, rheumatoid arthritis
and allergies.

In addition, L. plantarum 299v takes up residence in the
small intestine (where Crohn's can often occur) and
controls bad bacteria growth, helps reduce LDL (bad)
cholesterol levels and boosts your overall immune system
too.

If you have IBD, IBS or even just an occasional bout of
diarrhea or constipation, the 13 powerful strains in Super
Shield can help balance your intestinal flora, strengthen
your gut wall, boost your immune system and help you feel
better than you have in years.

Why not try it now?  You have nothing to lose and so much
to gain.
