A great number of our clients who have upcoming surgeries
scheduled ask me if it's OK to continue taking Super Shield
probiotic formula just before and after the operation.
The answer: Not only is it OK, it's crucial.
Here's why:
Any kind of surgery poses various risks during and after
the procedure, such as complications and infection.
According to the CDC, post-op infections alone affect about
500,000 people each year.
So it's essential to have as strong an immune system as
possible when faced with surgery--your health (and possibly
your life) may just depend on it.
Super Shield
- http://www.bluerockholistics.com/product/pro-ss.asp with
its 13 powerhouse strains of beneficial bacteria will help
strengthen your immune system and make it more capable of
fighting off any post-surgical complications.
In addition, having any kind of surgical procedure is
extremely traumatic to your body and the healing process
can be long. In order to heal properly, it's vital to not
only eat foods that make you heal faster, but to make sure
that nutrients are being absorbed from your foods and toxic
wastes are being efficiently eliminated.
Super Shield's beneficial bacteria line your intestinal
walls, making them less porous and more able to absorb the
essential nutrients from your foods. Plus they help make
your digestion more efficient, which results in less
constipation and more regular bowel movements.

The benefits of probiotics for surgical patients have been
the subject of numerous research studies:
In a University of Chicago hospitals study, experts
reported that probiotics helped prevent surgery-related
complications for patients who had surgery for ulcerative
colitis and Crohn's disease. (Possible complications
include pouchitis and relapse.)
In a similar study, 81 patients with liver cancer who
underwent surgery were given probiotics either after or
before AND after surgery. Only 12% of the patients who
received the probiotics before AND after the surgery had
any type of complications, compared to 30% of patients who
only took the probiotics after their surgery.
The bottom line is this: If you're faced with surgery,
it's essential to give your body every fighting chance to
recover and heal successfully.
Super Shield with its highly potent, effective formula
will help give your body the boost it needs to help you
heal and bounce back to health as quickly as possible.
And if you're not faced with surgery? Well, it's still
important to keep a strong immune system and have efficient
digestion, so you don't get to the point where you WILL
need surgery. Let Super Shield help keep you away from the
knife. Learn about how that's possible here:

To your health,
Sherry Brescia
PS: Mildred is feeling the difference from Super Shield's
13 powerhouse strains:
*******************
Hi Sherry:
I had a colonoscopy done in 1999 because of a rectal bleed
& was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I was not given
any medication at that time.
However when frequent stomach cramping persisted, I
consulted my internist who recommended a particular
probiotic which I began taking & seemed to have only bouts
of the original complaint...but still persisted.
After receiving my order of Super Shield (which I ordered
for the entire family including my 95 y/o mother who
suffers from Crohn's) I noticed all cramps have ceased. I
feel this could be due to the inclusion of varied essential
bacteria that were not included in my original probiotic.
I intend to stay with Super Shield since I have not had
relief like this (thank God) in a very long time.
