My son and I went to the great New York State Fair a few
days ago.
Now, THAT'S a place to get some serious junk food.
Besides the usual pizza, fried dough, ice cream, candy
apples, soda, deep fried Twinkies and blooming onions,
there were "new" offerings of spaghetti and meatballs on a
stick, deep fried avocados and a hot beef sundae (made with
mashed potatoes, beef, sour cream, cheddar cheese and a
cherry tomato on top).
I overheard people in line for these creations saying
things like, "I'm gonna need the Rolaids after this!"
I thought to myself, "Yeah, and judging by your size, a
health club membership wouldn't hurt either."
Seriously though, eating a few bad foods at the fair once
a year is one thing--even my son and I enjoyed an ice cream
cone while we were there. However, making a regular diet
of sweet, fatty, low energy, acid-forming foods is quite a
different story.
When you exist on foods that, over time, cause your
stomach to dump gallons of excess acid just to break it
down, you fall prey to two of the most common health
challenges facing Americans.
Acid reflux and obesity.
You see, when you eat a typical western diet and combine
and combine the foods improperly, too, your body needs to
secrete acid continually to try and digest what you've eaten.
Up It Comes!
The excess acid in your stomach has to go somewhere, and
that somewhere is usually up. That's what causes the
burning throat, the 4-alarm fire in your chest and you
reach for the Rolaids or your daily dose of Nexium or
Prilosec.
Plus these poorly digested food packs on the pounds.
You see, when your body overproduces acid trying to digest
your foods, most or all of the naturally occurring
nutrients in the foods are destroyed.
Now, your body's hunger signal gets triggered by a need
for nutrients.
If you are a lot heavier than you used to be, this is a
major reason why. This is why you can eat and eat and eat
but still feel hungry... because no nutrients are getting
absorbed...they're all getting destroyed in the digestive
process.
That's why there are so many overweight people with acid
reflux. Simple but true.
But the great news is that you CAN get rid of acid reflux
(and the drugs that go along with it) and drop those excess
pounds.
It's very easy.
All you need to do is eat more alkaline forming foods and
foods that are digested easily together.
I show you exactly what to do in the two manuals, "What To
Eat With What" and "Foods That Create Acid, Foods That Take
It Away."
These plainly worded manuals teach you the few simple
principles of good food combinations that ensure all of
your meals are digested easily with just the right amount
of digestive acid--no more.
No excess acid means no acid reflux. (And no more purple
pills needed.)
And you'll get the benefits of the nutrients in your
foods, so you won't be hungry as often.
That means those excess pounds come sliding off.
If you're troubled by excess pounds that won't come off no
matter what you try, or if you're a slave to the purple
pill, find out what REALLY works.
I challenge you to follow the advice in "What To Eat With
What" and "Foods That Create Acid, Foods That Take It Away"
for a month and see how much your acid reflux improves and
how much blubber you lose.
PS: Michael and his friend are "lighter" and free of acid
reflux:

Hi Sherry,
I have been struggling with being overweight no matter
what methods I try.
A few weeks ago I was doing my daily walking/jogging on my
normal route and bumped into an old friend. I could not
avoid the fact that I barley recognized him as he had lost
approximately 35 pounds since I had last seen him.
He shared his story of suffering with acid reflux and how
he finally found an eating plan (Great Taste No Pain) that
has no side effects of acid reflux or heartburn. One of
the benefits of the "Great Taste No Pain" plan was weight
loss.
I immediately got on-line and found your plan. Since
practicing the food mixing combinations 2 weeks ago I have
lost 6 pounds and no longer have a bloated belly.
Thanks to you I will continue the program and have no
doubt that I will be healthier and happier in the years to
come.
Regards,
Michael Wofford
