After 20 Yrs - Reflux & 26 lbs Gone

If you're one of the estimated 200+ million people
suffering from GERD/acid reflux, it's time to stop being a
poorer loser.

Let me explain what I mean by walking you through what's
probably a very familiar scene in your past:

You go to the doctor for acid reflux or GERD pain
symptoms.  After a brief visit and maybe a test or two, you
walk out with a prescription for a drug that suppresses or
neutralizes stomach acid.

Now there are winners and losers in this scenario.

1)  The doctor is a winner--he gets a fee for a visit and
maybe some tests.

2)  The drug company is a BIG winner.  They get paid for
weeks, months and often times many years.

Take a look at these facts:

The original purple pill, Prilosec, became the #1 selling
prescription drug for seniors in the WORLD.  Prilosec
earned its manufacturer, AstraZeneca as much as $6.2
billion dollars a year.

When the patent on Prilosec expired in 2002, AstraZeneca
embarked on a multi-multi-multi million dollar marketing
campaign to move patients over to their next expensive
purple pill, Nexium.

You can't watch TV, open a magazine or do an online search
for "acid reflux" without seeing a Nexium ad.  And the
marketing is working.  Current annual sales of Nexium are
$5.2 billion a year, even with a slew of new competitors.

This will continue until Nexium's patent expires in 2014--
then we'll see the latest and greatest reincarnation of the
purple pill... and billions more for big pharma.

3) The loser is?  You guessed it--YOU.

You end up paying big bucks to the doctor and pharmacy
(even if you have insurance, co-pays can be $100 a month or
more) AND the "treatment" is no treatment at all--it makes
your acid reflux worse.

That's right--by interfering with stomach acid secretion,
you completely destroy your digestion because acid is
NEEDED to break down proteins and fats.

When this happens, your stomach, sensing something is
wrong, and tries to secrete more acid to accomplish
digestion.  But the good old acid reflux drug will either
stop it or neutralize it again.

So you end up with a stomach full of neutralized acid and
your barely digested food sitting there for 8-10 hours or
more, fermenting and rotting.

That's when you get the familiar burping, heartburn and
acid now rising into your throat.

It turns into a seemingly hopeless cycle--you go to the
doctor, get drug after drug that doesn't help, and you
STILL have a 4-alarm fire in your chest and acid in your
throat.

But there is another answer.  One that doesn't cost
hundreds of dollars.  One that REALLY works.

When you learn the foods that make digestion worse, and
the delicious foods that make it better, keeping stomach
acid low (I teach you this in the Great Taste No Pain
manuals
- http://www.greattastenopain.com/great.asp ), acid
reflux/GERD quickly goes away and doesn't come back...even
if you've had it for years or even decades!

Phyllis said goodbye to 20 years of GERD...and 26 1/2
excess pounds.  Here's her story:

Attn Sherry:

I have been on the Great Taste No Pain way of eating for
about 5 months now and have also been taking the Super
Shield probiotics for a couple of months.

I have been on some form of Prilosec, Zantac, Aciphex,
etc. for about 20 years and diagnosed with GERD and a
hiatal hernia.  To my initial disbelief I am feeling over
100% better as a result of eating the right combinations
according to your plan and taking the probiotics faithfully
every morning.

I do still have my Prilosec on hand, just in case; however
instead of taking 2-4 per day, I'm maybe taking 1 or 2 a
WEEK and hope to wean myself off of them permanently.

I was so at the end of my rope 5 months ago with a few
really bad nights of reflux like I've never experienced and
happened to fall upon your website.

Lucky me--after two endoscopies, (during one of which they
dialated my esophagus), my doctor told me to just monitor
what I eat and if something bothers me to stop eating it.

The more I thought about it, it was all the "Good for You"
foods that were going to be restricted.  It was a vicious
circle because I was trying to take off the additional 30
lbs. I had put on and making my symptoms even worse.

Well here we are after 5 months of Great Taste No Pain:
I'm 26 1/2 lbs. less and feeling better than I could have
ever imagined and am sharing your plan with everyone I know.

The great part about it is people really listen due to the
fact it's very obvious that it is working as a result of me
being so much smaller and feeling great.  "What a concept
and what a wonderful revolution."

Thank you so much.

Phyllis R.

PS: By the way, the Feta and Tomato Shrimp Scampi and
Caesar Salad are a huge hit in my house; my husband is a
big fan of these two recipes in particular and he's loving
the new me.
