If you're on acid reducing medication

Considering the numerous negative effects of antacids have
on a person's health, it's frightening that Nexium and
Prevacid are both in the top 10 selling drugs in the world.

A reflection of modern foods.

Since they both reduce acid in the stomach, they "seem" to
be the answer for acid reflux, GERD, hiatal hernia and
ulcers, right?

They're really not.

The reason they're not is because acid blockers and
reducers prevent your stomach from being able to do its job
effectively.  Your stomach produces acid to digest
proteins, so when you take away the acid it needs, you slow
down or halt your own digestion.

That is very bad.

It leads to decreased nutrient absorption (so you get
hungry sooner), cramps, gas, bloating, constipation,
diarrhea and...MORE acid.

That's right.  Your stomach senses when things aren't
right, and when you block acid production with PPIs, it
tries harder to release more acid to accomplish its job.
And that extra acid can easily glide up, up, up.

So PPIs actually WORSEN acid reflux, GERD and the like.

But that's not all they do.  There's more.

Because not only does the excess acid rise up in your
throat, but it also gets absorbed into your bloodstream and
lymph system and is transported all over your body.

This can lead to inflammation of all kinds, including
migraines, muscle and joint pain.

Google the drug literature for Nexium or Prevacid--you'll
see that those symptoms (and MANY more) are documented side
effects.

Now you know why.

Here's a perfect example of PPIs in action.

Wes lived a Prevacid nightmare for about 15 years, and his
heartburn ended up being just one of many problems.

Here's his remarkable story:

*******************

Sherry,

Approximately twenty years ago I started taking antacids
for heartburn.  After five years of complaints and
sleepless nights, my doctor decided I should go on a PPI
medication.

After a few trials, I ended up taking 30mg of Prevacid
each day.  This medication ended all my pain and I thought
everything was great.

After a year or two, I started noticing joint and
specifically shoulder pain that just kept getting worse.
This was causing sleepless nights and daily aches so my
doctor ran some tests and told me the Prevacid was
depleting nutrients in my body.

He put me on a high concentration of B-Complex vitamins
and COQ10.  This helped with the shoulder pain but not
various other joint aches.  I just dealt with it for many
years because I was sleeping at night.

Five years ago, my insurance company forced me to have an
endoscopy and would not fill my Prevacid until the results
came back.  I was miserable on another medication the
doctor gave me.  Once the results came back I was diagnosed
with a hiatal hernia and back on the Prevacid.

Two years ago, I developed a pain in my left hip.
Arthritis runs in my family so I went to a rheumatologist
who thought it might be bursitis and gave me a shot in the
joint which didn't help.

I then went back to my family doctor, who sent me to a
sports medicine doctor, who sent me to a pain management
doctor, who sent me to a neurologist.

None of these doctors could explain the pain, and the
xrays and MRI showed nothing.  The pain doctor wanted to
shoot steroids into my back which I refused because he was
not convinced it would help.

Very frustrated and hurting in both hips by now, I decided
to drop the COQ10 dosage and continue the B12.  This
surprisingly helped a little but not enough.

All along, I wondered if the Prevacid was my problem since
joint pain is a known side effect.  It's the only
medication I take and have taken for ten+ years.

I started research and discovered your web site.

I'm very happy to say that following your plan, I have not
had one episode of heartburn and am totally off the
Prevacid.  The joint pain has not totally gone away but IS
getting better.  I'm very optimistic that it will be gone
for good in time as there's really no other reason for it.

Thank you so much for sharing your work!  It truly has
been a blessing for me!

I know there's a lot of people that would love to give you
a big hug!

Wes

Now THAT is success.

There's one important point in Wes' story that I don't
want you to miss.

Wes saw five different doctors (including 4 specialists)
for his joint pain and NONE of them made the connection
between his Prevacid use and his pain.

Not one.

More drugs and injections were the only answers he got.

Good thing he started to question the medication he was
taking and look for safe, real answers.

And yes, Wes, I'm sure your joint pain is going to
continue to diminish now that you're off the Prevacid and
making your body more alkaline by following my advice in
Great Taste No Pain.

Do you have vague aches and pains that you can't explain?

Or are you just brushing them off as "getting old" or
arthritis?

If you are using PPIs or have an acid-forming diet, acid
build up in your body (called acidosis) could very likely
be the cause of your misery.

In the Great Taste No Pain manuals, I'll show you how to
reduce acid in your body, and help naturally eliminate
symptoms of acid reflux, GERD, hiatal hernia, ulcers and
gastritis.

Plus by addressing the underlying acid build-up in the
body, you can likely say goodbye to acid blockers and PPIs
altogether (and all the aches and pains they cause).

for you.  It's just one click away:
