Ten full days have officially passed since you made your
New Year's resolutions.
Are you still working daily toward some or all of those
goals?
Or a better question might be: Have you even started?
According to Psychology Today, taking off weight is
consistently in the top three New Year's resolutions people
make.
But if dieting worked in the long-term (there are over
30,000 published diets), then most people would not be
looking to drop weight every January 1st--they'd already be
at a healthy bodyweight (or close to it).
So what do you deduce from this?
That's right--dieting is NOT the way to achieve and
maintain an ideal bodyweight.
Let's talk about dieting for a moment.
Most people have tried some form of dieting at some point,
but nearly always put the weight they dropped back on and
more.
That's because whether it's portion reduction, meal
replacements, cutting out carbs or eliminating fats,
restricting your overall calorie intake CAN result in
pounds lost, but with dieting, those pounds are both fat
AND muscle.
That's not good.
Because since muscle tissue burns calories (fat does NOT),
you don't want to lose any of your muscle.
Also, when you restrict calories by eating less or
eliminating whole food groups from your diet, your body
goes into starvation mode in order to preserve your fat
stores. As a result, your fat burning metabolism slows WAY
down to keep you sustained on less food.
This means you start losing less or no weight, even though
you may be existing on celery and water.
This frustrates the heck out of dieters, and leads to many
an abandoned New Year's resolution.
Plus when you stop dieting and eat your "old way" again,
your body will burn even less calories than it did
previously because you slowed down your metabolic rate...so
any weight that was lost comes creeping back on, plus a few
more pounds.
And your New Year's resolution for next January 1st is
already in place.
Now, before I tell you the best way to take off the fat
and keep it off, it's essential to learn these 3 little-
known factors that contribute to weight GAIN.
===========
1- Antibiotics
===========
Researchers in the agricultural field know that giving
antibiotics to cows and pigs results in massive weight
gain. Livestock owners routinely put low doses of
antibiotics in their animals' feed because they change
their metabolism and improve their ability to retain fat.
Bigger animals = more meat (which means more profits).
Although we're not cows (well, some of us aren't),
antibiotics have a similar effect on humans.
ANY antibiotics you ingest, whether by prescription from
your doctor or through the meat you eat, can cause you to
retain fat.
And even though the amount of antibiotics you get in a
single serving of meat is extremely small, the harm comes
from the accumulation of these toxins over time, day after
day, meal after meal.
========
2- Candida
========
The processed, sugary, acid-forming foods that most people
eat today causes yeast (Candida albicans) to grow out of
control. This can lead to vaginal yeast infections, fungal
infections of the skin and nails, joint pain...
...and weight gain.
You see, Candida overgrowth causes you to have intense
cravings for sugary foods, bread and pasta. So it may not
be a "lack of willpower" that keeps you eating and eating --
you may simply be overrun with Candida!
===========================
3- All calories are not created equal
===========================
Most people believe that limiting your calorie intake to,
say, 1,500 calories a day would make you lose weight.
Not necessarily.
Because 1,500 calories of candy and soda, are not the same
as 1,500 calories of fish and vegetables.
Your body would not get its required nutrients from the
candy and soda, so it would again go into starvation mode
like I mentioned above. Plus, it would be nearly
impossible to stay under 1,500 calories because you'd be so
hungry all the time.
But with the fish and vegetables, your body would be
nourished so you'd feel full and satisfied (and FAR less
likely to overeat). Plus the starvation mode doesn't get
triggered, so your fat burning metabolism would be
stronger, resulting in more calories burned and pounds lost.
So now, what's the secret to losing pounds and keeping
them off?
It's this:
Make sure your digestive system is in perfect working
order.
I know this is vastly different from the dieting advice
you've been given in the past. But if you're still looking
for ways to get rid of the blubber, you can see that
calorie restriction is pretty worthless, isn't it?
Unless your digestive system is operating as it should,
there is no way you can reach and maintain your proper body
weight.
So if it's not working optimally, pigs will fly before you
get ripped.
But here's the great news: It's extremely easy to get and
keep your digestive system in working order, even after
years of abuse, fad diets (and lots of candy and soda!).
What I recommend to do is:
1- Eat a well-balanced diet of nutritious foods and keep
acid low in your body.
How? In Great Taste No Pain, I explain the few simple
principles that ensure you accomplish this.
And even though most clients initially get the GTNP system
to alleviate a digestive problem, over 80% of them also
report taking off excess weight without even trying--it
literally falls off.
Now you know why.
Great Taste No Pain will make sure that every single one
of the calories you eat is healthful and gourmet-style
delicious.
Super Shield with its army of 13 super potent medical-
grade bacteria strains will help restore and maintain your
good flora balance.
That will help fight the negative effects of the
antibiotics and Candida yeast I mentioned above.
Plus it will help keep your digestion running smoothly,
which will lead to efficient elimination of wastes and no
more bloating...all music to the ears of someone trying to
shrink the lump on their rump or deflate that spare tire.
