Once in a while I ruffle some people's feathers...and I
know it.
Like when I call a spade a spade and say that most
mainstream doctors offer just two treatment options for any
illness--surgery or their favorite, DRUGS.
Now I want to stress that there are a great many
compassionate, knowledgeable doctors who truly care about
helping their patients (my own brother, the emergency room
doc being one of them), and they should be commended for
their dedication.
But the sad facts are this:
Most docs are lacking the education or appreciation for
the role of nutrition in health (the fuel of the body), and
therefore poo-poo any natural approaches to treating an
illness. Nope--gotta cut 'em open or give 'em some
chemicals or both 'cuz that's what I learned in medical
school.
I speak quite frankly and directly about drug-obsessed
healthcare professionals because I'm living proof of the
physical disaster drugs can cause and the success and great
health that can be had from an appropriate diet.
I ended 20 years of digestive hell by learning how to
combine foods properly...after my "specialist" failed
miserably by giving me one drug after another, and telling
me diet made zero difference.
And I've helped tens of thousands of others worldwide do
exactly the same thing.
Here's an example from a client who ended 25 years of GERD
and antacids:

Sherry:
I am still in a state of total disbelief.
I've been almost 2 weeks on your Great Taste No Pain
program
- http://www.greattastenopain.com/great.asp
and for the first time in over 25 years I am not taking a
proton pump inhibitor, Nexium, Prevacid, Protonix, you name
it and I have used it.
In addition I was taking over 600 gms of Ranitidine and
Tums and many a night I sat up with extreme GERD.
My constant bloating and embarrassing bouts of gas are all
gone. The good food combining has made me feel better than
I have felt in years.
I can't wait to see my gastro doc and show him your book
and tell him he can save his Rx pad as far as I am
concerned.
I can't begin to thank you, and to think I really had to
think about it before I went ahead and ordered your
program. The whole thing is so logical and really doesn't
require any major changes in lifestyle.

SB: Don, I'm thrilled for you. But don't be surprised if
your gastro doc is less than thrilled about Great Taste No
Pain. Sadly, it's been my experience that most docs see
natural approaches to treating illness as nothing but a
decrease in their bottom line. Let's hope yours is the
exception. All my best to you.

Here's another letter I got that you'll really get a kick
out of--it's a bit extreme but drives home the point of
drug-obsessed docs.
It's from a healthcare professional (a Certified
Nutritionist) who gave me her two cents.
See what Dena writes:
*******************
Dear Ms. Brescia,
As a professional Certified Nutritionist (in private
practice since 1993) it amazes me that doctors are, as a
group, so utterly ignorant and short sighted regarding your
list of digestive maladies. Cheers for you, I wish you
every success.
My clients have been hearing most of what you write about
for a very long time (how diet affects health). MDs,
however, appear to learn nothing except how to take a
pharmaceutical representative to lunch, and accept the God-
awful medications which lead to new illnesses.
Sincerely,
Dena M.

If you suffer from digestive problems and have been given
nothing but drug after drug, it's time to see what a huge
difference a few modifications to your diet can make.
You can't even comprehend how fantastic you can feel, how
much more energy you'll have, how much better you'll sleep
and how great you'll look.
You'll be even more astounded at how committed you'll be to
staying this way once you experienced real comfort in your
body.
All you have to do is give it a try.
The Great Taste No Pain manual "How To End Stomach Pain
Forever, Even If Your MD Says, 'No Way!'" will teach you
the few simple principles and why it works so well for
everyone.
As Don said above, it's logical and doesn't require any
major lifestyle change.
Plus the manual "What To Eat With What" makes meal
planning a cinch, and helps ensure that all of your meals
and snacks will be digested easily, with a minimal amount
of acid and NO PAIN!
And if you are a cook, the 112 recipes make you love every
delicious bite of eating for great health.
Don't think you need to be a slave to antacids or acid
blockers one minute longer. Real relief for a lifetime is
just one click away.
PS: Chestain is happy to be free of acid reflux AND
antacids:
*******************
Hi Sherry,
I, too, have suffered from gastrointestinal distress as
long as I can remember. I have taken antacids, many more
that I should have some days, just to try and get some
relief and to be able to try to have a normal life.
It had gotten worse over the last year or so and every
time I spoke with my doctor, was told that it was normal
and just a part of growing older. Well, I knew that this
was not normal.
I googled acid reflux one morning, and I came upon your
website. The more I read, the more I became interested in
knowing more about food combinations and why certain things
did not work together well in trying to digest them. I
ordered your program and received it a few days ago.
I started trying your suggestions right away and found
myself having almost instant improvement. I have been
eating this way for about five days now and cannot tell you
how much better I feel.
I still have more to learn, but this is so GREAT! Your
manual has become my "health bible." I look forward to
getting up in the morning and having a new day to enjoy.
Thanks for telling your story and helping me learn how to
take charge of my own health, getting relief without any
pills or special foods that cost a fortune to maintain.
This is a real blessing to me.
Sincerely,
Chestain G.(age 59)
