If I could change one thing in this world, I would make it
MANDATORY that all health professionals would get in-depth
training in diet and nutrition. Then they might stop
telling people with digestive problems that their diet
makes no difference in how they feel.
That's as ridiculous as slamming a hammer down onto
your thumb and saying the hammer had nothing to do with
your throbbing, swollen thumb.
It's undeniable... The research is clear.
Jack Lalanne, looking spectacular at 95, says that if it
won't spoil, don't eat it. He looks and feels better than
most 23 year olds.
But in the past 60 years, much of our food has been
transformed from fresh REAL food into packaged products
designed by taste, color and texture engineers for long
shelf life, repeat purchases and of course huge PROFITS.
Nutrients have been replaced by chemicals that our bodies
weren't designed to take in.
Names of foods (watermelon, sirloin steak, spaghetti) have
been replaced by brand names (Betty Crocker, Campbell's,
Kellogg's, Kraft).
At the same time our meals have become a digestive
nightmare smorgasbord, loaded with every single food group
(and other processed "things" that can't even be called
food) at every single meal.
So to think that educated professionals are telling people
with aching guts and rotting intestines that "Your diet has
nothing to do with how you're feeling" is insane.
The sad thing is that is most people will never change
what they eat because their doctors will never mention it
or worse, when asked they'll say it doesn't matter.
And they will pay a hefty price. Maybe even the ultimate
price...
If you never read another word I say after today, just
know this:
Your diet, the food you eat is the biggest cause of
digestive and most other health problems.
You can't exist on processed, chemical-laden fake "food"
and expect to look good, feel good or have energy beyond
lunchtime. 'Taint going to happen.
Expect instead to be fat, sick and tired all the time.
The story below is a perfect example of what I'm talking
about today.
Henry was one year away from having his intestines
removed. Plus he was on multiple medications and bled
every time he went to the bathroom.
He was told his diet made NO difference.
But he has since learned the power of a correctly
combined, REAL foods diet...and the changes have been
remarkable and FAST.
Here's his story:

Hi Sherry:
I'm Henry Brown, 56 years old.
I was told I have ulcerative colitis 6 years ago. Also
ankylosing spondilitis (chronic inflammation of the spine)
and lots of arthritis, acid reflux, etc.
I was taking pantoprazole sodium (Protonix), sulfasalazine
(Azulfidine) and Salofalk.
I had a colonoscopy in November 2009 after which my doctor
showed me pictures of my bowels and colon. They were in
very bad shape, inflamed and blistered.
She told me they were so bad they will have to be removed
in one year's time if they don't improve. Also, to take
Salofalk every night at bedtime for the next year.
Every bowel movement I had was more blood than anything
else.
You gave me hope, so I ordered your manuals and recipe
book. I also now take omega 3 and probiotics as well as
learning to eat in proper food combinations.
I only started 3 days ago and have no acid reflux pain
whatsoever.
I've also had no bloating, and most important, no more
blood coming out of me!
The last several months have been very scary with losing
so much blood 4 - 6 times a day with the colitis.
I wish I could have known about you sooner. You know a
lot more than my gastroenterologist who told me the food I
ate played no part in the colitis.
I think you proved it does. Hopefully when I have another
colonoscopy in a year's time my colon will look good enough
to save.
I feel bad for all the people who have had their colons
and/or bowels removed when these doctors should've figured
this out long ago like you did.
By the way: I know for a fact your parents are extremely
proud of you...and so are the rest of us.
Thank you so much for calming down a panic stricken man
with little to hope for.
Henry Brown
PS: You're right--it isn't hard to follow your program.
I can still eat everything I could before, just some things
can't be eaten together.

SB: Henry, congratulations on taking the most important
step toward great health. You're on your way to a pain-
free life, and will likely be able to say goodbye to your
medications soon. Let me know how that colonoscopy looks
next year! God bless you...and thanks for the remark about
my parents.
