A quick scan of published health statistics shows that
people in the world's most developed countries can be put
into 2 groups:
Group 1- Those on prescription drugs, and
Group 2- Those who will be
This is a sad state of affairs.
Two of the biggest reasons for it are the billions that
the medical community makes selling drugs and surgery as
treatments, and the relentless marketing efforts of the
pharmaceutical companies who claim to solve all of your
problems with their legalized poisons, while they
grudgingly admit you may want to jump of a bridge, not be
able to sleep (or sleep with anyone else), bleed, twitch,
and even die because of them.
Of course, the processed and fast food companies do their
part too, making sure our diets are loaded with addictive
chemicals that wreak havoc with our bodies and create
disease.
But hey, they're stock is going through the roof, so ahhh,
what the heck.
And we're not without blame either. I've never seen a gun
being held to anyone's head in Mickey D's FORCING them to
down a Silly Meal.
And even though the avg person in this country can't see
their own private parts, they still believe there's nothing
wrong with eating mainly boxed and bagged foods and big,
heavy, complex meals--after all, "Everyone eats this way,
right?"
They don't realize how much their food choices impacts the
way they feel, how they look and how soon they'll be ill...
That is, until the prescription pad comes out and you've
moved from group number 2 above to group number 1.
A rude awakening.
Here's a great story about a husband and wife who didn't
see how much their diet was harming their health.
But boy did they get a pleasant surprise when the light
bulb went on!

Hi Sherry,

My husband and I are 63 and 60 respectively. We grew up
in the country where his family milked cows and we all
lived on dairy and meat as a way of life.
We both come from families that have been visited by
cancer. Our parents and other family members have suffered
