Wanna hear about a lady who cured her lymphocytic colitis

Lymphocytic colitis - the bad

Lymphocytic colitis is also called microscopic colitis.

Ischemic colitis happens when the blood flow to your
intestines gets cut off.
This is not good. It can kill you if it goes on long
enough.
Not only do you get pain and diarrhea, but you run the
risk of some of your intestinal tissue dying. If that
happens, emergency surgery is needed to remove the dead
tissue and save your life.
The decreased blood flow can be caused by bacterial
infection, inflamed blood vessels, atherosclerosis,
diabetes, blood clots or prescription drugs.
Yup--this is the stuff you don't hear in those attractive
drug ads with the smiling celebrities. Ischemic colitis
can be caused by the following types of drugs:
And get this--The prescription drug alosetron (Lotronex),
which is used by women with severe IBS, carries an FDA
warning about its link to ischemic colitis. Before you
start Lotronex, the doctor makes you sign an agreement that
you understand its risks.
How scary is that? That drug can harm the very organ it's
designed to "help" and put your life in jeopardy...and you
have to sign away your rights if if hurts you so they won't
be liable.
The standard treatments

Besides emergency surgery if needed, the typical
treatments for lymphocytic and ischemic colitis are, of
course, prescription drugs.
But as usual these chemicals do nothing to address the
underlying problem, and can make you feel even worse with
their side effects.
The best treatment

The best treatment for ANY type of colitis is to attack
the root problem--the colon inflammation (and any other
messed up bodily functions that might be contributing to
it).
The easiest, safest, fastest and most effective way to do

I was diagnosed with a disorder called lymphocytic colitis
about five years ago.
I never was one to take pills and opted not to go that

is considerably worse. I was sent home with a host of
different pills to take.
I learned that it was quite serious because it involved
insufficient blood flow to the colon. In many cases
gangrene can set in and part of the colon has to be
removed. I was given Celexa, Adivan, Donatal, and Tramidol
and sent home.
After taking this medication for a few weeks and not being
able to function because of the side effects, I went on the
