How Big Is Your Bod

Here's a question for you:  Is being thin bad?

I ask that because some of our clients are concerned
because they get thinner so fast following my advice in the
Great Taste No Pain system.  It happens so fast without even
trying, they wonder if they're dying.  Funny.

But for others it's more of a perception thing.  They
actually like being fat.  It's normal for them, and getting
thinner messes with their whole identity.  Odd how our
minds work, isn't it?

As Americans (and this applies to other industrialized
countries too) we have been getting larger and larger over
the last 50 years or so.

It hasn't happened suddenly.  It's been gradual.

In the 1950's the average dress size for a woman was an 8.
Now, 50 years later, it's crept up to a 14!  And this has
been seen as OK.  In fact, many people see this as normal,
the way we humans are supposed to be.  It's not.

Our dependence on (and addiction to) fast food and
processed food, plus eating acid-forming, improperly
combined meals has continued to widen our loads a little
more each year.

Prior to the 1950's, fast food and processed foods were
not common, and meals were structured much more simply,
with less chance of difficult to digest combinations.

Now, because this backside ballooning has happened to
almost everyone, it's not noticed as much.  After all, when
everyone around you looks like you, you think of yourself
as "normal" or "typical," right?

You may be typical but that's not necessarily a good
thing.  Because when typical means weighing too much,
looking horrible, and feeling rotten about it, that's bad.

Now back to the question of lost pounds and Great Taste No
Pain:

When you structure your meals like I quickly teach you how
to do in Great Taste No Pain,
- http://www.greattastenopain.com/great.asp
ALL of your bodily systems begin working more efficiently--
possibly better than they have in your whole life:

* Your heart works better because it's no longer under the
stress of pumping thickened acidic blood through your body.

* Your kidneys work better because they don't have to
filter so much acid out of your blood and dump it into your
urine.

* Your pancreas works better and secretes insulin like it
should so your chances of becoming a diabetic are teensy
weensy.

* Your foods digest easier and thoroughly.  Built-up
wastes are eliminated from your colon.

* You get the benefit of all the nutrients from your foods
because they're not destroyed by overproduction of acid in
the stomach, so you're hungry less often.

* And the foods you eat are more nutritious and naturally
lower in calories than the foods you used to eat a lot of.

* You have more energy and sleep better.

And ALL of this results in a smaller arse, arms, legs,
head, neck, stomach, etc., etc.

And that's not a bad thing!

Ladies, just because everyone else around you is a size 14
or 16, what on earth is wrong with being a size 8 or 6 or
even 4?  (I'm a size 2, I'm 47 years old and get told I
look 32 all the time.  I'm not complaining.)

And for you guys, what's wrong with size 30 or 32 jeans
instead of 38 or 40 or more?  Wouldn't it be nice to look
down and see your toes instead of your gut?

Stop being concerned because you're different from other
people.  When different can translate into many (healthy)
years added onto your life, that's a good thing.

Don't worry about having to spend money on smaller
clothes.  It's either that or spend it on doctor visits,
drugs and possibly surgery for who-knows-what disease.

And don't be concerned about "starving" your body.  It's
not going to happen.  When you eat delicious, nutritious,
correctly combined meals plus snacks every day, and eat
until you are comfortably full, your body will adjust
itself to a slender, healthy weight and stay there, just
like in the 1950's and before

"Thin is in."

To your health,

Sherry Brescia

PS: Jeanne is Omeprazole-free and 12 pounds lighter after
just 5 weeks:

*******************

Dear Sherry,

I have been on your Great Taste No Pain plan for about 5
weeks now.  I was on two 20 mg Omeprazole tabs a day for
acid reflux for two years, and one tablet for a few years
before that.

I don't think I need to tell you how bad my digestion had
gotten, but I was miserable every day.  I figured I had
Gastritis because it resembled how I had felt in the past
when another doctor told me to take six ibuprofen per day
for my Carpel Tunnel in my hands.

So I finally got on the internet to search for remedies
for gastritis and started reading your site.  I was amazed
at how you described my symptoms--the gas, bloating and
feeling like the food I ate was rotting in my stomach.

I immediately started the plan and took myself off of one
of the pills.  It took a few days to recover, but I could
tell within a couple of days that this was the answer for me.

I have now been totally off of my pills for two weeks.  If
I do get a lingering occasional heartburn, I just eat some
almonds or a piece of cucumber and the symptoms go away.

Oh and as a bonus, I have lost 12 lbs!  I was trying to
lose weight anyway, but this eating plan doubled my results.

Thank you so much for what you are doing.  I can't believe
that doctors don't try to learn (or don't share their
knowledge) about what the right foods and the way we eat
them can do for us.

Sincerely,

Jeanne P.
