Since it's Halloween I thought I would share a gory "horror story" with you:
"The Creatures Within"
Susan is living a NIGHTMARE. She has "creatures" living inside her, and now they are creeping out of their dark, secret hiding places ever so quietly. She typically has no warning or inclination that they are about to create havoc...a literal war inside her.
There's no escaping it. She is trapped and helpless.
And then comes the real terror -- like Freddie Krueger, Jason and the monster in Aliens all at the same time, they launch their vicious attack on her!
The pain in her gut is tortuous... Chances are good blood will drip out her backside. On and on it goes -- more pain, more blood, more agony. She prays for the nightmare to be over.
Eventually, after what seems to be an eternity, it slows down... The "creatures" slither away and recede back into their hiding places. She lay there, exhausted, feeling dead, yet relieved that the agony is subsiding.
But she's not fooled -- because they'll be BACK. And who knows how horrible it will be next time.
Hopefully she'll live to tell about it...
Sadly, horrible experiences like the one above are a grim reality for many people. Sometimes daily.
Because I've just described a typical attack of diverticulitis or IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).
Now, it's bad enough when a person has one of those conditions--but increasing numbers of people are now suffering from MULTIPLE digestive conditions.
What the heck is going ON?!
Well, I'll tell you... Unfortunately, we're reaping what we sow.
