In the 50's and 60's very few people were overweight, let alone obese.
But today it's two out of three adults.
What has changed?
If you've tried one or more of the 30,000 published diets in existence and failed (or put the weight back on like 97% of people do), you probably felt frustrated and even angry with yourself.
But you had help with your failure.
You see, there is a multi-billion dollar industry that is dedicated to making you fat and keeping you fat.
Why? Because it means profits, my friend, that's why. BIG bucks.
One way they do this is to hit you right in the middle of your face...in your nose, that is.
Your nose knows
Studies have shown that many people need only get a whiff of a high-fat, sugary snack in order to cave in.
That's why you can't walk through a shopping mall without smelling cinnamon rolls, donuts or chocolate chip cookies. They know you'll follow your nose.
I experienced this phenomenon myself!
12 years ago, I was on an assignment at a hospital and I kept smelling chocolate all morning (forgetting that a chocolate factory was down the road).
When I went to the cafeteria for lunch, I asked the server if they had made brownies, thinking I might indulge in one.
Now, I RARELY eat sweets. But smelling that chocolate smell all morning was enough to tempt me.
The cafeteria lady snickered and said I was smelling Nestle's. Ooops!
Just one WILL hurt
Certainly one cookie or donut won't kill you, but the problem is that just one could trigger binge behavior.
So you not only eat the donut but go home and clean out your pantry, cupboard or refrigerator too.
It doesn't help that what you're eating is likely to be full of refined flour and sugar, which raise your level of serotonin (the "feel good" hormone) for a short while.
But then the serotonin rush goes away and you crash, feeling worse than you did before and miles from your goal weight.
Plus, many processed foods contain trans fats which clog your arteries and make you a candidate for heart disease.
Once on the lips, forever on the hips
There's an entire global chemical industry that creates flavors for the processed food companies.
Once they've got your tongue, my friend, they've got you good.
For example, fast food French fries have a tasty meaty flavor from beef tallow added to the cooking oil.
Chicken and bacon fat "flavors" are added to low fat burgers and baked chicken nuggets to give them that slippery-mouth feel of real fat.
Baked corn and potato chips are sprayed with fake fats to heighten their flavors, because if they didn't you'd spit them out as soon as they hit your tongue.
Imagine that... they have to add chemical flavorants just to make these fake foods edible at all. Without them, they taste like the garbage they really are.
And all of these tastes make you want to eat more and more and more (and get fatter and fatter and fatter).
A glimmer of hope
Here is the good news in all of this: There is hope for people who have become prisoners of the "food manipulators."
Once you stop eating the strong salty, meaty, sweet and spicy fake flavors that are loaded in processed and fast food, you regain the ability to taste the flavors of REAL foods...
...and LOVE them.
That's right. In numerous studies of former junk food junkies, most have said they never realized how delicious real foods are and what rich flavors they have.
And once they began eating real foods, guess what happened...
Yup--their waistlines began to shrink, and their health improved dramatically.
Many reported increases in energy, less digestive distress, fewer body aches and pains, clearer skin, fewer headaches, and better sleep, to name a few.
A key to overcoming "junk food-itis" is to make real foods that are delicious and enticing.
That's where Great Taste No Pain can be a tremendous help.
The GTNP recipe book is loaded with 112 of my culinary masterpieces that will make you fall in LOVE with real food.
Once you start eating real foods on a regular basis, you will lose your taste for the processed chemical junk. As a matter of fact, chances are good you'll be repulsed by it. (Just the smell of Pop Tarts, for example, makes me gag, and I used to eat them by the truckload as a kid.)
Plus, in the GTNP manuals I'll show you exactly what combinations of foods to eat for easy, efficient digestion and maximum nutrient absorption.
And ALL of this means a trimmer YOU.
Now here's the best part: It also means that once real foods comprise the majority of your diet, if you want to indulge in a not-so-good-for-you food now and then on a special occasion, you CAN. As long as it's the exception and not the norm, your body will bounce back from it and you'll maintain your weight.
It's for this reason that the GTNP recipe book has a dessert chapter and
guidelines on how and when to eat desserts.
You can't beat that now, can you? Especially this time of year around the holidays.
Don't let yourself be a prisoner to the food manipulators, watching your waistline expand and feeling hopeless one minute longer.
Let Great Taste No Pain help you reach and maintain your perfect bodyweight, feel great in the process, and love every single bite.
To your health,
PS: Virginia has lost 14# in 18 days and no longer has cravings!
I began using the information in your Great Taste No Pain guide 18 days ago. 3 AMAZING things have happened that I wanted to tell you about. But first, let me tell you my "before" story:
I was in constant pain so severe that I could not stand or sit upright. I missed a lot of work and felt miserable all the time. When we would go out to do something "fun" I would plaster a smile on my face so others would not know that all I wanted to do was hurry home and crawl into bed. I felt like I was not truly living. I worried that I would be permanently disabled and have to quit my job.
A colonoscopy, upper GI and other tests revealed that I had inflammation of the bladder, intestines and stomach, and spasms in my intestines. A large polyp was removed from my small intestines and I was told to continue taking acid reducing medicine and add more fiber - but none of those things helped.
I tried several dietary restrictions as well - but it didn't seem to matter what I ate - until I learned about the proper food combinations from your guide.
After only a few days, my pain was DRAMATICALLY reduced!
The second exciting thing is that I no longer have the achy, stiff joints that prevented me from being able to walk up and down stairs without difficulty. I'm only 47, but felt 20 years older. I think the inflammation was in my joints too.
But now I move up and down stairs quickly with a spring in my step and I'm even looking forward to starting an exercise program again.
And thirdly - and I have to say this is Super exciting for me - I have lost 14 pounds in 18 days. I have 24 more to go to be at a healthy weight - but I can see the finish line now.
I feel like my body is finally being nourished, and the cravings are gone, so I have not been tempted to go back to my old way of eating. Even more than the weight issue though - just the thought of the pain coming back is enough to keep me on track.
Thank you so much for ALL the information you give in your guides and daily emails. I've learned so much about my body and what it needs to be healthy. I have hope that I can live a full life again!
PPS: Eating processed junk foods (most boxed, bagged, canned or bottled concoctions) reduces your body's ability to produce digestive enzymes. Your body uses LOTS of enzymes breaking down junk food, and it can only produce so many over your lifetime. But Digestizol Max enzyme formula can help your system break down any kind of food you eat and preserve your precious enzyme supply. Learn more about Digestizol Max here:
PPS: Got low energy? Brain fog? CRS disease? You just may be low in in just one vitamin. One out of four people are. Read more about this deficiency and how you can help turn that around FAST.
