When talking about
medical problems or symptoms, doctors
commonly use the adjectives "borderline," "mild," "moderate" or
"severe" to describe the extent of the condition or the level of
pain
you might be feeling.
- Mild low back pain
- Severe nausea and vomiting
- Moderate wheezing and congestion
- Borderline high blood pressure
Now, it makes sense
that if a doc is talking about something wrong with YOU, most
people would rather hear they have a "mild" or "borderline"
version of some condition than a "severe" one. After all, it
seems like the problem is less serious and a lower overall risk
to your health.
That may be true of
many health issues.
But not of a vitamin
B12 deficiency.
Because even a
"seemingly innocent" borderline deficiency can spell trouble.
Here's what I mean:
Borderline
deficiency doesn't mean "borderline" problems
Here is some of the
wide variety of vague symptoms of a mere borderline B12
deficiency:
1. Shortness of
breath, even when walking just a short distance.
2. Itching,
tingling, stinging or pain on your tongue.
3. Sudden sharp
stabbing, tingling pain in the palm of one or both hands.
4. Raw sores at
the corners of your mouth which can extend down the side of your
lip.
5. Sensation of a
nerve shock on the side of your body. It can occur near your
hips or along the ribs.
6. White spots on
your skin as a result of a lack of melatonin in the area. The most common area for these to occur is on the forearm, but
they may appear in other places too.
7. Eye twitching.
8. Facial pain,
typically on one side of your face at a time. The pain can
range from dull to sharp and occur anywhere, including your
cheekbone, forehead, edge of your nose and under an eye.
9. Tingling along
the back of one or both thighs, starting at your hips and
shooting down. This can eventually develop into actual pain.
10. Memory loss
and/or disorientation.
11. Migraine
headaches, including a "flash" or temporary blind spot just
before the headache occurs.
12. Overall
feeling of fatigue.
I don't know about
you, but those don't seem like innocent little symptoms to me,
especially if they continue to get worse.
B12 deficiency
is sneaky
Now what makes this
tricky is that a borderline B12 deficiency is sneaky and
commonly overlooked, or not named a "suspect" in your state of
ill health.
You see, borderline
B12 deficiency can sometimes cause symptoms so severe that it
might not be suspected as a possible cause because it would seem
like such extreme symptoms wouldn't be caused by just a
"borderline" deficiency.
Plus B12 deficiency
sometimes goes undiagnosed until your symptoms become severe.
This isn't necessarily your doctor's fault--your symptoms might
come on so gradually that you become used to them and not
mention them until they get really bad....and your deficiency is
severe.
What to do?
If you have any of
the symptoms I mentioned above, first and foremost, talk to your
doctor. Since those symptoms can indicate many different health
problems, it's important to rule out whatever else may be
causing them.
If no other cause is
determined, then it's time to talk to your doc about checking
your vitamin levels. Now keep in mind, even if your B12 value
comes back borderline or even on the low side of normal, in many
cases that can be enough to cause symptoms.
If your doc won't do
a test to assess your vitamin levels, find one that will.
How to say goodbye to B12 deficiency
The great news is
it's as easy as pie to help end a vitamin B12 deficiency and the
symptoms that go along with it.
In addition to making
sure your diet is healthy and includes lean meat and poultry
(preferably organic), supplementation is key.
And if you're a
vegetarian and not getting ANY B12 from animal foods,
supplementation is essential!
The biggest issue
with supplementation is to know the good from the bad.
Here
are the traditional options for B12 supplementation and where
they rank:
1) Vitamin B12 pills or capsules
These are very
affordable and convenient. However, actual absorption of the B12
once that pill hits your digestive tract is another story.
Studies show that B12
absorption through the digestive path can measure less than 1/2
of 1%. When this is compared to the typical vitamin C absorption
of 70-95%, you can see how abysmal B12 absorption from pills is.
Bottom line: Don't
waste your money.
2) Vitamin B12 injections
These are EXTREMELY
effective because the B12 is being injected right into your
system and doesn't run the risk of being ambushed by your
digestive tract.
But they also happen
to be very inconvenient, painful and expensive.
Bottom line: Great
but with a hefty price.
3) Vitamin B12 spray
The newest option for
vitamin B12 supplementation is a liquid that you spritz under
your tongue.
And is it ever
effective!
With a sublingual
spray, B12 is quickly absorbed into your bloodstream through the
mucus membranes in your mouth. From there it quickly gets
transported to your cells, brain and everywhere that it's so
desperately needed.
And that means you
can start feeling the difference FAST!
Now if you're
wondering where you can get a high quality, reasonably priced
B12 spray, look no further than Hydroxaden 2.5.
Just 5 little
spritzes of Hydroxaden 2.5 a day gives you a whopping 2.5 mg. of two of
the highest quality forms of B12 (hydroxocobalamin and
adenosylcobalamin).
Plus, Hydroxaden is
safe and convenient to use. Any excess that your body doesn't
need is eliminated in your urine. And the 32-dose bottle fits
conveniently in a purse or pocket.
Bottom line:
Super effective, quality product, convenient to use, and at a
great price, too!

PS: Maureen and
her friend have loads of energy now!:
Hi All:
Just wanted to let
you know that I gave a friend of mine a bottle of the Hydroxaden 2.5.
He said the stuff
is amazing and that he has so much energy and doesn't need to
sleep as long; which he likes. His wife said that she is "going
to kill me" because she cannot shut him up and he bounces around
the house!
I had to laugh! I
also find that I am so much better and my energy levels have
soared since taking it.
Kind regards,
Maureen
