How To Give A Kid A.D.D. & Depression

There's no denying it...

And we can't ignore it any longer...

We humans are clearly at a point in our "evolution" where our backsides are bigger than ever before in our existence.

And more people have digestive conditions and emotional problems than ever before too.

The those affected are getting younger and younger.

Kids are being diagnosed in frighteningly increasing numbers with obesity, acid reflux, attention deficit disorder (ADD) and depression.

But this isn't some strange phenomenon of nature or "evolution."

This isn't "better diagnosing."

Oh no, it's created mainly by one single thing...

What we put on our PLATES ever day.

Putting it bluntly, addictions to soda, junk and fast foods and their resulting nutritional deficiencies are making kids fat, sick, unable to learn and emotionally unstable.

And if that's how they start life out, imagine what kind of adults they will turn into!

Take a further look if you dare

Consider these unsettling facts:

* One soda per day increases a child's risk of obesity by 60%.

* 90% (9 out of 10) preschoolers drink at least one soda daily and 4 out of 10 drink at least 3 sodas a day.

* 30% (3 out of 10) kids eat some type of processed fast food every single day.

* One single fast food meal (aka "Happy Meal") shouldn't make you "happy" at all. They contain 100% of a kid's recommended total daily calorie intake but next to NO usable nutrients.

* The average child watches 30,000 food ads on TV each year, with most of them advertising sugary, starchy, nutritionally deficient processed snack-type foods.

People are getting rich at the expense of our kids...

The physical effects of soda and junk food are pretty obvious--obesity and digestive disorders being the most common.

In the US alone, between 1976 and 2004, the rate of severely obese children has tripled to a total of 2.7 million kids. Currently nearly 1 out of 5 kids is OBESE, and several million more are overweight, expanding toward obesity.

And here's the thing the pharmaceutical companies are loving most: Between 2000 and 2005, cases of GERD/acid reflux diagnosed in kids increased between 30% to 50% in the various age groups.

What does that mean to them?

It means that the development of products like Kid's Tums and docs even prescribing the purple pill to little ones.

Ah, little patients for life. Chi-ching!

Unhealthy bodies AND minds

The physical effects of the typical modern diet aren't the only issue here.

Not eating right takes its toll mentally, too.

A study published in the American Journal of Psychiatry showed that 8 year-olds low on zinc, iron and B vitamins (which is a direct result of a fast/junk food diet) show 40% more aggressive behavior than those without deficiencies.

17 year-olds lacking these nutrients were 50% MORE violent and had antisocial behaviors.

Zinc helps balance blood sugar, so kids that are low on it crave sweets. Lacking zinc can also lead to anorexia nervosa, bulimia, frequent headaches and depression with suicidal ideation.

A low magnesium level is linked to attention deficit disorder (ADD), autism, depression, fatigue and learning disabilities.

And low iron levels can cause poor brain functioning and erratic behavior.

So is it any surprise that we have to have metal detectors at schools and tragic school shootings continue to occur?

Is it any wonder that our kids are fat and needing to take medication just to get their homework done or to stop heartburn?

We're not FEEDING them -- we're stuffing them full of harmful chemicals and useless chemical junk!

Do what's right

Please, if you love your kids, do what's right.

Put REAL food into them.

And put your foot down.

Take the time to prepare real food -- aren't your kids' brains, bodies and lives worth it?

No excuses here -- you've got the time. If you have time to watch your "favorite shows" each week, then you have the time to prepare meals. Most households in the US didn't even have a television in the early 50's. So we can all live without it, eh?

I know the kids will moan and beg for Mickey D's or Taco Bell, but say no.

They might refuse to eat the "good stuff," but what's the worst thing that will happen? They'll go hungry for a night. Big deal. They're better off going hungry than eating junk. Truly.

And when they see you're serious, they likely won't continue their "hunger strike" for too long.

Help their brains grow and work right. Help them to stay trim and heartburn-free. Give them a chance at a disease-free, happy, successful life.

And be an example with your OWN eating habits, too.

You gotta lead by example.

Now, if you're not sure where to begin, I can help you. Eating for a healthy body and mind is easier and TASTIER than you think when you follow Great Taste No Pain.

In the Great Taste No Pain manuals, I explain exactly what to do and how to create scrumptious meals that are big on taste AND the nutrients your body needs.

Do it NOW

Time is of the essence. Life is too short already to live it sick, fat and miserable. Never fear--even if your kid has been a fast food fanatic for most of their years (or if you have, too!), it's not too late. The human body is amazing and can bounce back from a LOT of abuse.

Do what's right. For your kids and yourself. Start now.

To your health,

Sherry Brescia

PS: Janne is overcoming a LIFETIME of stomach problems and doesn't need acid reducers any more:

Dear Sherry! :-)

Ever since I was born, I have had problems with my stomach.

About 10 - 15 years ago I had a gastroscopy and was told that it was probably gas pain and irritable colon. I have had reactions to milk, flour, sugar, fruits, vegetables, spicy foods and fatty foods etc.

Now I am 48 years old and have been careful with food for more than 25 years. I also tried to avoid gluten, and felt that it was better.

I have several times been to the emergency room with pain in the gall bladder but ultrasounds and CT scans showed nothing.

A couple of years ago I had great difficulty in breathing, and I got severe pain in the chest. I was taken by ambulance and admitted to hospital with suspected heart disease. I had many blood tests, and I took the bike test. But they found no heart defects.

I had a gastroscopy and a 24-hour pH test showed that I had esophagitis. I was discharged after 2 days with a prescription for Nexium 40 mg morning and evening.

Eventually, I also got asthma and a while later, it was also discovered that I have Sjogren's syndrome.

A year after I was diagnosed with Sjogren's, my stomach was worse than ever. I had stomach pain no matter how healthy I ate. I ate only one thing at a time, but there was pain.

After a month with severe pain every day, I looked desperately online for help and I was relieved when your website came up!

I ordered your Great Taste No Pain plan because I just knew it would help! It is now moving forward with me thankfully, and for each day that passes, I get better and better!

Just being able to eat fruit again is fantastic! Plus no more nausea, migraines and stomach pains.

And my medicine? I haven't taken it since I started your program!

Thank you Sherry, who has given so many of us the joy of food again!

Best regards from Janne in Norway

As we age, our supply of digestive enzymes decreases. This is especially true for people who eat lots of processed food and hard to digest meals. Foods such as these require LOTS of enzymes to break them down and over time your body's ability to produce enough enzymes is diminished. Nothing can make you feel older than gas, bloating, heartburn and constipation from ineffective digestion and too few enzymes. Give your body the support it needs and feel great inside with Digestizol Max natural digestive enzyme supplement.  Learn more about Digestizol Max and all the ways it can help you here.
