When I was little,
my mother telling me that "Sometimes March
comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb" and other times
it "comes in like a lamb and leaves like a lion."
The change of
seasons is a classic time for people to get sick, and this year
is no exception. It seems everyone has a cold or some type
respiratory infection.
That means a sore
throat, feeling run down, coughing, sneezing, possibly a
fever...
And lots of mucus.
Mucus:
Friend or foe?
Although we tend
to associate mucus with a cold or sinus infection, it's really a
normal secretion that your body produces all the time to protect
its delicate internal membranes.
One way it does
this is by coating every single thing you ingest -- even water!
It also surrounds
and engulfs any toxins you might take in from your food or the
environment, and in doing so, it becomes thick, sticky and
cloudy to trap the toxins and escort them out.
Your body also
creates mucus as a natural defense against acids.
For example, when
you eat dairy products, the sugar in them (lactose) changes to
lactic acid. If it weren't for your mucus engulfing the lactic
acid, it could actually burn a hole in your cells, tissues or
organs...and possibly kill you!
Now you know
what's going on when you get congested after eating ice cream.
It's not just an annoyance -- your mucus is quite literally
saving your life.
Mucha too
mucha
Clearly mucus is a
good guy and something we don't want to be without, but that's
not the typical problem facing most people.
The problem is too
MUCH mucus.
And the primary
cause of that is food.
Most Americans
have a heavy diet of foods that cause thickened mucus. The foods
either contain toxins or they break down into an acid residue in
the digestive tract and sound the mucus alarm.
The worst
offenders are dairy products, followed by animal proteins, white
flour, processed foods, chocolate, coffee and alcohol.
Over time, thick
mucus caused by these foods can build up in your intestines,
trapping feces and other debris.
That not only
weakens your intestinal walls (making you susceptible to
diverticulosis) but it also provides the perfect environment for
harmful bacteria in your gut to multiply like rabbits.
And what does THAT
mean?
Harmful bacteria
overgrowth (dysbiosis) can cause gas, bloating, constipation,
diarrhea and diverticulitis attacks, plus worsening asthma and
allergy symptoms and an overall weakened immune system (making
you susceptible to every cold and bug around).
But
wait--there's more
Those nasty toxins
and acid wastes don't just stay embedded in your mucusy
intestines.
Instead they can
push their way through your colon wall and seep into your
bloodstream. At that point they're out of control -- invading
your cells, tissues and organs. Anywhere in your body is fair
game.
That can mean pain
and inflammation, sickness and disease, and accelerated aging.
Do you have
too much?
You might wonder,
"How can I tell if I have too much mucus?"
Glad you asked.
Here are some signs of excessive mucus:
- Frequent
constipation or diarrhea
- Frequent gas and bloating
- Bowel movements with an excessively foul odor
- Mucus in your feces
- Cold hands and/or feet
- Lightheadedness
- Headaches
- Nasal congestion not related to allergies
- Lung congestion not related to asthma
- White coated tongue
- Frequent throat clearing
Keep mucus
in line
If you suspect
excess mucus is a problem for you, or want to keep your mucus
defense "in line" and working like it should, I can help you.
The key is to
minimize excess mucus production AND help your intestinal walls
clear out any mucus-toxin buildup.
And that involves these 2 things:
1) Have a diet
that will help keep mucus low
This is a cinch
with the Great Taste No Pain health system.
The Great Taste No
Pain manuals show you delicious ways to enjoy alkaline foods
(which are cleansing, non-mucus creating fruits and vegetables)
as well as show you how to enjoy mucusy foods like dairy and
animal protein while minimizing their mucus-creating properties.
When you address
what creates excess mucus to begin with, your body is better
able to eliminate any excess...and once that happens, you will
likely feel a whole LOT different!
The changes you
can see include no more headaches or vague aches and pains, more
regular bowel movements, no more gas and bloating and not having
to clear your throat every time you speak!
And that's just
the beginning.
2) Balance your
intestinal flora
With the harmful
bacteria overgrowth that can result from mucus and toxin
buildup, it's essential to arm your system with a hefty dose of
beneficial (probiotic) bacteria.
This will help
strengthen your gut wall (to prevent toxins from seeping out),
encourage more regular bowel movements (so any mucus buildup can
get swept away with your feces) and make your immune system
stronger and better able to fight seasonal colds, bugs, flu and
allergies.
Super Shield multi-strain probiotic formula can help you
reach this important, health enhancing goal.
Super Shield
contains 13
quality strains of the most potent, feisty, beneficial bacteria that will help fight any toxin buildup you might have going on
and help counteract the harmful effects that dangerous bacteria
may be wreaking on your body.
Mucus should work
FOR you and protect you, without becoming a nuisance or
out-and-out harming your health.
Let the unbeatable
team of Great Taste No Pain and Super Shield help you keep mucus under control and working
as your friend--not your enemy.
To your health,
Sherry Brescia
PS: Andrea says it's miraculous!
Dear Sherry,
Nothing short of miraculous is the only way I can describe how
you're Great
Taste No Pain program has changed my life.
It
boggles my mind that after the many years of suffering with
GERD, gastritis, pancreatic and gall bladder insufficiency, your
program did just as its name suggests.
Fortunately, I never succumbed to taking the drugs that the many
specialists I had seen had prescribed for me. It just didn't
feel right to me. These drugs would not cure my digestive
ailments, but only mask the symptoms.
I
have been seeing an acupuncturist for almost a year and he did
the best he could to treat me but recently admitted himself that
it all comes down to the food you ingest or, as I now understand
it, how you combine your foods.
Approaching each digestive disturbance holistically, I had some
success, but nothing comes close to what your plan did for me.
There's no special diet to follow nor do you have to exclude any
of your favorite foods. The program is not at all inconvenient.
To
no longer have any pain or discomfort, to have improved sleep,
to feel more energy, and to once again enjoy food, are my
favorite responses to your outstanding program.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for running your business
with others well-being at the heart of it.
P.S. I also owe a debt of gratitude to one of your followers who
I was introduced to by my acupuncturist and who recommended your
program to me.
Be
well,
Andrea

As we age, our
supply of digestive enzymes decreases. This is especially
true for people who eat lots of processed food and hard to
digest meals. Foods such as these require LOTS of enzymes to
break them down and over time your body's ability to produce
enough enzymes is diminished. Nothing can make you feel older
than gas, bloating, heartburn and constipation from ineffective
digestion and too few enzymes. Give your body the support it
needs and feel great inside with Digestizol Max natural digestive enzyme supplement. Learn more about Digestizol Max and all the ways it can help you
