Got chronic sinus congestion?  Get Plegm Phree

Got chronic sinus congestion?

Norma's husband's congestion is SO bad, he even had surgery for it!

See what she writes:

Sherry:

You have written about allergies and sinus problems. My husband has both but the sinuses are really bad. He had them operated on--so full of infection, it even went into the bone!

Well, of course he can breathe better now since many polyps were removed and the pain is gone but he continues to be full of stuff and continually blows, snorts, etc.

Could this possibly have anything to do with poor digestion? Do you have any advice for us?

Thanks so much.
Norma

SB: Norma, you're right on. Most people don't even realize it, but diet, digestion and sinus congestion are directly connected.

Let me explain...

The journey from phood to phlegm

Although mucus can be a nuisance, it's a normal secretion that your body produces to help protect the internal tissues of your GI tract when food passes through.

It also acts like a "Secret Service agent"--detecting and surrounding any dangerous pathogens you might ingest from your food or the environment and escorting them out.

Plus, it protects your delicate internal membranes from acids that are both generated from foods (like lactic acid in dairy products) and the by-products of digestion and medication residue (acid wastes).

So mucus is actually a good guy...when there's not too much, that is.

The problem is, many people eat foods and meal combinations that cause a LOT of mucus.

You see, the average American has a diet that is heavy on foods that generate thickened mucus--like dairy products, meat, refined carbs, processed foods, coffee and alcohol.

Foods like these are irritating to your internal membranes, they're difficult to digest and break down into an acid residue in your digestive tract.

In addition, the average American meal is next to impossible to digest, including foods from every group under the sun which puts your system in turmoil.

Plus let's not forget that the average American is on SOME type of medication (or two or three), which creates even MORE acid wastes.

And all of that sounds your internal mucus alarm from your mouth to "where the sun don't shine."

Acid, acid everywhere

The accumulation of acid wastes from food and medication do more than make your body pump out mucus.

Being overrun with acid wastes also lowers your pH in the more dangerous acidic range.

Our bodies are meant to have a pH that's slightly alkaline--at about 7.365 in the blood, and around 7 or 7.1 in the saliva.

When you stay in this range, all of your organs and tissues can stay healthy and work the way they're supposed to.

But if you don't?

That's when things begin to break down. Inflammation is created, then aches and pains creep up. Eventually disease sets in.

Plus having an acid pH is the perfect environment for tumors of all kinds to flourish--and that includes sinus polyps like Norma's husband had!

Your immune system gets harmed too

Over time, thick mucus generated by food can build up in your intestines, trapping feces and other debris.

That not only weakens your intestinal walls (making you susceptible to conditions like diverticulosis) but it also provides the perfect environment for harmful bacteria in your gut to multiply like rabbits.

Harmful bacteria overgrowth (dysbiosis) can cause gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea and diverticulitis attacks.

Plus it can lead to worsening asthma and allergy symptoms (which Norma's husband has as well) and an overall weakened immune system--making you susceptible to every cold and bug around (which means even M-O-R-E congestion!).

Be phree from phlegm

If sinus congestion (or other mucus buildup) is a problem for you, it's essential to do what you can to help minimize excess mucus production AND help your intestinal walls clear out any mucus-toxin buildup.

And that involves these 2 things:

1) Foods that will help keep mucus low

This is a cinch with the Great Taste No Pain health system.

Or, if you are also gluten sensitive, Great Taste No Gluten is for you.

The Great Taste No Pain and Great Taste No Gluten manuals both show you delicious ways to enjoy alkaline foods (which are cleansing, non-mucus creating fruits and vegetables) as well as show you how to enjoy mucusy foods like dairy and animal protein while minimizing their mucus-creating properties.

When you address what creates excess mucus to begin with, your body is better able to eliminate any excess...

Can't you just FEEL those clearer sinuses?

2) Balance your intestinal flora

With the harmful bacteria overgrowth that can result from mucus and toxin buildup, it's essential to arm your system with a hefty dose of beneficial (probiotic) bacteria.

This will help strengthen your gut wall (to prevent toxins from seeping out), encourage more regular bowel movements (so any mucus buildup can get swept away with your feces) and make your immune system stronger and better able to fight seasonal colds, bugs, flu and allergies.

Super Shield multi-strain probiotic formula can help you reach this important, health enhancing goal.

Super Shield contains 13 quality strains of the most potent, feisty, beneficial bacteria that will help fight any toxin buildup you might have going on and help counteract the harmful effects that dangerous bacteria may be wreaking on your body.

Mucus should work FOR you and protect you, without becoming a nuisance, causing chronic congestion or out-and-out harming your health.

Let the unbeatable team of Great Taste No Pain or Great Taste No Gluten and Super Shield help you keep mucus under control and working as your friend--not your enemy.

To your health,

Sherry Brescia

PS: Suzanne has less sinus congestion:

Hi Sherry,

I've been on your eating plan for about one week. I did not have any major health problems and have been a vegetarian for over 20 years.

But even though I had no major health problems, I did have a lot of gas which could be very embarrassing since I am over 65 and as I age seem more unable to control the inevitable noises resulting from gas. In fact I feel my three-month old granddaughter and I have a lot in common regarding that part of our body!

I no longer have gas if I stick to your plan--thank you!

Even though I did not have digestive problems, I did have frequent bouts of insomnia and severe chronic sinus infection which I was able to somewhat keep under control with a netty pot. But I have been sleeping MUCH better since I went on the plan and my chronic sinus infection seems to have disappeared.

And last but not least I have lots more energy and I have lost weight. I sometimes want to combine foods in the wrong way but hesitate since I feel so good and because I have lost five pounds and will be down to my perfect weight soon, since I was overweight only a few pounds.

Thank you for all you do.

Suzanne

As we age, our supply of digestive enzymes decreases. This is especially true for people who eat lots of processed food and hard to digest meals. Foods such as these require LOTS of enzymes to break them down and over time your body's ability to produce enough enzymes is diminished. Nothing can make you feel older than gas, bloating, heartburn and constipation from ineffective digestion and too few enzymes. Give your body the support it needs and feel great inside with Digestizol Max natural digestive enzyme supplement.  Learn more about Digestizol Max and all the ways it can help you here.
