No Pain Digestion: The Simple ABCs

Sometimes digestive issues can go on so long and get SO nasty that it seems like nothing will really help and you've got to live with it.

After all, when you're a fire breathing dragon after eating, bloat up like a pan of Jiffy Pop popcorn, wouldn't know a normal BM if you fell over one (yuck) or can play a symphony with your flatulence, it can seem next to impossible to turn all that around.

So instead most people march off to the drug store and get something to mask their agony and cover up their pain...until next time, that is.

And the cycle repeats itself, over and over.

But it can be a lot easier than you think to always feel REALLY good after eating.

If you just pay closer attention to the ABCs of good digestion, it can make all the difference in the world for you.

So here goes -- the ABCs that can help make you feel A-OK:

A: Avoid eating in a stressed state

Digestion is a parasympathetic process, meaning your body must be in a relaxed, non-stressed state for it to be accomplished efficiently.

Eating in a relaxed state also encourages you to eat slower, which means that your body will recognize satiety long before you've had a chance to gobble down enough food for 3 people.

If you instead eat when your sympathetic nervous system is in gear (such as when you're working, driving, emotionally upset, stressed, rushing, etc.) that can have a HUGE negative impact on your digestion.

I can practically hear you propping up more pillows on your bed as you reach for the Rolaids with your chest on fire.

B: Be sure to chew your food thoroughly

I know. This seems obvious but it's really not.

MANY people do not chew their food nearly as thoroughly as they should. (People like this are commonly said to be "inhaling their food.")

The larger the pieces of food are that your stomach and small intestine need to tackle, the better the chances of impaired digestion (and the better the chances of your choking as well).

Plus, carbohydrate digestion begins in your mouth with your saliva, so the more that you chew carbs the better the jump-start you're getting on digestion.

C: Combine your meals correctly

This is a biggie.

You can be as relaxed as a snoozing dog and chew until the cows come home, but if you're eating foods together that are require opposing digestive enzymes, and thus are difficult for your body to digest, you are putting out the welcome mat for digestive hell.

If your system can't break down your foods like it's supposed to, the entire digestive process is thrown out of whack, from your stomach down to "where the sun don't shine."

And that can mean a variety of problems, each and every time you eat. (Here comes the Alka-Seltzer or Pepto-Bismol!)

But when you instead eat foods that your body can digest easily together, a whole new world of relief opens up to you.

Now before you scoff at that thought, know this: Eating right does NOT have to mean giving up foods you love or existing on rabbit food.

Not when you follow the guidelines I give you in the Great Taste No Pain system.

In the Great Taste No Pain manuals, I show you how to structure meals that your body can effectively break down.

Don't worry -- you'll still be enjoying delicious foods you love, and it's ridiculously easy to do. Before long you won't even have to think about it -- it will become second nature for you.

Plus, Great Taste No Pain really delivers on the "great taste" promise. 112 of the most delicious dishes you've ever had IN YOUR LIFE, including hearty soups, savory stews, moist breads, fresh, tasty salads and even luscious desserts!

You will be stunned at how quickly you'll see a difference in how you feel...and you'll never want to go back to your "old way" of eating again.

And if you've got gluten issues, don't worry. Great Taste No Gluten teaches you all the smart food pairing principles that are in Great Taste No Pain, plus guides you in keeping gluten out of your life.

And the gluten free dishes in the Great Taste No Gluten recipe book are the bomb!

S: Supplement with enzymes if needed

Because of our typical modern diets (lots of fast food, processed food and complex meals) many people have diminished their body's ability to produce adequate enzymes for digestion.

You see, those foods and meals cause your body to use up LOTS of enzymes to break them down, and contrary to what you may think, there is NOT an endless river of enzymes flowing inside of you...

Your body can only produce so many.

That's why, after years of having a "cast iron stomach," you can suddenly start having trouble after all your meals. Enzymes are a runnin' low, due to years of tackling your meals.

And acid reducing medications only make this WORSE--not better.

This was a primary reason we developed Digestizol Max, a high potency digestive enzyme formula.

Its super-potent blend of 14 plant-derived enzymes targets a broad range of proteins, carbohydrates, sugars, fats and fibers in your foods. And 5 herbal botanicals assist in soothing and healing your digestive tract.

Digestizol Max will help your body digest every single kind of food you could possibly eat...while helping to conserve your body's enzyme capabilities.

Hello to better digestion and fewer gut aches for you!

Remember, digestive problems do not need to be a problem for you any longer.

Just follow the simple ABCs of better digestion

A: Avoid eating in a stressed state
B: Be sure to chew foods thoroughly
C: Combine all your meals correctly
S: Supplement with enzymes when you eat any meats, dairy, packaged foods, soft drinks or complex carbs

Do this and I'm sure you'll see a BIG difference really soon!

And when you do, write and tell me about it. I'll be waiting to hear from you.

To your health,

Sherry Brescia

PS: Lindsey said no to a life of bondage with IBS:

Sherry,

I have had horrible stomach issues for years! I figured as a woman, bloating daily was normal. I would have constipation for days and the occasional diarrhea attack. The last episode lasted for 5 days in a row! My Doctor prescribed me medications for constipation, acid reflux and then an anti-diarrheal pill.

I called in sick for the last time about a month ago, that morning I woke up and felt the need to find answers. I did an internet search on IBS. Your site was the first I looked at, and read your entire page. It was so similar to mine! I have had EGD tests as well as colonoscopies and I am only 26! The only answer they had for me was IBS. Not good enough...I didn't want a life of bondage.

So I tried your Great Taste No Pain plan--I have not felt so good in years! Your plan has changed me forever. I never thought it was possible to have a flat stomach all day long, even after eating.

People look at me like I am a little nuts because I am 5'11 and 139 pounds and when I ask about nothing fried, and extra veggies they look at me like I think I am just a crazy skinny chick. It is fine by me! I have not had this much energy in... I can't remember how long. I have maintained this healthy weight for a while now and feel great!

Thank you so much.. I have my life back, I can go out to eat and actually have a good time. Not worrying about how soon I can get home and recuperate!

Lindsey

As we age, our supply of digestive enzymes decreases. This is especially true for people who eat lots of processed food and hard to digest meals. Foods such as these require LOTS of enzymes to break them down and over time your body's ability to produce enough enzymes is diminished. Nothing can make you feel older than gas, bloating, heartburn and constipation from ineffective digestion and too few enzymes. Give your body the support it needs and feel great inside with Digestizol Max natural digestive enzyme supplement.  Learn more about Digestizol Max and all the ways it can help you here.
