Crohn's-Colitis News: 3 Puzzle Pieces That Fit

When someone has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease or
ulcerative colitis (collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease
or IBD
), once the initial shock wears off, it's understandable that they
have some serious questions.

What should I do? What can I eat? Is medication my only option? Will I need surgery?

Unfortunately, although there are a large number of well-meaning sources of IBD information and advice, the answers given to IBD sufferers aren't always helpful or accurate...and can sometimes do more harm than good!

Here's what I mean.

Here's what we know...but does it help?

One of the best known IBD research and support organizations is the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).

The CCFA's website describes all the research they've done on Crohn's and colitis since their inception in 1967.

They talk about the different medication options for IBD.

They have a 5-step diet "challenge" you can undergo which basically tests your knowledge of typical "trigger" foods and tells you to consult a doctor or dietitian for advice on what to eat.

They have resources for patients to find a doctor or support group.

They advertise Crohn's and colitis events in various areas.

Oh, and they tell you how you can donate to their organization too.

But I have a question.

How does ANY of that help a Crohn's or colitis sufferer to feel better NOW?

Answer: It doesn't.

REAL answers

I think it's about time for all the Crohn's and colitis sufferers out there to get some REAL answers.

What anyone with Crohn's or colitis needs to know is that IBD is actually a triple headed monster--it can threaten you in three distinct ways.

And more importantly, there are safe, natural measures that you can take to help alleviate IBD--without dangerous drugs and life-altering surgery.

Let me tell you exactly what you need to know.

The 3 pieces to the IBD puzzle

IBD can actually hit you from three different directions.

And unless you know about all three ways IBD can threaten you (and more importantly what you can do to help), you can be left needlessly suffering and feeling hopeless, praying that someday researchers will find some magic answer.

Here is lowdown on the triple IBD threat, and what you can do to make a HUGE difference in how you feel:

IBD puzzle piece #1: The digestive piece

Crohn's can strike any area of the digestive tract from the mouth to the anus but it usually affects the lower section of the small intestine and upper area of the colon.

Colitis, on the other hand, is typically confined strictly to the colon.

Both are characterized by chronic inflammation in the intestines which can lead to the all-too-familiar diarrhea, severe abdominal pain, fever and rectal bleeding.

So it makes sense that if your intestines are inflamed, you should do whatever you can to help keep things quiet in there.

And by far the best, most effective thing you can do is make sure your digestion is smooth and efficient.

You see, thorough digestion helps encourage wastes that move through your system like they're supposed to. Smooth, easy passage of wastes means less chance of irritating intestines that may be tender and infested with sores.

What has been shown to be effective for hundreds of thousands of Crohn's and colitis sufferers is eating foods that digest well together, otherwise known as proper combining of foods.

You see, eating foods together that your system can't break down well is literally inviting an IBD attack.

But when you eat food combinations that break down easily, you encourage easy, regular bowel movements and help minimize intestinal irritation, no matter how severe or how long you've suffered with Crohn's or Colitis.

And that's what I show you the Great Taste No Pain digestive health system.

You will learn exactly what to do, what to eat and how to structure your meals so you'll help minimize irritation and feel great after every meal.

Many people with Crohn's or colitis report relief from pain, diarrhea and bleeding almost immediately...and is life ever sweet for them when that happens!

IBD puzzle piece #2: The immune system piece

Crohn's and colitis are autoimmune conditions, meaning your immune system sees normal bacteria or molecules in the intestines as dangerous invaders and launches an attack.

Then predictably you fly to the closest bathroom with inflammation, pain and diarrhea.

But you can help fight this reaction by helping to make your immune system a little smarter.

You see, having a healthy population of probiotics in your gut helps to encourage more of your immune system's natural inflammation-fighting cells to form.

Plus, probiotics help the other cells in your intestinal tract to treat normal molecules as friends instead of enemies....

...And that' a BIG relief for someone with IBD!

The best way you can help your body to achieve and maintain a strong population of beneficial probiotic bacteria is to take a top-notch supplement.

There is no probiotic more super than Super Shield multi-strain probiotic formula.

Unlike drugs and steroids that can actually harm your other bodily systems, Super Shield helps naturally encourage more anti-inflammatory Regulatory T cells to form, thereby fighting the immune system's whacky response to normal tissues and cells.

It also helps your digestion become more efficient and encourages regular, smooth-sailing bowel movements.

IBD puzzle piece #3: The gluten piece

Studies have shown that many IBD sufferers are also very sensitive to gluten.

And if you happen to be one of them and don't know enough to avoid gluten, it won't matter WHAT else you do--you'll continue to suffer!

Many IBD patients have seen tremendous relief once they eliminated gluten from their lives. It's kind of like the magic answer--the one thing that few people know about but it makes all the difference in the world for so many people.

Now, don't worry because avoiding gluten not as daunting of a task as it seems.

Especially when you have Great Taste No Gluten to help you along.

The Great Taste No Gluten manuals show you all the ways gluten is disguised in foods so you can make sure you're avoiding it 100%, as well as give you substitution charts for many common gluten free ingredients and meal planning suggestions to keep ALL of your meals easily digested.

And the gluten-free recipe book contains over 160 scrumptious gluten free delights which your whole family will LOVE, whether or not they have a gluten challenge. Most gluten-free foods absolutely suck.  But not these.  You will not find another gluten-free recipe book with better tasting foods than this one.

Because you're armed with what you need to be aware of to make a tremendous difference in how you feel.

Joyce's husband hasn't felt this good in 15 years

Wow, Sherry!

My husband has Crohn's disease, and ever since he started your plan over 1-1/2 years ago, he has been a different person! IT WORKS!

He hasn't felt this good in 15 years! He sticks with it religiously, also!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Sherri is off medication and having normal BMs

Hi Sherry,

I just want to say thank you so much for your Great Taste No Pain system.

I have Colitis and IBS, and have suffered for as long as I can remember. I came across your system on a Colitis blog, someone on the blog swore by the system and wanted to help others with this horrible disease, at that point I would have tried anything.

I don't think before I started this system of eating I ever have had a normal bowel movement (going from severe diarrhea to severe constipation).

I have only been combining my foods for a week and for six days I have had normal bowel movements!

I was on steroids and an antispasmodic daily, I took myself off them to see if I could and I am doing great. I have had no pain in my stomach for me that's unheard of!

I have two sisters with similar problems who are now trying your plan with great success.

Thank you so much,

Sherri B.
